The thesis is focused on the general level of education of secondary school students, especially in terms of its stability, or vice versa its changes. The attention is paid to the most important factors involved in the process of education and general knowledge and skills of today´s students. The thesis sets out to meet the theoretical bases of education and then present the resulting theory, which is based on qualitative survey. The theoretical part deals with the definition of education, their functions and defining the main institutions and factors, which are involved in the education learning process. The practical part is based on a qualitative survey, which was conducted through structured interviews with open questions that were carried out with secondary school teachers from different types of schools. The data collected from these interviews was examined by grounded theory, and then analysed. This thesis, in the practical part, shows a new theory explaining the surveyed area.

The thesis deals with the use of equipment and tools in physical education at the first grade of primary school. The theoretical section is devoted to the content of gymnastic lessons, its history, equipment and tools used in lessons, importance and kinds of equipment and tools utilized. All this is complemented by recently introduced equipment and tools, which are available. Besides, I have specified methods of their use in day to day education. In the Investigation and Research section, I have used questionnaires and to complementary technique controlled interviews with teachers of gymnastics and also with vendors selling of equipment and tools. By using above mentioned methods, I discovered that teachers use gymnastic equipment and tools in almost every lesson despite all obstacles to exercise an ideal gymnastic lesson. The biggest obstacles in day to day life to a ideal gymnastic lesson are small gyms, the low number of available equipment and tools, limited number of lessons and especially resulting from limited financial resources to overcome those problems. In this work I have been focusing on the educational use of textbooks, especially natural history textbooks, for sex education by the teachers of selected schools. First, I conducted a theoretical introduction to the issue of textbooks and teaching sex education. Then my interviews with teachers examined how sex education is taught and whether the teachers use their textbooks as teaching aid. I have thoroughly analysed these interviews, from which I then draw my conclusions: how textbooks are used as a teaching aid and the impact of the quality of textbooks on their use. Furthermore, I conducted my subjective evaluation of the textbooks that teachers said they use. I compared this review to the evaluation of teachers, so I could carry out a discussion of these views. As the result of my work I find that some of the teachers participating in my research use the textbook as teaching aid, some not. Their decision is not affected by the quality of the topic in the textbooks. Of much greater importance is the form of sex education the teacher chooses and how the topic is being explained. The thesis discusses the use of non-tradicional utilities in physical education classes at 1st grade of elementary school. The theoretical part deals with the development of school-aged child in terms of physiological, psychological and social, TV in RVP. Furthermore, the motivation of the child, the meaning and function of the game in his world, recycling waste and unconventional tools. In the practical part comes to finding what tools teachers use most often, how much use non-tradicional utilities in their classes, verifying games with non-tradicional utilities in practice and create collection of games as an inspiration for teachers. Furthermore there is also a comparison of activities of children in hours with traditional and non- traditional utilities.
