Pet shops are included in this group, firms whose activities are directed to the sale and marketing of pets, a segment with a significant rate of growth, indeed one that is higher than GDP (gross domestic product), a fact that triggered the present study, particularly when the subject is linked to the market strategy of survival and expansion, as the figures show that these businesses have a high rate of insolvency in a short period of time. During the study – a qualitative and descriptive one – an attempt was made to identify the strategies used by the market leaders in the Metropolitan Region of Recife (MRR). The initial hypothesis was that only a professionalized quality management offering differential services could guarantee the maintenance and growth of companies in this sector, in a market that is not only growing but is also extremely demanding and characterized by a clientele that is highly educated and with great purchasing power, in addition to a strong emotional attachment to its pets. The present case study covered five firms in the MRR, all of which have been in business for over 10 years, with an established clientele and turnover regarded as substantial for companies in this sector. Over 100 interviews were conducted, including ones with customers, collaborators at various levels and with different functions within their companies, as well as the owners of the pet shops studied, in an attempt to identify their view of the future regarding the progression of the market in the face of intensifying competition, with the prospect of large national and international chains entering this segment. The results point to client satisfaction, which is explained by three basic factors: convenience, understood as the location of the shop and safety, adding value to the client’s perception of the business; excellence in the service provided (the affection and zeal displayed by the employees when receiving the animal and throughout the attendance, always closely observed by the owner); and the diverse nature of the products and services (clinical attendance, feeding and beautification). As regards the strategies employed, the segmentation of the market was identified as a variable of major importance for the success of the company. The study ends with a synthesis by means of a SWOT analysis, in which the main strengths and weaknesses of the companies studied are identified, as well as the threats posed by the competitive environment and the resulting opportunities. / As micro e pequenas empresas no Brasil são consideradas responsáveis por parte significativa da economia gerando emprego e renda. Neste grupo, estão incluídos os pet shops, empresas que têm suas atividades direcionadas à comercialização de produtos e serviços para animais de estimação, um segmento com taxas de crescimento significativas, acima do Produto Interno Bruto (PIB), fato que motivou este estudo, principalmente quando o assunto está ligado à estratégia de mercado para sobreviver e crescer, uma vez que as estatísticas demonstram um alto índice de insolvência dessas empresas, em pouco tempo, Durante esta pesquisa - de natureza qualitativa e descritiva - buscou-se identificar as estratégias utilizadas pelas empresas líderes de mercado na Região Metropolitana do Recife (RMR). Partiu-se da hipótese de que somente uma gestão profissionalizada com serviços diferenciados e de qualidade poderia responder pela manutenção e pelo crescimento das empresas no setor, em um mercado que cresce, mas altamente exigente e caracterizado por um público com elevado grau de instrução, poder aquisitivo, além de emotivo em relação ao seu pet. A pesquisa, caracterizada como estudo de caso, abrangeu cinco empresas da RMR, todas com mais de 10 anos de atuação, consolidadas junto à sua clientela e faturamento considerado importante para as empresas do ramo. Foram realizadas mais de 100 entrevistas, incluindo clientes externos, colaboradores de diversos níveis e funções dentro das empresas, como também os proprietários dos pet shops estudados, buscando-se identificar sua visão de futuro quanto à evolução do mercado, frente a uma concorrência que começa a se intensificar, com perspectivas de entrada de grandes redes nacionais e internacionais nesse segmento. Os resultados apontaram a satisfação do cliente, explicada por três fatores básicos: conveniência, entendida como localização da loja e segurança, agregando valor na percepção do cliente; excelência no atendimento (o carinho e o zelo demonstrados pelo colaborador na recepção do animal e durante todo o atendimento, sempre muito fiscalizado pelo proprietário); e a diversificação de produtos e serviços (atendimento clínico, alimentação e embelezamento). Quanto às estratégicas empregadas, identificou-se a segmentação de mercado como variável de grande importância para o sucesso da empresa. A pesquisa é finalizada endereçando-se uma síntese por meio de uma análise SWOT, na qual são identificadas as principais forças e fraquezas das empresas estudadas, bem como as ameaças do ambiente competitivo e as oportunidades resultantes.

El proyecto Complejo veterinario para animales menores en La Molina, se desarrolla ante la falta de una infraestructura adecuada para la atención y tratamiento de animales domésticos en la ciudad de Lima. Tiene como finalidad mostrar un prototipo de complejo veterinario que pueda satisfacer las necesidades del cliente y de su mascota. El proyecto tiene un énfasis en permeabilidad lo cual muestra la importancia de que al tener mascotas como usuarios junto con sus dueños, estos no deben sentirse “prisioneros” sino más bien, tener el mayor contacto posible con áreas verdes para su recreación. El programa está organizado según necesidades y flujos: Lo público se encuentra al frente del proyecto y lo semipúblico en la parte posterior. Consta de cinco paquetes funcionales: Clínica veterinaria, Centro de adopción, Hospedaje para mascotas, SUM o zona de adiestramiento y el paquete de servicios ubicado en el sótano. / The Veterinary Complex for minor animals project in La Molina is developed due to the lack of an adequate infrastructure for the care and treatment of domestic animals in the city of Lima. Its purpose is to show a prototype of a veterinary complex that can meet the needs of the client and their pet. The project has an emphasis on permeability which shows the importance of having pets as users together with their owners, they should not feel "prisoners" but rather, have as much contact as possible with green areas for recreation. The program is organized according to needs and flows: The public is at the front of the project and the semi-public at the back. The anti-inflammatories no esteroidais (AINEs) they are the drugs of larger prescription all over the world, for humans and for animals. They combat the inflammation, the pain, the temperature increase, could also inhibit the aggregation plaques. They act inhibiting the production of the acid araquidônico and ciclooxigenases (COXs) decreasing like this, the prostaglandins production. They become separated in inhibitors no selective for COX-1 and 2, being those the most traditional; and in selective inhibitors for COX-2, considered more modern drugs. AINEs no selective they reduce the production of all of PGs, constituent or not. Already the selective ones just inhibit harmful PGs, that you/they act in the inflammatory reaction, preserving PGs that maintains, for instance, the protection to the stomach and the renal perfusão. In that study the hepatic function of Rattus norvegicus was evaluated after the use of AINE no selective, cetoprofeno and of selective AINE, valdecoxib. The doses administered to the animals were calculated according to the scaling allometric. The allometric is a method that allows to extrapolate dosage indications of more common species and known for species where studies farmacokinects of the drug was not accomplished in subject, taking into account, among other, the corporal size, the metabolism and the basal tax. After the use of AINEs, the animals were appraised for biochemical methods of alanina amino transferase (ALT), aspartato amino transferase (AST) and alkaline fosfatase (FA), and also, for macroscopic and microscopic evaluation of the liver and right kidney, in different times, after you finish them administrations of the drugs, according to the group which the animal belonged. Among other observations it can be told, that the cetoprofeno, can cause the death of mice, according to the allometric already in the second day of administration of the drug; and that the AINE valdecoxib, doesn't produce macroscopic and microscopic alterations worthy of note, in organs as the liver and kidney of Rattus norvegicus / Os antiinflamatórios não esteroidais (AINEs) são as drogas de maior prescrição em todo o mundo, tanto para humanos como para animais. Combatem a inflamação, a dor, a hipertermia, podendo também inibir a agregação plaquetária. Atuam inibindo a produção do ácido araquidônico e ciclooxigenases (COXs) diminuindo assim, a produção de prostaglandinas. Dividem-se em inibidores não seletivos para COX-1 e 2, sendo esses os mais tradicionais; e em inibidores seletivos para COX-2, considerados drogas mais modernas. AINEs não seletivos diminuem a produção de todas as PGs, constitutivas ou não. Já os seletivos inibem apenas as PGs deletérias, que atuam na reação inflamatória, preservando PGs que mantém, por exemplo, a proteção ao estômago e a perfusão renal. Nesse estudo avaliou-se a função hepática de Rattus norvegicus após a utilização do AINE não seletivo, cetoprofeno e do AINE seletivo, valdecoxib. As doses administradas aos animais foram calculadas segundo a escala alométrica. A alometria é um método que permite extrapolar indicações posológicas de espécies mais comuns e conhecidas para espécies onde não foram realizados estudos farmacocinéticos da droga em questão, levando em conta, entre outros, o tamanho corporal, o metabolismo e a taxa basal. Após a utilização dos AINEs, os animais foram avaliados por métodos bioquímicos de alanina amino transferase (ALT), aspartato amino transferase (AST) e fosfatase alcalina (FA), e também, por avaliação macroscópica e microscópica do fígado e rim direito, em diferentes tempos, após as ultimas administrações das drogas, conforme o grupo a qual o animal pertencia. Entre outras observações pode-se relatar, que o cetoprofeno, pode causar a morte de ratos, segundo a alometria já no segundo dia de administração da droga; e que o AINE valdecoxib, não produz alterações macroscópicas e microscópicas dignas de nota, em órgãos como o fígado e rim de Rattus norvegicus

The aim of the diploma thesis is to prepare documentation for construction. The building is partially basement and in terms of building physics is designed as a building with almost zero energy consumption. For the purpose of the work is chosen multifunctional object, which consists of veterinary clinic and shop with pet supplies. The building land is located in the cadastral area of Brno-Královo Pole in a built-up area designated for mixed areas of trade and services on a relatively flat plot no. 4800/28 on Edisonova Street. The new building is located on the southeast side of the property, which is followed by parking from the northwest side. The purpose, appearance and volume of the building do not interfere in any way with the character of the territory. Veterinary clinic is partially basement with two floors. In the basement is a technical background for the whole multifunctional building. On the first floor is a waiting room with a reception and two examination rooms, an office and a changing room for employees. On the floor are specialized workplaces, X-ray, ultrasonographic, otoscopic, laboratory and operating room together with hospitalization for animals. The shop with pet supplies is designed as a single storey, consisting of a sale area with a warehouse and facilities for employees. The southeast facade is covered with expanded metal. The construction system of the building is wall-mounted, made of ceramic bricks for thin-layer mortar. Ceiling constructions are designed from large-area filigree panels. The roof is vegetational.

The thesis solves the processing of a project documentation of a veterinary clinic in Nachod. The project and attachments are processed in accordance with current laws, regulations and standards. The Veterinary Clinic is located on parcels č.122 / 3 and 122/4, which are parts of the cadastral municipality Nachod. Near the land under the adjoining local roads, there are utilities routed. In the building of veterinary clinic, there will be 2 surgeries, 2 operating rooms, laboratory, pharmacy, grocery breeders and editorial office. Veterinary Clinic is a two-storey building with a rectangular ground plan with dimensions of approximately 40 x 19 meters. The building has 3 main entrances. Admission to the clinic and store are situated on the northwestern side. Entry into the pharmacy and the editorial office, which is located on the 2nd floor, are on the southeast side. The supporting wall system is made of aerated concrete, ceiling is made of reinforced concrete. On the building's flat roof with reinforced concrete supporting structure.

Diploma thesis Veterinary Clinic is compiled in the form of project documentation. The building is situated in the city of Pardubice. The building will be made from POROTHERM blocks with ventilated facade with the mineral heat insulation. The ceilings will be made of reinforced concrete. One part of the building has lean-to roof and second part has flat roof with vegetation on the top of it. The project emphasizes layout, static, fire safety, acoustic, energy savings and user safety solutions. The building has two floors, of which the second one is receding. On the first floor there are two consulting rooms with shared waiting room, operating room, x-ray, laboratory, post-op care and technical background. On the second floor there are facilities for employees, such as dressing room, daytime room, kitchen and office. The thesis includes specializations – Building services - Ventilation and air conditioning and Concrete constructions

This diploma thesis deals with veterinary clinics in Prostejov. The building is secluded on almost flat land. The building has a simple rectangular shape, replicating the street, with a receding second floor. The building is brick, two-storey, basement, covered with a flat roof and green roof terrace. On the first floor are situated surgeries, surgeries, operating rooms, facilities for employees and utility room. On the second floor there is a pet shop, counseling, treatment plant dog, sanitary facilities for public office and facilities for temporary accommodation of employees, where it is possible to get to the green roof terrace. The building is insulated, partially with white plaster and partly with wooden facade panels. The building is in part intended for the general public designed wheelchair.
