Textilní produkce ve starém Egyptě se zaměřením na její doklady z Abúsíru (období 3. a 1. tisíciletí př. Kr) / The ancient Egyptian textile production with the focus on finds from Abusir (Third and First Millennium BC.)

Wollnerová, Dorotea January 2017 (has links)
The aim of the diploma thesis is to examine textile production in old Egypt based on textile findings from the Royal Necropolis in Abusir. In the first part the author deals with technology of production of this material. The main part of the thesis is the analysis of the new textile findings from Abusir, the textile-technological survey and their interpretation. Technological aspects, their evaluation and comparison with findings from other Egyptian sites are then discussed in a separate chapter. Due to the character of evidences, the author focuses on two periods: 3rd and 1st millennium BC. Finally, the various archaeological contexts in which the textiles in Abusir were found and the functions of this material were outlined. Keywords ancient Egypt, textiles, production, Old Kingdom, Third Intermediate Period, Late Period, archaeology, mummification

On the Mechanical Recycling of Woven Fabrics : Improving the Reusable Fibre Yield of Mechanical Methods / Om mekanisk återvinning av naturfiber i vävtextiler

Johansson, Ludvig January 2020 (has links)
This master thesis studies the recycling prospects of textiles. The textile industry contributes negatively to the global environmentthrough the release of greenhouse gases and consumption of resources. In order to achieve a circular textile industry, textiles must be recyclable by both chemical and mechanical means. Here, the focus is on mechanical extraction of staple fibres, particularly cotton, for reentry into yarn production. Experiments show that used, but undamaged, cotton sateen and cotton twill responds differently to abrasion with stochastic surfaces. Previous studies on the conventional shredding processes have shown positive impact from lubricants on extracted fibre lengths, by reducing inter-fibre friction. In the present study on abrasion, variables such as alignment of the weave pattern, lubrication and load are shown to have little to no impact on extracted fibre length, but notable effects on overall fibre quality. These analyses are supported by manual length assessment, electron micrographs and tensile tests using load cells. Furthermore, simple tests and observations on structured diamond surfaces constructed through chemical vapor deposition are promising for mechanical fibre release directly from a woven fabric. Suggestions are made on continued research in this field.

Textilní vlnovod / Textile waveguide

Pelikán, Michal January 2017 (has links)
Diploma thesis is focused on manufacturing process of waveguide filter. Thesis is divided to 8 chapters. There is summarized theory of possible execution of waveguide filter, used materials, their influence and risks during production. Then are described possible steps of realization and necessary relations for its design, simulation and also practical realization. At conclusion are summarized, compared and described reached results.

Možnosti využití textilních materiálů v předmětu Praktické činnosti na 1. stupni ZŠ / Possibilities of Textile Materials in Practical Activities Subject in Primary School

DOLANOVÁ, Klára January 2015 (has links)
The thesis topic is "Possibilities of Textile Materials in Practical Activities Subject in Primary School". The theoretical part is focused on the historical origin and evolution of textiles, summary of textile techniques, sorting and its use mainly with pupils in the primary school. It also deals with project based learning and conceptions, objects and competences of a pupil in the primary school in technical education in czech system of Framework Educational Programme for Elementary Education. In the practical part there are designed textile techniques that are processed into the original teaching projects. The functionality of the project was detected by using questionnaires for teachers of primary school. Some of the projects were realized in teaching in the 2nd, 3rd and 4th year of the primary school.

Komponenty na bázi vlnovodu integrovaného do textilu / Textile Integrated Waveguide Components

Cupal, Miroslav January 2020 (has links)

Turčan, Andrej January 2013 (has links)
Project for the new houses of city library and mediatheque, solves the concept of redesigning the old industry area Sevelin in the city of Lausanne, Switzerland. Here should the new social and education district takes place, what brings a new metropolitan lifestyle. Two objects of library and mediatheque end up the rows of rational city grid at this platform. They define the new open space in between as a new entrance area on the platform Sevelin. It becomes also the extension of library activities to the urban space. Here also the new metro station takes place. Concept of the library – “house in house, city in the city” creates the group of three volumes situated under one roof. The houses of adults’ library, youth library and administration define two atriums in between. Here the life of the whole building meets together. Volume of mediatheque steps up the row and shows the new direction of our culture and media.
