This master’s thesis deals with a comparison of applied methods of consolidation in connection with evaluation of impact of their difference on a financial situation of capitally connected enterprises through a financial analysis. Theoretical background describes fundamental characteristics of a consolidated financial statement and representative indicators of a financial analysis, but also deals with a procedure of a consolidation. In the practical part of the thesis the acquired knowledge is applied on the evaluation of the current and newly chosen method of consolidation in connection with execution of the financial analysis of both methods. The thesis also deals with the assessment of concrete results and complete evaluation of methods in relation to the financial position and performance of the consolidated enterprise.

Diploma thesis is dedicated to utilization of marketing tools to increase conversion and customer satisfaction in the company Branding Manual s.r.o., which deals with graphic design and information technology. Through the analytical approach are evaluated advantages and weaknesses of the company. On the basis of these facts were proposed and calculated the improvements.

This work deals with the influence of atmospheric corrosion on high-cycle fatigue properties of a weathering steel ATMOFIX B. New experimental data on fatigue strength of a steel exposed for 20 years to an atmospheric corrosion were compared to those characterizing the base material. Reduction of the fatigue lifetime of the exposed material compared with the base material was predicted on the basic of fractographic examination of fracture surfaces and the influence of surface notches on fatigue strength. The predicted results agree well with the experimental results.

HOREJŠOVÁ, Martina: George Gershwin: Concerto in F for piano and orchestra [Diploma thesis]. Charles University in Prague. Faculty of Arts. Institute of Musicology. Supervisor: prof. PhDr. Jarmila Gabrielová, CSc. Prague 2016. The main theme of the diploma thesis is a musical analysis of Concerto in F - the only Gershwin's piano concert from 1925. This diploma thesis also contains information about composer's life, contemporary historical context with relation to American cultural, social and political climate. As well text includes contemporary musical production, which influenced Gershwin's compositional technique. There will also be a comparison between George Gershwin and two other composers (Sergei Rachmaninoff and Maurice Ravel) who also created concert for piano and orchestra in the early 20th century.

The diploma work focuses on a topic which is often discussed in the Czech Republic as well as worldwide. The topic in question is the influence of computer games with elements of aggression and violence on aggressive behaviour of teenagers. The work consists of two parts - a theoretical and an empirical one. The theoretical part has four chapters dealing with theoretical knowledge on the subject. In the empirical part the qualitative research strategy was used - questionnaire method and semi structured interview. The research sample consisted of five pupils from the 9th grade of an elementary school. The main aim of the diploma work will be to establish the subjective perception of the influence of computer games with elements of aggression and violence on aggressive behaviour of pupils of older school age. The secondary aim will be establishing the attitudes of the pupils of older school age to violent and aggressive scenes in computer games and mapping the intrusion of computer games into everyday life of pupils from the point of view of computer games preferences and the time they spend playing computer games during the day. The thesis concerns the topic of parental care for children with autism spectrum disorder. In the theoretical part there are described the main areas in which the autistic spectrum disorders manifest and the description of particular disorders. Next chapter describes this issue from point of view of parental care, it describes the difficulty of the situation, the impact on the lives of parents and whole families, factors affecting the adaptation to the situation and its overall management. The qualitative study was chosen for the research. The sample is composed of 11 mothers of children with autism spectrum disorder. Data for study was collected by half-structured interviews and supplemented by Logo-test. The results of study describe the impact of care for a child with autism spectrum disorder to the lives of parents, emotions in different situations, stressing and supporting aspects of the situation, scarce factors and external factors which the most affect the situation of parents. It seems that the situation causes numerous of changes in the lives of parents and affects their values and attitude to life. The scope of the thesis is to present current rules of financial reporting of the Peoples Republic of China so-called China mainland and to provide general insight on the topic. The thesis firstly describes development of Chinese financial reporting, presents objective, role and users of financial reports in China, covers current principles of financial reporting in China, presents the differences between Chinese Accounting Standards and International Standards of Financial Reporting, introduce the reasons behind the differences and presents impact of Chinese culture on financial reporting. The objective of the research is not Special Administrative Region of the People's Republic of China Hong Kong, neither Macao.

The thesis analyzes an effect of raising the minimum wage and other variables on unemployment rate in the Czech Republic in 2006-2015. The empirical part is based on available time series, which were used to estimate models of unemployment for both women and men, including differently specified models and a model of overall unemployment. The time series used in regression models were adjusted for seasonality. Main hypothesis of this thesis was, that there is a positive correlation between raising the minimum wage and unemployment rate. Exogenous variables used in the models were chosen based on economic theory and existing literature. Results show, that there was no statistically significant relationship between the minimum wage and unemployment rate in the studied period. It was confirmed that there is a negative effect of GDP growth rate and inflation rate on unemployment rate, while unemployment benefits seem to have a positive effect

This thesis deals with an analysis and comparison of tourism within Thailand and Lao PDR. The paper discusses global tourism trends with a special interest dedicated to southeast Asia. Based on studies of history, geography and government programmes of each individual country, conditions for conducting tourism activities were defined. History of tourism as well as develompent of individual destinations were concerned, too. The conclusion summarising present and future possibilities of travel industry in Thailand and Lao PDR also involves information about knowledge and personal approach of Czech public to both countries. The data were collected through an exploratory questionnaire. The next part offers a list of destinations provided by Czech and German travel agencies. Based on the list, an overview of available destinations provided by major Czech and German official mediators was created. One of the chapters also deals with legal conditions governing the rights for setting up a travel agency by non-residents.
