Este trabalho contém um diagnóstico do sistema viário e de trânsito de Jaú e um plano de ações visando racionalizar o trânsito de veículos e pedestres na cidade, para proporcionar maior segurança, fluidez e comodidade nos deslocamentos. No tocante ao diagnóstico, é comentada a metodologia utilizada na sua elaboração, apontados os principais problemas detectados e apresentadas algumas informações relevantes obtidas nos levantamentos efetuados. O plano viário e de trânsito proposto para a cidade de Jaú compreende os seguintes projetos: rede viária principal, intervenções pontuais, sistema de trânsito na região central, sinalização de regulamentação e sinalização de orientação. Também são apresentados no trabalho os dispositivos viários que foram implantados para corrigir problemas graves em três interseções, bem como avaliado o desempenho dos mesmos. O trabalho contém ainda uma revisão bibliográfica sintética sobre engenharia de tráfego, bem como algumas considerações consideradas relevantes no contexto do trabalho / This work contains a diagnosis of the road and traffic system of Jaú and a plan of actions in order to improve the traffic of vehicles and pedestrians in the city, to provide greater safety, fluidity and comforts in the displacements. Concerning the diagnosis, the methodology used on its elaboration is commented, the main detected problems are pointed out and some relevant information obtained in the survey carried out is presented. The road and traffic plan proposed for the city of Jaú comprises the following projects: main road network, punctual interventions, traffic system in the central area, regulation signaling and orientation signaling. The road devices that were established to correct serious problems in three intersections are also presented, as well as the performance of them are appraised. The work still contains a synthetic bibliographical revision about traffic engineering, as well as some considerations considered relevant in the context of the work

This thesis is concentrated on the research of recent state of the czech highways. The main aim of this work is to find out the reason of mistaken behaviour of the drivers in traffic. During analyzing further details I concerned myself on four basic factors: the influence of the environment, the influence of the car, what the man does while he is driving and the influence of the man himself on his operating. This work also includes the research of the driver as an individua together with external environment which affects him during the journey. The analysis of the influence of each factor was marked out as a field research on the way with the driver whereas were emphasised his transgressions, his sanity and the influence of the environment on himself. Especially monitoring which leaded to the observation of activities of the man in following aspects: respecting the speed limit, the traffic signs and other highway codes, mental condition of the driver in critical situations. Also the influence of the environment on the man was an important point in this work. Were chosen three segments which negatively affects the man ? the driver and there were proposed solutions to reduce them. The influence of the driver himself was characterized in following part. The analytic part summarizes obtained information from measuring and from the observation which are specified in the experimental part. In final part of this work are emphased any recommendations for fractional parts of the traffic which should lead to the improvement of the system thereby to the improvement of the recent state of this issue.

The purpose of the study was to investigate what preschool children discover in the traffic system. The study is qualitative and has been conducted through an activity and an interview. The activity gave the children an opportunity to investigate a traffic system and its various components, traffic, crosswalk, sidewalk, wells and bus stop. The purpose of the interview was to deeper discuss children’s discoveries during the activity. The study involved a total of four children aged 5-6 years. Four days after the activity an interview was held where we discussed the children’s discoveries in the traffic system. The result shows that after the activity, the children who participated had developed new knowledge about the traffic system based on the other children's experiences and discussions. The result shows the children's ability to acquire knowledge of the traffic system, and their ability to draw their own parallels to their own experiences. The children showed understanding and knowledge of: the traffic lights, the crossing point, the lines in the road, the bus stop and the curbs on the sidewalk. They also developed an understanding that there is water underneath us in the ground, when we discussed the wells in the road. / Syftet med studien är att undersöka vad barn i förskolan upptäcker i trafiksystemet. Studien är kvalitativ och har genomförts med en aktivitet och en intervju. I aktiviteten gavs barnen möjlighet att undersöka ett trafiksystem och dess olika delkomponenter, trafikljus, övergångsställe, trottoar, brunnar och busshållplats. Syftet med intervjun är att diskutera djupare kring de upptäckter barnen gjort vid aktiviteten. I studien deltog sammanlagt fyra barn i 5-6 års ålder. Genom en pedagogiskaktivitet blev barnen introducerade för ett trafiksystem och efter fyra dagar genomfördes en intervju där vi diskuterade kring barnens upptäckter i trafiksystemet. Resultatet grundas på aktiviteten och intervjun som utgår ifrån en analys om vilka likheter de har. Efter aktiviteten hade barnen som deltagit utvecklat nya kunskaper om trafiksystemet utifrån de andra barnens erfarenheter och diskussioner. Resultatet visar på barnens förmåga att ta till sig kunskaper om trafiksystemet, och deras förmåga att dra egna paralleller till egna erfarenheter. Barnen visade förståelse och kunskaper om: trafikljusen, övergångsstället, strecken i vägen, busshållplatsen och kantstenarna på trottoaren.   De utvecklade även en förståelse för att det finns vatten under oss i marken då vi diskuterade brunnarna i vägen.
