Lokální aktéři procesu suburbanizace na příkladu Českých Budějovic / Local stakeholders of the suburbanization process in the case of České Budějovice

Čejková, Eva January 2012 (has links)
The thesis deals with identification of local actors of a residential suburbanization. The main interest of this work is suburban area of the town České Budějovice, which is in this post- socialistic period undergoing intensive residential construction and population development. The tools, which could possibly control this process (to prevent its negativ impacts and on the other hand to support its positives) are very limited. The most important tool for controlling the development of the territory (which is municipal plan) is available to particular municipalities. However it indicates now that the attitude of the municipalities towards town and country planning is rather "difficult". Councils are under a big pressure of the individual builders, landowners and also developers, who require expansion of the usable territories for more building. The councils usually comply those requirements and they are willing to change the municipal plan. From communities point of view and also from metropolitan region point of view can such steps lead to too fast and extensive building development with series of negative impacts. In the thesis there is an intention to document this inappropriate suburbanization development by a case study of the village Srubec, which is affected by so called urban sprawl impacts. The...

Suburbanizace venkovského prostoru (případová studie Dolní Třebonín). / Suburbanization of rural space (case study of the village Dolní Třebonín)

DRŠKOVÁ, Markéta January 2015 (has links)
This diploma work consists of two parts. The theoretic part literary summary deals with the question of suburbanization and the practical part, in which the survey of suburbanization in model area Dolní Třebonín was conducted. In the theoretical part, I firstly mention the types of suburbanization, where we can distinguish residential and commercial suburbanization. Secondly I talk about phases of urbanization process. The previously mentioned suburbanization is a second phases. Then I focus on consequences of suburbanization, which are mostly negative. Due to the fact that process of suburbanization can be regulated I also describe some influential people and institutions that can reduce the negative effects. For a better imagination of developing suburbanization in Czech Republic I also describe the actual situation of this process. In the last chapter of literary summary I point at the problems of migration, which is closely connected with the process of suburbanization. Practical part contains the description of model area and also the evaluation of results taken out of the questionnaire survey. The newly checked results were used to indicate the impacts of suburbanization in the researched area, which was the main aim of my diploma work.

Problematika dostupnosti občanské infrastruktury v suburbanizovaných zónách pražské aglomerace / The issues of accessibility of civic infrastructure in suburbanized zones of Prague agglomeration areas

Hošťálková, Tereza January 2015 (has links)
This master thesis deals with the availability of civic infrastructure in Prague agglomeration areas which were affected by residential suburbanization. Suburbanization process but also the demography of the population affected dynamically growing population which caused many municipalities lack the capacity of civic amenities. The aim of this master thesis is to describe and assess the impact of suburbanization on the scope and availability of civic amenities in the villages located near the capital city of Prague. This paper summarizes the situation in the suburbanized areas of the Czech Republic. However, important parts of the paper are also the theories that address the issue of suburbanization and their influence in other countries. Moreover, case studies that were conducted in two selected villages of the district of Prague-West, in Libčice nad Vltavou and in Horoměřice are included. The analysis show that the inadequate infrastructural facilities are being experienced in large part suburbanized municipalities. Data from available statistical databases and from personal interviews that were conducted with representatives from selected communities were used to compose this paper.

Důsledky suburbanizace pro obec - případová studie obce Velebov / Impacts of suburbanization on a village - case study of Velebov village

Puchálková, Pavla January 2011 (has links)
The process of residential suburbanization, frequently in form of urban sprawl, takes place in the developed countries since mid 18th century. On the other hand, in the Czech Republic it is relatively new phenomenon, heavily appearing since 90s of the 20th century. Although many previous studies were focused on newly built suburbs, all of them took place in the surroundings of the biggest Czech cities. In the first part of the thesis the author sums up historical development of suburbanization's forms (by analyzing the available documents) and focuses especially on modern suburbanization processes in the Great Britain, USA and the Czech Republic, consequences of suburbanization in form of urban sprawl and effect on existence and function of communities in new suburbs. The author then uses a case study approach to study Velebov village (which is the target of suburbanization from Karlovy Vary) and, while using methods of analysis of the documents, qualitative and quantitative interviewing of residents, focuses on composition of inhabitants, social contacts and overall social cohesion within the village. Research findings mostly support results of previous studies and thus imply universality of suburbanization process within the Czech Republic. Composition of new inhabitants is quite different from...

Škola jako rytmizátor každodenního života v zázemí Plzně / School as everyday life pace-maker within the hinterland of Pilsen

Bicanová, Stanislava January 2014 (has links)
The main objective of this thesis is to analyze places and everyday paths of specific actors, that are generated through their repetitive routine activities. These activities are influenced by certain higher order rules - so-called pacemakers, which are dealt with in the thesis. Part of the thesis not only presents some space-time concepts, but also applies them in practice. The work proceeds from a basic concept of a place being structured through life actors themselves who create such place. These concept pacemakers play an important role, controlling the course of everyday life of the localized place, as well as the course of an ordinary day in the life of the actor. The institution of primary school becomes the main pacemaker and represents a linking element of all parts. In connection with the ongoing process of suburbanization and the reality of changing lifestyle and demographic composition in the neighborhood of cities, one may observe here certain indication of current changing supralocal influence of primary school pacemakers in Pilsen and its suburbs. The paper also focuses on the analysis of a particular place, the municipality where the individual pacemakers manifest and create the polyrythmicity of place through localized rhythms. Moreover, it also places focus on pacemakers operating...
