Kulturarvet i textilslöjden : En undersökning om hur textillärare i grundskolan använder sig av kulturarvet i slöjdundervisningen

Karling, Maria January 2006 (has links)

The educational directive for the school subject textile handicraft (slöjd) claim, that the pupils should have knowledge of handicraft traditions from historical and present perspective. Teachers in handicraft, teaching in schools for the first nine years of a child education forwards a cultural heritage. The purpose of this essay is to find out what the teachers opinion is about what constitute the Swedish textile cultural heritage. How the teachers relate to it and how they use it, then teaching. The essay is based on a qualitative method and consists of interviews with teachers. The interviews indicate that the textile cultural heritage consists of old methods for textile handiwork. The teachers also stresses that it is important for the pupils to have knowledge of the history of methods and materials and how it is made. The knowledge of the cultural heritage gives the pupils a possibility to relate to older generations. Therefore there is a potential of combining education in handicraft with for example history, which for the pupils would give a broader perspective. Knowledge of how different methods for creating things used in everyday-life have been used and developed could also increase the understanding of how people have lived.
/

Úprava povrchu textilií pomocí plazmového výboje / Plasma treatment of fabrics

STEHLÍK, Radim January 2019 (has links)
The thesis deals with the surface modification of cotton fabric by low-pressure micro-wave plasma discharge. The main materials used for this experiment are cotton fabrics and hexamethyldisiloxane. The experiment itself is focused on the modification of cotton fabric to improve hydrophobic atributes. An argon process gas was used in the surface modification. The individual treated samples were operated with changes in process gas flow and the time during which the above-mentioned modifications was performed. Two methods were used to analyze the results of the experiment. The first one was aimed at determining changes in hydrophobic atributes in the form of wetta-bility in an unmodified sample compared to other modificated samples using the drop-let method. An electron microscope was used for the subsequent study of possible changes in surface topography. From the point of view of the examined results, the difference in hydrophobic properties was observed when using the droplet method to-gether with the change in the topography of the surface obtained on the electron mi-croscope in the cotton samples examined. The actual evaluation of individual methods points to the desirable changes in modified cotton compared to unmodified cotton. Further information regarding the results of the experiment, depending on the changes in individual parameters in the cotton treatment process using low pressure microwave plasma discharge, are presented in thesis.

The diploma thesis deals with the construction of a textile machine. More specifically, it deals with the construction of a vertical cutter of non-vowen fabrics that are made of polymerous fibres or fibre glass. The surface density of the material used ranges from 100 – 500 g/m2, the width of a role is 2000 mm and the weight is 150 kg. The machine is supposed to be designed in such a way so that the mat roles could be cut in any point.

Projektová výuka ve vzdělávací oblasti Člověk a svět práce / Project instruction in the educational area Man and the World of Work

GAJDOŠÍK, David January 2015 (has links)
This thesis describes the educational system in the Czech Republic. It focuses on project teaching focused on working with textiles. For teachers is being created didactic material, accompanied by a recommendation. The theoretical part describes the basic textile fibers, their characteristics, properties and uses. Proměna odívání v českých zemích husitského období / Transformation of clothing in the Czech lands Hussite period

Feyfrlíková, Monika January 2017 (has links)
The aim of this diploma thesis is to assess (by means of the synthesis of interdisciplinary sciences) whether we could trace any changes in clothing style during a period of Hussit wars with an overlap to the years 1400-1450 on the basis of surviving fragments of historic textiles, visual and material sources with the references to literary documents. The thesis focuses more thoroughly on the earlier development of the structure of male and female pieces of clothing and their possible form in the period of Hussit wars. Specifically, it follows the evolution of the form of both male and female body linen, under garments and outer garments, and it also focuses on head coverings, hose, shoes and accessories of the particular period. The document is enriched by a large variety of pictures attached straight to the text due to better orientation within the written content. At the end there are tables and figures which widely cover the traces of individual parts of garments found in illuminated manuscripts dated back to the delimited period. Key words: clothing, archeological textiles, illumination, Bohemia, Hussite wars, late middle ages.
