Informationsspecialist eller informatör; likheter och skillnader på arbetsmarknaden / Information specialist or informant; similarities and differences on the labour market

Talay, Tandis January 2006 (has links)
The change in the information society has affected the development of the labour market for information specialists and informants as well as their roles. Companies are now aware of the fact that information specialists have a variety of important skills and competence that is important for them. The goal of this thesis is to see what defines an information specialist and an informant and also to find out their situation on the labour market. The similarities and differences between the two professions will also be discussed in the thesis. The main method used is the investigation of the job advertisements in the journal DIK-forum from the year 2000 and year 2004. It will help to examine some changes of the labour market seeing if it is going up or down. The literature review includes positive and negative forecasts of experts about the roll of information specialists and informants in the labour market. The results of the empirical investigation showed that the labour market demanded less information specialists in 2004 than in 2002, but there was a good chance that it is going to turn around. According to the advertisements, the work assignments of information specialists and informants have grown closer together. Of course, there still are some differences between them, information specialist are responsible for a large area of the company concerning the use and provision of information for different levels and tasks of organisational work, while informants are more focused on producing information within the organisation.

Morin, Hedvig January 2017 (has links)
