Berechnungsansatz für Strukturbauteile aus Holzfurnierlagenverbundwerkstoff – WVC / Calculation approach of structures made from Wood Veneer Composite – WVC

Eichhorn, Sven 15 February 2013 (has links) (PDF)
It was developed a simple approach for the calculation of a modular construction system for box sections (profile structures) of different cross-sectional dimensions. These profile structures consists of WVC (Wood Veneer Composites). The approach maps the static load case and the fatigue behavior under pulsating three-point bending. By using a structural component made from commercial birch plywood, the calculation approach is specified and verified. Based on the force-deformation behavior of the analyzed single components in connection with the capillary-porous structure of the wood, the calculation approach dispense on an analysis of the tensions. Instead, a criterion, which calculates the critical normal strain in the outer fibers of the structural components, is used. Furthermore, a method of a low-cycle fatigue test (LCF, abbr. 1e+03 cycles) is presented. This method detects the “knee point" of the fatigue limit line for the profiles. That point is usually determined by the use of a high-cycle fatigue tests (HCF, 1e+06 until 1e+07 cycles).

Étude de la réponse dynamique des ponts roulants soumis à des chocs multiples pendant un séisme : Co-simulation implicite / explicite multi-échelle en temps pour la dynamique du contact / Numerical response of bridge cranes subjected to repeated shocks during an earthquake : Implicit / explicite multi-time scale co-simulation for contact dynamics

Fekak, Fatima-Ezzahra 02 May 2017 (has links)
Bridge cranes are hoisting appliances located overhead in buildings. They are used to handle very heavy and sometimes critical loads. During an earthquake, a bridge crane may be subjected to multiple impacts between wheels and rails. These impacts can cause significant damage to the structure leading to a fall of the handled load or the bridge crane itself. Therefore, the qualification of such equipment, subjected to an earthquake, is very important. Currently, this qualification is based on static methods. These methods assume a purely linear behavior of the bridge cranes, which leads to a very conservative forces. Consequently, the bridge cranes manufacturers are sometimes unable to design the equipement from the over-estimated efforts provided by the static methods. The aim of this work is to study the dynamic response of a bridge crane during an earthquake by taking into account the geometric and material non-linearities. In order to model such phenomena, a time-history dynamic analysis with a multi-scale approach is performed. To take into account the high frequency aspect of the impacts between wheels and rails, a Lagrange explicit contact/impact time integrator is proposed. This work has also led to the development of an explicit–implicit HATI (Heterogeneous Asynchronous Time Integrator) for contact/impact dynamics. This method allows us to adopt an explicit contact/impact time integrator in the contact area and an implicit time integrator with a coarse mesh in the rest of the domain. Finally, a co-simulation demonstrator between Cast3M and Europlexus softwares is set up to show the very significant gain in computation time for a three-dimensional finite element model of an industrial bridge crane.

Návrh a kalkulace cen vybraných stropních konstrukcí / Design and calculation of prices of selected ceiling structures

Chmelařová, Kateřina January 2018 (has links)
This final thesis discuss about design, calculation and efficient choice of ceiling construction. The goal is to optimize the design of the building in order to minimize construction and operation costs, to meet the required purpose and to meet a certain quality standard. The effort to achieve this goal is based on the theory that a family house may not be designed in a single design system. In the practical part, three types of ceiling construction are designed for the selected RD. The result of the study is to determine the most appropriate option for a family house using value analysis and budget price.

Zastřešení objektu pro společenské účely / Roof structure of construction for social purposes

Bašista, Ján January 2013 (has links)
The work treats the static recalculation of an existing roof structure of a construction for social purposes and proposes two variants of the design of a new roof structure. The construction has a rectangular ground plan of 30 m x 47 m and the roof structure is placed on the load bearing circumference concrete walls. Except for the load constituted by the function of the construction and by the climatic area, an extra load of 2 tons suspended at any place of the structure is considered because of the special requirement of working and technological equipment. The variant no. 1 is designed from the steel S355. The variant no. 2 is designed as a combination of the wood GL24h and the aluminium EN-AW 5083. Both of the variants have 11 transverse load bearing girders. The purlins are perpendicular to the girders and are placed on them. Stiffness is secured by roof stiffeners.

Návrh předpjatého komorového mostu / Design of prestressed box gireder bridge

Hofírek, Radovan January 2013 (has links)
This thesis deals with bridging of a lowland valley and the creek Dolanský in the section Jánovce – Jablonov on the Slovak motorway D1. Four variants of the bridge have been developed. Subsequently prestressed single box gilder with large overhangs that are supported by precast struts was selected as the most suitable variant. The construction of the bridge will take place in a formwork suspended on overhead launching scaffolding. The static assessment according to the Europan standard has been drawn up for this variant. The load of the bridge is projected according to the ČSN EN 1991-2 - Traffic loads on bridges and the dimensoin of concrete structures according to the ČSN EN 1992-2 - Concrete bridges - Design and detailing rules. The calculation of load is done using computer software SCIA Engineer 10.1 and Midas Civil.
