The first four chapters deal with theoretical background in the area of functional assessments of vision, visual stimulation and description of the group of children in early and preschool age with visual and multiple disabilities. Last but not least, these chapters also deal with organizations that provide early intervention services, their structure, composition of personnel and range of offered services. The content of the fifth chapter is a qualitative research investigation. The data were collected through interviews with instructors of visual stimulation and with an early intervention assistant. Title: Therapeutic intervention of low back pain - comparing of two therapeutic approaches Objectives: The main objective of this experimental study was to compare two therapeutic approaches: Sensorimotor stimulation by Janda Vávrová and Proprioceptive neuromuscular facilitation in patients with low back pain. Methods: Experimental comparative study aimed at comparing the effect of Proprioceptive neuromuscular facilitation method of Kabat and Sensorimotor stimulation by Jandy and Vávrová in patients with chronic low back pain. The probands were selected from among patients of private healthcare facilities Medi-centre Skalka s.r.o. The assessment of pain, we used a standardized questionnaire Oswestry. The data will be processed using statistical method Mann-Whitney U test. Results: The study showed no significant difference in treatment effect low back pain between Sensorimotor stimulation method by Janda and Vávrová and Proprioceptive neuromuscular facilitation. Keywords: Proprioceptive neuromuscular facilitation, Sensorimotor stimulation by Janda Vávrová, low back pain.

STUDIUM ZÁKLADNÍCH MECHANISMŮ PERITONEÁLNÍHO ZÁNĚTU U CANDÁTA OBECNÉHO (Sander lucioperca)

CHÁBERA, Jan January 2019 (has links)
Pike-perch (Sander lucioperca) is a species of fish whose breeding in recirculation systems has a great prospect in the years to come. Due to the unfavorable conditions of intensive rearing of these fish in recirculation systems, they are often exposed to stress resulting in reduced fish defenses. Thus, fish are exposed to attack of a wide range of bacteria. Although there are preventive measures to protect fish against pathogen attack, knowledge of the immune system and the immune response of the fish is crucial for further evolution of vaccination. Even though we know the mechanisms of immune response of many fish species, but the knowledge of the pike-perch's immune response is very limited.

DVOŘÁKOVÁ, Markéta January 2017 (has links)
The quality of employees is the most important criterion for the success of any company. However, to allow people to exploit their potential, it is necessary to motivate them. Motivation in the workplace essentially determines the quality of work. Globally successful companies devote more resources and efforts to improving their motivational system. Therefore the objective of this diploma thesis is the analysis of the performance of employees in connection with their motivation. The objective is also the research of the motivational system and the different forms of stimulation in the chosen company including the analysis of corporate culture. This research survey required a study of basic theoretical concepts related with working performance, motivating employees to better perform at the workplace, using appropriate stimulus means, interpersonal relations in the workplace and corporate culture. The performance of employees in connection with their motivation was analysed by using statistical methods (Pearson's correlation coefficient and Student's paired t-test) and by using labor productivity in comparison with the average wage. Motivation at the workplace was examined through a observation, interviews and a structured questionnaire with taking into account motivational profiles of employees. Corporate culture was analyzed through a system of symbols and test VSM and TBSD. Based on the data and its analysis, problem areas were defined and appropriate recommendations were made. These recommendations should contribute to the improvement of motivation, followed by greater work efficiency in the company.

Kovandová, Zuzana January 2018 (has links)
My theses deals with the use of basal stimulation concept in the treatment of students with combined disabilities in special elementary schools in Czech Republic. The theoretical part includes literary research concerning basal stimulation concept - its origins, development and theoretical foundations and it describes its specific elements and their use in educational programmes for specialized elementary schools. The practical part concentrates on the quantitative survey research with the goal to map the use of the basal stimulation concept in the specialized elementary schools in Czech Republic to find out which specific elements are in the educational process used the most. Survey research discovered that in the educational process with students with serious combined disabilities the concept of basal stimulation is used by 80% of schools. The somatic, vibrational, auditory and tactile-haptic stimulation are used the most. The specific elements used are - somatic massage, adjustment of the position, use of music and use of tactile perception in motor stimulation of the hand.

Váhové změny u pacientů s Pakinsonovou nemocí, kteří byli léčeni hlubokou mozkovou stimulací. / Weight changes in patients with Parkinson's disease treated with Deep Brain Stimulation.

Undus, Lucie January 2018 (has links)
1 Abstract Body weight changes have been described in the course of Parkinson's disease (PD) as well as following bilateral deep brain stimulation of the subthalamic nucleus (STN DBS) performed in advanced PD. According to the literature weight changes occur in 50-100% of patients who undergo STN DBS. In the last 15 years extensive efforts have been put in understanding the underlying mechanisms behind the weight changes following STN DBS in advanced PD patients however many sources still report conflicting evidence. Improved motor status, reduction in dyskinesias, decrease in energy expenditure, dopaminergic medication reduction, modification of food intake, hormonal factors, regional effects of stimulation were all speculated to cause this weight gain. We hypothesized that patients who underwent STN DBS procedure in our center would gain weight as reported in the literature (study 1, study 2). The etiology of post STN DBS weight gain has not been fully elucidated up to date, in our second study we further hypothesized that the weight changes are due to dysregulation of food related hormones and parameters (study 2). In the third study we hypothesized that weight gain is associated with position of active electrode contact (study 3). Aims of the study: The primary aims of our studies were to assess body...
