The thesis is focused on the assessment of the investment in the transport company by a variety of funding and its impact on capital structure. The operational objective is to evaluate the effect of financial leverage and impact of investments on the financial situation of the company. The investment is viewed from the perspective of market demand capital.

The aim of the submitted thesis ?Discrimination in the labour market? is to analyze the actual state of discrimination in the labor market in the Czech Republic. First part introduces describes the concepts of the theme and the legislation which covers this area. It is then evaluated the unemloyed into the labor market in the Czech Ruublic and comparison with the Europen Union. In conclusion, suggestions are given for possible improvements in favor of reducing discrimination.

Theses is divided in two parts. First part is theoretical. Second part is made by own research and describes results outgoing out of marketing research - by used questionaires.

The main aim of my thesis on the topic "Selected forms of Selling the Organic Food - specialty stores" is to assess the actual state of organic food sales in specialty stores in terms of assortment, conditions and sales culture. Likewise, this work allow the reader to learn what is the difference between Czech and foreign quality organic food, who is a typical customer buying organic food, what are comments of organic food vendors, etc. Furthermore, this theme is dealing with regional sales or sales of fair trade products. In the end, we design measures that would help to further expansion, for example, sales of organic food. The goal is not to extend the organic food popularity, but to make consumers aware of benefits of buying organic food just in speciality stores or in health food stores.

This diploma thesis compares the difference between the inequality of men and women on labour market. This inequality is mainly specify by the difference in salaries. Theoretical part is paying attention to difference in salary, legislative measure of equal pay, gender pay gap index, theories and studies in economics. Practical part of my diploma thesis deals with employment of men and women, analyzes particular factors which affects these salaries differences. Additionally, I focus on position of women in leading and political functions. The last chapter considers differences in salaries between men and women in coun-tries of Visegrad group.

Lefká, I. The influence of macroeconomic indicators on the amount of written premiums in selected EU countries. Diploma thesis. Brno, 2013. The aim of this thesis is to identify macroeconomic variables that affect the amount of written premiums in selected EU countries - the Czech Republic, Germany, Austria and the Slovak Republic. For each country is developed an econometric model that explains the dependence of written premiums to GDP, inflation, unemployment rate and the average wage, following by an economic, statistical and econometric model verification. The data used was obtained from the Sigma statistics of reinsurance company Swiss Re, the European (re)insurance federation (Insurance Europe), the World Bank, the Statistical Office of the European Union (Eurostat), the United Nations Economic Commission for Europe (UNECE) and other expert sources.

The main objective of this diploma thesis is to suggest strategy for Czech wine export companies thinking about the wine export to Lithuania. The next it is necessary to decide or recommend whether these companies would enter to the Lithuanian market wines or not. The strategy has to think about all restrictions not only from Lithuania but to follow the conditions set by the European Union. Based on the analysis of the external environment and the sector of the Lithuanian market, including the maps of competitive groups of wineries in the Czech Republic devising is according GE matrix proposed strategy to enter the Lithuanian market. From an overall assessment of all relevant factors (competitors, substitutes, beer tradition, distance, etc.) the Czech exporters will have no long-term exporting chances in the Lithuanian market. According to this reason is recommended not to enter this market.

Slezak, J. Factors influencing the maize market in the Czech Republic. Diploma thesis. Brno: MENDELU in Brno, 2013. This diploma thesis deals with econometrical modelling of the maize market in the Czech Republic. It includes regression equations of supply, demand and price of maize in the Czech Republic, which are interpreted and compared with the results of foreign studies. The thesis is supplemented with an analysis of the development of global, European and domestic markets for the period from 1992 to 2012. The ordinary least squares method was used to estimate the models.

The aim of the thesis is to assess the position of women in the labour market in the Czech Republic compared to other EU countries. The theoretical part of the thesis, which is mainly used to familiarize with the terms, is divided into the following topics: labour market, gender and equal opprotunities policy. In the practical part are analysed pure statistical data, which are presented the situation of women in the labour market in the Czech Republic, in regions of the Czech Republic and in European union, where data from the Czech Republic are compared with other EU member states. The obtained data were processed into graphs and tables.
