Příprava objemových materiálů na bázi Mg-Ti metodami práškové metalurgie / Preparation of Mg-Ti based bulk materials via powder metallurgy

Žilinský, Martin January 2020 (has links)
The aim of this thesis is preparation and characterization of bulk Mg–Ti based materials. In the first theoretical part properties of base materials and the complexity of preparation alloy from these metals is discussed. Second part is focused on powder metallurgy and its applicability on Mg–Ti system. In another part particle composites are described. In chapter current research another possible methods of alloy preparation from magnesium and titanium are mentioned. The experimental part of this thesis was the preparation of bulk Mg–Ti materials from metal powders. For sample preparation conventional methods of powder metallurgy and spark plasma sintering was employed. Furthermore a characterisation of these materials was done. Microstructure was observed. Present phases were found using X-ray diffraction analysis. Amounts of these phases were determined using a scanning electron microscope with energy–dispersive spectrometry and using X-ray fluorescence. Furthermore hardness was measured and bending test with evaluation was done. Significant difference in results of sample preparation using conventional methods of powder metallurgy and spark plasma sintering was observed.

Modely přestupu tepla a přívodu tepla pro zážehové motory / Heat transfer models for spark-ignition engines

Ptáček, Martin January 2020 (has links)
The subject of this diploma thesis is the creation of a spark ignition thermodynamics model using pressure data measured on the actual engine. The model made in Matlab programming language combines Wiebe function for fuel energy release and Woschni correlation for heat transfer between in-cylinder gasses and cylinder walls. The created model contains compression and expansion stroke only, that's why are conditions at the start of compression and total heat addition calculated by measured pressure data from Skoda 1.0 MPI engine. Creation of transparent model by Matlab scripts enables other users to understand the basics of „zero-dimensional“ thermodynamics models properly, which are used by number of commercial solvers such as GT-Power simulation software. First part of this thesis deals with fundamental laws of heat addition and heat transfer, description of equations for its modelling and application. The major section is devoted to Matlab model, where defined input parameters are mentioned, description of model operation and model parameters influence study. Next parts develops issues of combustion pressure measurement and creation of engine simulation by GT-Power software used for comparison with Matlab model. In the thesis conclusion are simulations and actual engine data differences discussed.

Etude expérimentale des phénomènes physico-chimiques de l'allumage dans des écoulements laminaires et turbulents / Expremental study of physical-chemical phenomenon of ignition in laminar and turbulent flows

Cardin, Céline 08 November 2013 (has links)
The aim of the Ph-D thesis is to study ignition mechanisms of a flame kernel in laminar and turbulent flows. First, a preliminary study is devoted to the analysis of the laser-induced spark ignition system and to the study of the flame kernel initiation in premixed laminar flow. Then, the study of the ignition is performed in turbulent premixed flow, to highlight the influence of velocity turbulent fluctuations on the flame kernel initiation. Finally, in turbulent non-premixed flows, the effect of the local and instantaneous mixture fraction on the flame kernel initiation and development is analyzed.

Moderní hliníkové slitiny připravené práškovou metalurgií a plasmovým sintrováním / Advanced aluminium alloys prepared by powder metallurgy and spark plasma sintering

Molnárová, Orsolya January 2018 (has links)
Mechanical properties of aluminium alloys highly depend on their phase composition and microstructure. High strength can be achieved among others by introduction of a high volume fraction of fine, homogeneously distributed second phase particles and by a refinement of the grain size. Powder metallurgy allows to prepare fine grained materials with increased solid solubility which are favourable precursors for further precipitation strengthening. Gas atomization was used for the preparation of powders of the commercial Al7075 alloy and its modification containing 1 wt% Zr. A part of gas atomized powders was mechanically milled at different conditions. Mechanical milling reduced the grain size down to the nano-size range and the corresponding microhardness exceeded the value of 300 HV. Powders were consolidated by the spark plasma sintering method to nearly fully dense compacts. Due to a short time and relatively low temperature of sintering the favourable microstructure can be preserved in the bulk material. The grain size of compacts prepared from milled powder was retained in the submicrocrystalline range and the microhardness close to 200 HV exceeded that of the specially heat treated ingot metallurgical counterparts. The prepared compacts retained their fine grained structure and high...

Příprava a charakterizace karbidů vybraných d a p prvků / Preparation and characterisation of selected d and p elements carbides

Nižňanský, Matěj January 2020 (has links)
This thesis is focused on carbide ceramics synthesis, more specifically on the synthesis of a Ti2AlC MAX Phase carbide using solution chemistry rather than powder metallurgy. Chloride and nitrate precursors have been used as a source of metals and citric acid as a source of carbon for carbothermal reduction and as a complexing agent. A new route of precursor synthesis has been developed based on peroxo-titanic acid, which helps retain aluminium. The syntheses were performed using the SPS facility to ensure high heating rates. Al4C3 and TiC carbides and their mixtures were prepared successfully. However, the Ti2AlC phase was not synthesized under used conditions. The phase composition, structure and grain sizes of the samples were investigated by powder X-ray diffraction, X-ray fluorescence and electron microscopy. The contents of carbon in the precursors were determined by thermogravimetric analysis.

Komentovaný překlad vybraných povídek od Muriel Sparkové s úvodní studií o autorce, stylu povídek a problémech překladu / An annotated translation of Muriel Spark's selected short stories with an introduction to the author, the style of the short stories and their translation complexities

Tichá, Kateřina January 2019 (has links)
The thesis consists of two parts. The first, practical part presents a translation of short stories The Portobello Road (1956), The Curtain Blown by the Breeze (1961) and The Young Man Who Discovered the Secret of Life (2000) by the Scottish writer Muriel Spark. The texts represent various periods of Spark's writing career and offer a complex insight into her style and its various shades. The translation is succeeded by a study focusing on the life and work of Muriel Spark and mainly on an analysis of the key translation issues encountered in the process of translation. The key problems include the translation of Spark's specific literary language, the rendering of natural speech and the idiolects of the characters, the translation of names and other culture-specific facts. The theoretical part devoted to the translation analysis stresses the link between various translation theories and the work of a translator.
