GDPR är en lag som trädde i kraft den 25 Maj 2018 och ersatte i Sverige Personuppgiftslagen; lagen gäller för organisationer som hanterar personuppgifter tillhörande EU-medborgare eller personer som befinner sig i EU. Om en organisation inte följer GDPR kan det leda till betydande ekonomiska avgifter. Många hemsidor hanterar personuppgifter, både direkt genom t.ex. inloggningsuppgifter men också indirekt genom t.ex. tredjepartsförfrågningar. Det är därför många som är ansvariga för hemsidor nu står inför en stor utmaning, nämligen att följa GDPR. Den här rapporten beskriver utvecklingen av ett verktyg som vi utvecklade för att få en överblick över om hemsidan följer GDPR eller inte i vissa aspekter. Verktyget bygger på olika komponenter som analyserar en del av hemsidan var och deras sammanställda resultat visas i ett webbgränssnitt för användaren. Målet med verktyget var att kunna hitta minst ett fabricerat GDPR-relaterat fel i en testmiljö och det lyckades vi med. Verktyget kan inte säga om en sida följer GDPR eller inte men det kan peka ut potentiella problemområden som t.ex. på förhand ikryssade boxar, osäkra tredjepartsförfrågningar och informationsläckage via en rad webbteknologier. Denna information kan användas för att få en snabb överblick över problem och som grund för vidare analys.

Två olika ljudläggningar, en hyperrealistisk och en minimalistisk, skapades till ett videoklipp av en spindel i ett datorspel för att undersöka och jämföra upplevelsen av dessa olika ljuddesignskoncept i relation till varandra. Frågan som besvarats lyder;“Hur upplevs minimalistisk kontra hyperrealistisk ljuddesign i kontext av skräckmedia?”. Arbetet har inspirerats av spindlars verkliga läten samt filmer och datorspel som innehåller jättelika spindlar eller insekter, vilket har kombineras med författarnas uppfattning och definitioner av minimalistisk och hyperrealistisk ljuddesign. Ljud har spelats in och signalbehandlats för att ljudlägga videoklippen. Denna artefakt testades med hjälp av åtta deltagare som fick se de två olika versionerna av videoklippen och sedan svara på relaterade frågor i en enkät. Den hyperrealistiska ljudläggningen var den föredragna av majoriteten av deltagare på grund av att den upplevdes mer obehaglig och för att den minimalistiska ljudläggningen uppfattades som ofullständig. Dock föredrog vissa deltagare den minimalistiska ljudläggningen då ljuden upplevdes tydligare och därmed mer obehagliga. / <p>Det finns övrigt digitalt material (t.ex. film-, bild- eller ljudfiler) eller modeller/artefakter tillhörande examensarbetet som ska skickas till arkivet.</p>

To determine whether the spider communities in spruce Picea abies plantations in southern Sweden differ between trees of various ages, the spiders from minor, young and older trees has been collected during May and June 2016. The minor trees were 1.5–2.0 m, the young trees were 19–20 m and the older trees were over 22 m high. The spiders were collected from five plantations of each age category and from ten trees in each plantation. The spiders from ten of the dead branches inside of each older plantation were collected as well. 59 different species were found and all together 970 spider specimens were collected. The results showed many different things, for example that the species on the dead branches were mainly web spiders and that many of the species on the minor trees prefer the field layer as habitat. My study was compared to three other spider studies, one from Sweden, one from the Czech Republic and one from Norway. The comparison showed differences in the collected spider species which could be explained by the various methods used in the different studies and whether the spiders in the study had been collected during early summer or throughout the whole season. The spiders collected in this study could in the future be used to detect changes in the spider fauna caused by climate change.

The colour choice of spiders and the effects of competition on this phenomenon were examined in the laboratory using the sit-and-wait predator goldenrod crab spider (Misumena vatia, (Thomisidae)). This species can  be both white and yellow (could also change colour)  and it was here examined whether individuals preferred to sit on flowers which has the same colouration as their bodies. I found that M.vatia showed preference for flowers that matched their own body colour, but when competition was introduced this preference disappear. It seems, however, that position is a factor that can influences the substrate decisions of M. vatia, where the edge of the flower is preferred.
