Coordenação de Aperfeiçoamento de Pessoal de Nível Superior / The competitive environment grows more and more. This puts some pressure on organizations to present something more than just trading products and services. Then, it appears the innovation as a key factor for differentiation. This study aims to make an analysis of the culture focused on management innovation in organizations in search of excellence. The population consists of organizations that won the Gaucho Program of Quality and Productivity awards (PGQP) in Santa Maria (RS) and that have a system of asset management based on criteria of excellence. This work include some literature of the area and, after, an exploratory research through the application of a questionnaire which consisted of opened and closed questions. The research showed that the majority of organizations identified the importance of innovation in the organizational environment; however, there is often a lack of funds for investment. It was verified that leadership encourages, in most cases, the development of creative ideas and it provides a supportive environment for it. The cost was identified as the main problem when innovating and it is also noticed that there are few investments in research and development (P&D) of product or service, mainly due to the delay of return. Finally, it was found that most organizations recognize the development of talents and entrepreneurial ideas. It is concluded that organizations identify how innovation is important and that a management innovation would provide a competitive advantage and increase quality and productivity, essential for survival of organizations. / O ambiente competitivo cresce cada vez mais. Isso faz com que as organizações apresentem algo a mais do que somente comerciar produtos e serviços. Então, surge a inovação como um fator chave para a diferenciação. Este trabalho possui como objetivo principal realizar uma análise da cultura voltada à inovação gerencial em organizações rumo à excelência. A população analisada foi constituída das organizações ganhadoras de premiações do Programa Gaúcho de Qualidade e Produtividade (PGQP) na cidade de Santa Maria (RS) e que possuem um sistema de gestão baseados nos critérios de excelência. O trabalho consta de levantamento bibliográfico e pesquisa exploratória realizada por meio da aplicação de um questionário constituído de questões abertas e fechadas. A pesquisa demonstrou que a maioria das organizações pesquisadas identifica a importância da inovação no ambiente organizacional; porém, muitas vezes há a falta de recursos para investimentos. Percebeu - se que a liderança incentiva, na maioria das vezes, o desenvolvimento de ideias criativas e proporciona um ambiente propicio a ele. O custo foi identificado como principal problema no momento de inovar e percebe-se que ainda há poucos investimentos em pesquisa e desenvolvimento (P&D) de produto ou serviço, devido principalmente a demora de retorno. Por fim, foi constatado que a maioria das organizações reconhece o desenvolvimento de talentos e ideias empreendedoras. Conclui-se que as organizações identificam o quão é essencial inovar e que uma gestão da inovação proporcionaria um diferencial competitivo e um aumento de qualidade e produtividade, características vitais para sobrevivência das organizações.

The language denotes words that rename names and the own history of characters who live the tradition and/or revisit their roots in Mozambican land. The multiple meanings of the words allow us to affirm that life and death, space and time, and the symbols of nature such as water, fire, earth and air represent the breaking of boundaries. Protagonists seem to be alive and dead, the locus formerly and Vila Longe is the starting and finishing point of the journey which consists in the revelation of the interiority of man. The discourse reflects the zigzag constructed in the fragmented literary narrative between past (1560) and present (2002). The space-time dimension shows the imaginary that emerges in the culture, religiosity and history of Mozambique. The journey to liberation itself contains multiple travelers from various parts of the world. Thus, the memories resize the process of border movement. / Este trabalho de dissertação apresenta a desconstrução de fronteiras em O outro pé da sereia (2006), de Mia Couto. A linguagem denota palavras que ressignificam nomes e a própria história de personagens que vivem a tradição e/ou a revisitação de suas raízes na terra moçambicana. Os múltiplos sentidos dos vocábulos permitem afirmar que vida e morte, espaço e tempo, e os símbolos da natureza como água, fogo, terra e ar figurativizam o rompimento de fronteiras. Protagonistas parecem estar vivos e mortos, o lócus Antigamente e Vila Longe é ponto de partida e de chegada na viagem que consiste na revelação da interioridade do homem. O discurso reflete o ziguezague construído na narrativa literária fragmentada entre passado (1560) e presente (2002). A dimensão espaço-tempo mostra o imaginário que emerge na cultura, religiosidade e história de Moçambique. A viagem rumo à libertação de si contém múltiplos viajantes de várias partes do mundo. Assim, as memórias redimensionam o processo de deslocamento de fronteiras.

Mercator, besides a cartographer, was calligrapher, carver and engraver in copper plates (used for graphic printing), manufacturer of scientific instruments (compasses, rulers and squares), of terrestrial and celestial globes and, also, map editor. However, is the world map of 1569, in a map projection became different from everything that had in the moment and remained for more than 400 years as standard maps that will be in this Gerardus Mercator s universe the central focus of this work. The chapter 1 of the research contains a brief explanation about the origin of maps and the explanation of geography in antiquity Greek to may understand the basis on which the renaissance cartographers, including Mercator, could resume studies of maps and cartographic projections. The chapter 2 studies Mercator and his social, political and economical contexts, besides the specific Flanders politic, the religious question with the rise of Protestant Reformation and how all this situation was connected with the life trajectory of the cartographer. The chapter 3 will analyze specifically his most famous map of 1569, its finality, purposes, consequences and how it was elaborated. It will be shown what were the differential in relation to other maps made at the time and, mainly, how the Ptolemaic maps was resumed by Mercator / A fonte primária desta pesquisa é Gerardus Mercator, nascido em 1512 na vila de Rupelmonde, região de Flandres, atual Bélgica, e falecido em Duisburg, no Ducado de Cléves, no oeste da atual Alemanha, em 1594. Mercator, além de cartógrafo, era calígrafo, entalhador e gravador em placas de cobre (usadas em impressão gráfica), construtor de instrumentos científicos (compassos, réguas e esquadros), de globos terrestres e celestiais e, também, editor de mapas. Entretanto, é o mapa-múndi de 1569, em uma projeção cartográfica diferenciada de tudo que havia no momento e que permaneceu por mais de 400 anos como padrão para mapas, que será, nesse universo de Gerardus Mercator, o foco central deste trabalho. O capítulo 1 da pesquisa conterá uma breve explicação sobre a origem dos mapas e a explanação da geografia na Antiguidade grega para que se possa entender qual foi a base com a qual os cartógrafos renascentistas, inclusive Mercator, puderam reiniciar o estudo dos mapas e das projeções cartográficas. O capítulo 2 estudará Mercator e seu contexto social, político e econômico, além da política específica de Flandres, da questão religiosa com a ascensão da reforma protestante e como toda essa situação esteve ligada à trajetória de vida do cartógrafo. It was object from the present study the 2nd Center of Telem?tica of Area (2nd CTA), Organization of the Brazilian Army based in the City of Rio de Janeiro, that acts in States Rio de Janeiro and Esp?rito Santo rendering services of telecommunications and informatics. This research was elaborated in two parts: a documental and another of field. The first was constituted of bibliographical consultations including information in national extent about telecommunications in Brazil, administration heading for the excellence, analysis and improvement of processes, as well as the paper of 2nd CTA in the services rendered of telecommunications. Second based on field research that had as specific objectives to analyze the processes and methods of work of the Organization and to identify information seeking to analyze the importance and the viability of the Integrated Net of Telecommunications of the Army (RITEx), managed by 2nd CTA. This part from the work consisted of the elaboration and application of questionnaires, with grounds in YIN (2001) and Alves-Mazzoti & Gewandsznajder (1998), applied to person of 2nd CTA and from the Command 1st RM. The information were analyzed using the program of statistical analysis of information SPSS, where the reached results verify the viability of maintaining a private net of telecommunications, and also the viability of the administration from the work processes adopted, needing some changes and innovations in the processes of the telecommunications of the Organization in study. This research proposes some improvements, as the technological innovation, specific trainings, capacity to adapt, cultural and political change of organizational integration. This study shows that is through an administration heading for the excellence that can reach the readiness of the service and efficient attendance to the customer. / Este estudo trata da gest?o do sistema de telecomunica??es em uma Organiza??o P?blica de Telem?tica. Foi objeto do presente estudo o 2? Centro de Telem?tica de ?rea (2? CTA), Organiza??o do Ex?rcito Brasileiro sediada na Cidade do Rio de Janeiro, que atua nos Estados do Rio de Janeiro e Esp?rito Santo prestando servi?os de telecomunica??es e inform?tica. Esta pesquisa foi elaborada em duas partes: uma documental e outra de campo. A primeira se constituiu de consultas bibliogr?ficas abrangendo informa??es em ?mbito nacional sobre telecomunica??es no Brasil, gest?o rumo ? excel?ncia, an?lise e melhoria de processos, bem como o papel do 2? CTA na presta??o de servi?os de telecomunica??es. A segunda baseou-se em pesquisa de campo que teve como objetivos espec?ficos analisar os processos e m?todos de trabalho da Organiza??o e identificar informa??es visando analisar a import?ncia e a viabilidade da Rede Integrada de Telecomunica??es do Ex?rcito (RITEx), gerenciada pelo 2? CTA. Esta parte do trabalho constou da elabora??o e aplica??o de question?rios, com base em YIN (2001) e Alves- Mazzoti & Gewandsznajder (1998), aplicados a integrantes do 2? CTA e do Comando da 1? RM. Os dados foram analisados usando o programa de an?lise estat?stica de dados SPSS, onde os resultados alcan?ados constatam a viabilidade de se manter uma rede privativa de telecomunica??es, e tamb?m a viabilidade da gest?o dos processos de trabalho adotados, necessitando de algumas mudan?as e inova??es nos processos das telecomunica??es da Organiza??o em estudo. Esta pesquisa prop?e algumas melhorias, quanto a inova??o tecnol?gica, treinamentos espec?ficos, capacidade de adaptar-se, mudan?a cultural e pol?tica de integra??o organizacional. Este estudo mostra que ? atrav?s de uma gest?o rumo ? excel?ncia que se pode alcan?ar a presteza do atendimento e assist?ncia eficiente ao cliente.

Observamos que as discussões sobre identidade, ética e a construção de um modelo de sociedade que seja a ultrapassagem deste que é apresentado no real, passa, necessariamente, por um procedimento ético. Entendemos que tal processo, tendo por base as ações e a conduta do personagem Simba Ukolo, são a representação do homem novo ou o modelo sobre o qual a humanidade deve se conduzir neste novo tempo. / In this dissertation, entitled Walkies of a knight to the South, elaborated from the lectures of the romance The almost en of the world and from the textual study and analysis, we decided to discuss the hero figure, the action and attitudes caused by/from the personage position through the difficult provoked by an event, in this case the death of the living in the planet, caused by a scientific experience made/done by a religious group, named the Freedon´s Champions. We noticed that the discussions about identity, ethics and the construction of a society model that is obsolete, when in consider this real presented, goes through, necessarily, and ethic’s process. We understand that this proceeding, based in the actions and attitudes of Simba Ukolo´s person represent new man or that humanity should follow in this new time.
