Koncept bazální stimulace z pohledu sester pracujících na anesteziologicko-resuscitačním oddělení / The concept of basal stimulation from the point of view of nurses working on Anaesthesiology and Resuscitation Facility

Kycltová, Pavlína January 2016 (has links)
Introduction: The dissertation of "The concept of basal stimulation from the point view of nurses working on Anaesthesiology and Resuscitation facility", discusses the matters of specifics and issues when it comes to providing a basal stimulation process within patient's hospitalization in a resuscitation unit. Patients in very complicated health conditions are hospitalized in a resuscitation unit, very often with symptoms of impaired consciousness. The concept of basal stimulation could very likely help patients' communication with other environment, with accepting and perceiving the actual situation as well as with recovering itself. The point of this dissertation is to chart the real and actual problematics of the basal stimulation used within resuscitation units, and also how nurses working in these units are bringing the concept to bear within their practice. Research methods and results: There are qualitative results posted within the empiric part of the research, as well as interviews with ten general educated nurses working in a resuscitation unit. All the results are collated and analysed in the final discussion after literal transcription of all the interviews. The result of which is, that the general educated nurses see the biggest issue when it comes to providing a basal stimulation...

Stimulace zón používaných při reflexní lokomoci pomocí proudu TENS / Stimulation of the zones used during reflex locomotion by TENS

Vodňanská, Markéta January 2011 (has links)
Thesis title: Stimulation of the zones used during reflex lokomotion by the TENS Name: Markéta Vodňanská The aim of the thesis: The aim of this thesis is to determine, whether is activated the appropriate locomotor pattern during Vojta reflex locomotion - reflexive crawling, when TENS is used for a stimulation of trigger zones, as it is during manual stimulation of trigger zones for reflexive crawling. Method: The essence of this study is the stimulation of trigger zones used in the reflex locomotion manually and by transcutaneous electrical nerve stimulation (TENS) at a frequency of 30 Hz and 182 Hz. Six probands participated in this experiment. During the manual and TENS stimulation was scanned electrical activity in selected muscles by surface electromyography. First, it was evaluated the order of activation of selected muscles, using "standard timing" analysis by MyoResearch XP Master program. Second, it was evaluated the crawling reflex locomotion pattern visually. Results: It was confirmed, that the crawling reflex locomotion pattern, which is provoked by manual stimulation of trigger zones, is provoked by TENS stimulation as well, using the same trigger zones. It follows that the vector of direction and pressure during manual stimulation of trigger zones is not necessary for recall of the...

Stimulační programy pro předškoláky a děti s odloženou školní docházkou / Stimulation programs for preschoolers and children with postponded school attendance

Gottwaldová, Kristýna January 2013 (has links)
The thesis is dedicated to stimulations programs for preschool children and children with postponed schooling. The work is divided into five chapters. The first few chapters are focused on the information which is necessary for understanding the topic. These are about a psychological definition of pre-school age, as well as the issue of entering into a school, followed by a chapter about diagnostics, which usually come before the stimulation. Another chapter is focused on the actual stimulations programs, it contains their theoretical description, but also the information needed to create them. In the fifth chapter, an example of stimulation program was created. Its functionality is supported by the observations at the beginning of the program and during the program. The aim is to make a guide about creating of stimulation programs in the frame of the preschool preparation.

Využití elektroléčebných proudů v reflexní lokomoci / The use of therapeutic currents in reflex locomotion

Rotterová, Jitka January 2013 (has links)
Thesis title: The use of therapeutic currents in reflex locomotion Name: Jitka Rotterová The aim of the thesis: The aim of this thesis is to determine, whether the appropriate locomotor pattern is activated during Vojta reflex locomotion - reflexive crawling, when Russian stimulation is used for a stimulation of trigger zones, as it is during manual stimulation of these trigger zones, and if the electrical potential will spread to the distant locations of the body. Method: Pilot study of experimentally descriptive character. The essence of this study is the stimulation, of heel zone and zone on medial epicondyle of the femur used in the reflex locomotion manually and by electrical current. Four probands participated in this experiment. During the manual and electrical stimulation activity in selected muscles was scanned by surface electromyography. First, order of activation of selected muscles was evaluated using "standard timing" analysis by MyoResearch XP Master program. Second, the frequency spectrum was evaluated in the same program. Results: The experiment shows that the stimulation of trigger zones of Vojta reflex locomotion by stimulating with Russian current can evoke motor response that corresponds to the locomotor pattern of reflexive crawling. Timing of activity of the muscles monitored...

Střelcová, Martina January 2018 (has links)
1 ABSTRACT This diploma issue brings the new knowledge from the physiotherapeutical and special educational intervention like diagnostics and therapy by multiple disabeled child with Dandy-Walker syndrom. Therapeutical method which we deals with is called TheraSuit. One of the aims of this work is to find out which areas of the psychomotor development is primary focused on TheraSuit. We would like to know what is its advantage over the use of standard rehabilitation techniques in outpatient care. Research methods are semistructured interview with the mother of the respondent, observation, special educational and physiotherapeutic diagnostics and aplication of their techniques. Effectiveness of these remedial procedures we are verifying by standardized tests, kineziological analyzes, assesements of self-sufficiency and gross motors skills at the end of every rehabilitation. This research confirms efficiency of exercises with TheraSuit Method particurally in speed of locomotion development by our respondent. However it is not possible to neglect of outpatient treatment with the use of usual therapeutic process especially because of their easy application at home. Regural health physiotherapeutic and special educational activity is the foundation of succsess of every rehabilitaion. KEY WORDS Stimulation,...

Zavádění konceptu Bazální stimulace na chirurgické oddělení / Introducing the concept of basal stimulation in the surgical department

FRÜHAUFOVÁ, Hana January 2016 (has links)
The concept of basal stimulation is currently one of the most popular concepts in nursing care. Basal stimulation is intended for people with changes in perception and communication. The aim of this thesis was to map the use of basal stimulation in the surgical department of the district hospital of South Bohemia. Furthermore, I investigated the possibilities of using this concept for restless patients hospitalized in a standard surgical ward. The last goal was to determine whether basal stimulation effects medical treatment. The topic of the thesis was researched using expert sources. The research part uses methods of qualitative research. The research was conducted in four phases. The research showed that respondents have little knowledge of the concept of basal stimulation, but showed interest in it during the implementation its elements. The surgical ward, where the research has been conducted, currently does not use any elements of basal stimulation, nor is it being used in the hospital itself. During the research in the surgical ward, only two elements of the basal stimulation were implemented, the application of which is summarized in the tables showing the results of stimulation in the individual case reports. Patients showed both verbally and nonverbally increased levels of well-being, peacefulness, relief and comfort during stimulation. Nurses who participated in the research and monitored the patients also held this view. The third focus of the research did not provide unambiguous data. I focused only on the treatment of pain, the area in which the data obtained proved to be insufficient. It would be appropriate to expand the scope of the study in this respect, using both qualitative and quantitative methods.

Komparace ošetřovatelské péče o apalicky nemocné v domácí a ústavní péči z pohledu pečujícího / Comparison of nursing care about apallic patients in domestic and institutional care from carer?s viewpoint

SOUSEDÍKOVÁ, Zuzana January 2011 (has links)
As a result of urgent medicine acceleration and neurosurgery care improvement individuals that had minimum chance of life saving in the past survive brain insults. Increasing occurrence of people with apallic syndrome is a consequence of this progress. This thesis compares domestic and institutional care of apallic people. It examines whether the care quality and complexity are comparable. As the domestic care is more economical for the government it has to be supported in the times of insufficient funds for health care. Quantitative research technique of non-standardized interview was used for data collection. The research sample consisted of six healthcare workers and six family members caring for apallic patients. One respondent had a son in institutional care, however she took him temporarily to domestic care. Questions for healthcare staff and for caring family members were prepared separately. The results show that apallic patients in domestic care achieve substantially better results. The physical load is comparable, mental load is higher for family members. The basal stimulation, which is extremely important for apallic patients, is purposefully applied in institutional care only, as it is provided by trained staff there. The results of this work were presented at the 4th National Student Conference organized by the Faculty of Healthcare Studies of the Pardubice University. The data are published in the proceedings: SOUSEDÍKOVÁ, Zuzana. Comparison of nursing care about apallic patients in domestic and institutional care. In VI. National Student Scientific Conference of Bachelor and Master Programmes General Nurse, Midwife, Healthcare Rescuer, Nursing. Pardubice: Pardubice University, 2011. p. 18. ISBN 978-80-7395-391-1. The thesis will also be provided to the Cerebrum Association, which is going to publish it on its website and provide it to its clients, who are in touch with patients after brain injury. Distribution of this work among people having individuals with insulted brain around is the best way how to highlight the urgency of the problem.

Ovlivnění spasticity u pacietnů s roztroušenou sklerózou metodou elektrické stimulace dle Jantsche / Influence of spasticity in patients with multiple sclerosis using method of electrical stimulation according to Jantsch

Pokorná, Anna January 2018 (has links)
The electrical stimulation (ES) according to Jantsch was created with a primary aim to reduce spasticity, however its impact has been neither proved nor disproved by any study. Therefore, the aim of the thesis is to find out if this type of the ES can reduce spasticity of m. triceps surae within the patients with multiple sclerosis (MS). Apart from the spasticity, there was as well observed the influence of the ES on an active movement performed by the antagonists of spastic muscle and the walking speed. Fifteen probands participated in our pilot controlled non- randomized study, probands were divided into two groups - first with the application of the ES (STIM) and second without the application of the ES (NOSTIM) during the hospitalization. We used the concept of Jean-Michel Graciese - Five-step clinical assessment in spastic paresis during the examination process. From this protocol, we choose Tardieu scale to measure spasticity, examination to measure active range of motion and 10MWT. Furthermore, TUG was added. The measurements took place on the 1st, 4th and 8th day of the hospitalization. The intragroup difference was evaluated by the ANOVA for repetitive measures with Fisher's post- hoc test and the level of importance p=0.05. From acquired data it follows that the ES according to Jantsch...
