O que Freud dizia sobre as mulheres.

Molina, José Artur. January 2010 (has links)
It appears the psychoanalysis that found at this moment and this place privileged conditions for its birth. Freud constructed a unique theory with concepts like unconscious, instinct and a method which included the listening, the free association and the transference. Hysterics were the protagonists of this creation. The intent and solidary look of Freud finds the reason of the suffering of them: the restriction of their desires. Psychoanalysis has revolutionized the treatment of hysteria but in proposing the concept of feminine encloses a phallic logic. Thus, following the advice of the master, we were looking at politics, society of Vienna, the literature of Schnitzler and the painting of Klimt to understand why the phallic insistence of the creator of psychoanalysis / Doutor

Apocalipse alegre: configurações do indivíduo moderno em Leutnant Gustl. / Joyful apocalypse: modern individual settings in Leutnant Gustl

Vicini, Lorena Andrea Garcia Pereira 15 June 2011 (has links)
This dissertation aims to analyze the novel Leutnant Gustl (1900), by Arthur Schnitzler. The novel, the first to employ the \"stream-of-consciousness\" technique in German, was written in fin-de-siècle Vienna, a period known for its high intellectual and artistic productivity. Owing to a merged policy between the monarchy and the bourgeoisie, the citys government was characterized by a hybridization of values, paradoxical a priori. This heterogeneous compound is reflected in society and the artistic community, resulting in a production in which modern and pre-modern different elements coexist. Thereby, always considering the object as a starting point of analysis, there will be seen to what extent the novel represents the premodern with traits like the defense of honor and the practice of dueling , and other typically modern, as the rise of leisure, the massive consumption and the awareness of individualism. It is in this background that we examine the lieutenant Gustl, character and narrator, by many experts considered a representative of the individual type of Viennese society at the time. Taking his personality and his career as a core line, this study attempts to show the extent to which he is configured as a modern individual, in spite of sustaining, externally, an artificial appearance of pre-modern values, which, through interior monologue, the reader knows it is nothing but a façade. Hence, taking Gustl as a representative of his time, contradictory and earnest of false appearances, it will be investigated his inclusion as an individual in his time.

A Match Made in Heaven or Hell: Historians Debate the Influence of Richard Wagner on Adolf Hitler and the Third Reich.

Shockley, Steven W. 01 December 2001 (has links)
This is an analysis of the contributions of Richard Wagner's ideas to the development of Adolf Hitler as seen by various historians. This author has consulted the works of many different authors to attempt to find the ideological roots of Adolf Hitler. The ideology of Richard Wagner, as seen by some of the most pre-eminent historians of this period, has been applied to the ideas of Hitler to find any continuity between these two men. All historians consulted thought Wagner was, for some more, others, less, a contributor to the development of Adolf Hitler and National Socialism. This author has concluded that Wagner was a contributor, but that Hitler's personal environment was more important to the development of National Socialism. This thesis explores an area into which no one has really delved in depth. Hopefully, this thesis can be a springboard for further research into this area.

Internship at two European Conservation Centres : Geneva, Switzerland, and Vienna, Austria, involving research and practical conservation

Dimitriadis, George D., n/a January 1983 (has links)
In the six months spent at the Musee d'art et d'histoire, Geneva, Switzerland, as a staff member in the dual role of paintings conservator and research conservator, there was achieved an excellent rapport with the staff of the Musee, a work record which was very successful, and research results which were received with enthusiasm, having broad implications for the Musee. Following the two months as a contract conservator in Vienna, research developments were applied in practice, under severe time constraints and the resulting treatment was successfully achieved with the wholehearted support and co-operation of staff and officials, resulting in offers of lectureships and lecture tours for the Academy of Fine Arts - Conservation School, Vienna in Austria and Germany. In evaluative terms, it is considered that the programme met the objectives very well, and in addition the results have potential for part of an ongoing programme of research into fire-damaged paintings and varnish removal, with solid lines of co-operation in the establishments in Europe.

Die Volkswirtschaftslehre an der Hochschule für Welthandel, 1918-1973

Klausinger, Hansjörg 07 1900 (has links) (PDF)
This contribution examines the teaching of economics at the Hochschule für Welthandel as a case study in the evolution of Austrian academic economics in the 20th century. The period considered is divided into three periods - before, under and after the NS-regime. The main focus is on the multiparadigmatic character of the discipline before WWII, on economics under the NS rule, and on the restoration and delayed integration of economics into the international mainstream after 1945. On the personal level, the teaching of economics at the Welthandel was dominated for more than three decades by Walter Heinrich and Richard Kerschagl, whose influence is explored with regard to their academic, scientific and political activities. "Unser Dasein starrt von Büchern": Hugo von Hofmannsthal's Crisis of Authorship

Kim, Hang-Sun 22 October 2012 (has links)
This dissertation traces the development of Hugo von Hofmannsthal's attempts to find solutions to what he perceived to be the crisis of meaning in his time. I focus primarily on Hofmannsthal's fictional letters and poetological reflections from the post-lyrical phase of his career, also touching on his final drama and political speeches. In the 1990s semiotic, structuralist, and poststructuralist studies of Hofmannsthal's texts allowed critics to uncover the more radically modern dimension of his creative process and work, making possible a poetological turn in the scholarship, with critics becoming far more interested in the poetics and aesthetics of Hofmannsthal's writings. Thanks to this work, a very different image of Hofmannsthal has appeared - one that attempts to overcome the common prejudice against the author as an elitist and cultural conservative who was out of step with his time. This dissertation participates in the latest approach to Hofmannsthal's work inasmuch as it largely focuses on Hofmannsthal's self-reflexive poetological writings from the Erfundene Gespräche und Briefe and on the author's intermedial search for a language that can counteract the reification of language in a positivistic age. The central argument of this dissertation is that the crises of language, of perception, of experience and of identity that Hofmannsthal repeatedly represents in his work fundamentally express a crisis of authorship. Hofmannsthal's preoccupation with these crises reflects his increasing uncertainty about the role of the poet in a modern democratic age, in which not only the social hierarchies but also the hierarchies of knowledge are leveled. I argue that Hofmannsthal radically destabilizes the role of the poet by questioning whether the poet has a necessary role in interpreting experience for the many. But I conclude by suggesting that in an effort to keep this question alive in an age of democratic skepticism about the poet's vocation, Hofmannsthal sees the need to reassert at a rhetorical level the poet's privileged position.

Arbeitsplatzeffekte und Betriebsdynamik in den Wiener "Creative Industries"

Mayerhofer, Peter, Huber, Peter 11 1900 (has links) (PDF)
Based on an individual longitudinal data on dependent employment we analyse the role of Creative Industries for the employment system of Vienna. We focus on gross job flows and firm dynamics in this priority field of Vienna's urban policy and analyse the characteristics of the different parts of the cluster's production system. We find ample evidence for positive effects of Creative Industries on employment growth and firm birth, but also reveal considerable job turnover and a large heterogeneity of firm growth in the cluster. Especially, we find rather different evolutions along the clusters value chain, which points to weak linkages between upstream and downstream activities in the cluster. Bendroji Europos pirkimo - pardavimo sutarčių teisė: kylančios problemos / Common European sales law: arising problems

Petraitis, Evaldas 27 January 2014 (has links)
[toliau žr. visą tekstą] / Commission indicates that differences in contract law among the Member States hinder traders and particularly SMEs to engage in cross-border trade within other Member states, therefore at least 26 billion EUR is lost each year in the internal market. Taking into consideration that the Vienna Convention does not regulate certain aspects in contracts of sales of goods, further limitations to its applicability arise as not all Member States have signed the Vienna Convention and there is no mechanism which could ensure its uniform interpretation, therefore it is intended with this Proposal to establish the 2nd contract law regime within the national law of each Member State. CESL is a new and complex legal instrument, which does not escape from material problems. CESL and circumstances of its demand in the interested society receives constructive criticism from Member States institutions, business organizations and legal scholars. In Lithuania, there is no meaningful practical or legal discussions regarding this issue. Therefore attention is being paid in this thesis not to only to the problems related with CESL as a legal instrument, but to the motives which encouraged to adopt this instrument and related problems thereof, as well. In the first part of this thesis, development of the European contract law, circumstances of demand and result to be achieved is identified. Information whereby EU institutions conclude assumption that there is a demand of interested society to... [to full text]

Zum Zeitgeist in ausgewählten Dramen Arthur Schnitzlers / The Zeitgeist in selected Dramas of Arthur Schnitzler

LACUŠOVÁ, Mária January 2011 (has links)
This work deals with the analysis of selected works by the famous Austrian writer Arthur Schnitzler. For the purpose of zeitgeist illustration the dramas Anatole and Reigen were used. The analysis of the works is preceded by theoretical section with a closer description of the socio-historical situation in Vienna at the turn of the 19th and 20 century. A part of the main section is a short treatise on the importance of one-act plays cycle in the development of the author´s works, dramas analysis and characterization of the characters, on the basis of which the conclusions are drawn about the image of Victorian society, which the author deals with in his works . The last part concludes the analysis and provides an outline description of the image and the zeitgeist as it can be deduced on the basis of both Schnitzler´s dramas compared to socio-historical knowledge of that time.
