Získání a opětovné využití celulózy z odpadní vody / Harvesting and reuse of cellulose from wastewater

Kobzová, Kamila January 2019 (has links)
The goal of this diploma thesis is to highlight the properties of cellulose fibers obtained from waste water and the importance of recycling of raw materials. The main objective is then to further explore the possibilities of using cellulose fibers as a valuable product on the market. The practical part of the thesis is focused on specific research of cellulose properties and design of equipment for sewage treatment plant according to its size.

Příprava historických pojiv s vysokou odolností proto okolním vlivům / Preparation of historical binders with high resistance to ambient influences

Nehybka, Josef January 2019 (has links)
This master’s thesis is focused on preparation of the mortar mixtures inspired by roman cement with a great resistivity against the corrosion environment, especially a seawater. There were prepared samples of a roman cement containing of pure lime and various artificial pozzolans and natural tuff which were used as pozzolan admixtures. The task of this work is to explore possibility of using pure lime and for example pozzolan admixture which can resist against the corrosive environment like a roman cement. There were prepared a lot of various samples which were tested separately on their mechanical characteristics before and after their exposure of the influence of the corrosive environment. There were used X-ray diffraction analysis for the characterization of a phase composition of the raw materials and some selected samples.

Posouzení možnosti zřízení vodní nádrže / Assessing the Possibility of Setting up a Dam

Prokešová, Eva January 2019 (has links)
The aim of the thesis is to assess the possibility of establishing a water reservoir in s selected location witch regard to its possible water management activities including geological conditions. The thesis also defines basic terms related to water reservoir and their parts. This work was elaborated with the help of available literature and valid laws of the Czech Republic concerning the given issue. At the end of the work will be valued land meeting the conditions for the construction of a small water tank. The award will take place in two ways according to the decree and direct comparison.

Kapková závlaha parkových ploch v polyfunkčním objektu s využitím dešťové vody / Drip irrigation of park area in multifunctional object with rainwater re-use

Kabátek, Stanislav January 2020 (has links)
The aim of this work is to design an irrigation system of park areas in a multifunctional object using rainwater. The knowledge obtained during the study was used to solve the problem. The solution is an irrigation system consisting of drip irrigation supplemented with a sprinkler irrigation system that uses rainwater for its operation. In the event of excess of rainwater, the water is disposed of by means of infiltration blocks located on the land. The benefit of this work is to show that the return on investment is acceptable in similar cases and, above all, that this investment contributes to responsibility for natural resources.

Design antigravitačního trenažéru / Design of Antigravity Simulation

Crhová, Veronika January 2020 (has links)
The diploma thesis is focused on the design of water antigravity treadmill, which is unsatisfactory for current products, and has shortcomings in terms of ergonomics. Design of the device takes into consideration the connection between water and man and, also the ergonomic requirements for all users. The design was significantly influenced by the choice of materials, which enabled round shaping of the device. A technical innovation is the built – in wheelchair access ramp. The device is multi – purpose, suitable for a wide range of patients and athletes. Thanks to the built – in ramp, space requirements had been significantly reduced.

Předčištění dešťové vody před vtokem do zasakovací nádrže / Pre-treatment of rainwater before entering the infiltration tank

Spurný, Martin January 2021 (has links)
The diploma thesis is focused on the topic of pre-treatment of rainwater before entering the infiltration tank. The theoretical part deals with the issue of rainwater, their division and pollution, as well as technical solutions for rainwater management. In the practical part, testing of selected street drains of various construction systems in the laboratory of VHO (municipal water management) was performed and subsequently these drains were evaluated according to various criteria - the amount of captured material, drain cleaning system and filter construction.

VÝSKYT URANU V PITNÉ VODĚ JIHOMORAVSKÉHO KRAJE A JEHO STANOVENÍ / MONITORING OF URANIUM IN DRINKING WATER IN THE SOUTH MORAVIAN REGION AND ITS ANALYSIS.

Hanusková, Vendula January 2008 (has links)
The determination of uranium in samples of the enviroment was considered for liquadeted chemical toxicity of uranium and it is impossible to leave out a potential occurrence in drinking water. The purpose of this diploma thesis was the monitoring of preselected public water supplies in the South Moravia and post action analysis of those samples. That was all on the basis of the requierement of the Regional Hygiene Station. For determination of trace concentrations of uranium in drinking waters the method ICP-MS (Inductively Coupled Plasma with Mass Spectrometry) was chosen. All of the results were then summarized and evaluated. At the end are proposed feasible solutions and precautions for public water supplies operators.

Porovnání analytických metod ČSN vůči metodám US EPA při rozboru vodných vzorků / The comparison of analytical method ČSN with the methods US EPA by the analysis of aqueous samples

Bělicová, Marie January 2010 (has links)
The theses compares analytical methods according to current norms used in the Czech Republic to the methods based on the principle according to US EPA. A new device the automatic photometer Aquakem 250 makes use of the US EPA methods. Prior to its laboratory use in the Institute of Public Health in the town of Ostrava the photometer had to be validated. For the comparsion of the analytical methods ion chromatographic, isotachophoresis, spectrophotometric, titrimetric methods were used. The validation process, which was documented (in validation protocols), was time consuming and technically challenging. It was confirmed that the new Aquakem 250 analyzer provides result that are verified by methods which are in accordance with norms applicable in the Czech Republic. After a successful completion of validation and obtained accreditation the new automatic analyzer was put into regular operation in the chemically laboratory.

Pasivní vzorkování polárních organických kontaminantů z vod / Passive sampling of polar organic pollutants from water

Vítková, Libuše January 2011 (has links)
This thesis deals with the passive sampling of polar compounds from water using passive samplers POCIS (Polar Organic Chemical Integrative Sampler). These devices were exposed for 4 weeks in the waste water at the inflow of municipal waste water treatment plant in Brno – Modřice, and also at the outflow of the treated water. After exposition sequestered compounds were released by extraction with a mixture of methanol, toluene and dichlormethane. Extracts were analysed by liquid chromatography/mass spectrometry with electrospray ionization. Further, methylated and trimethylsilylated extracts were analysed by orthogonal comprehensive two-dimensional gas chromatography with mass spectrometric detection. Separated compounds were identified on the base of their retention and mass spectra.

Stanovení syntetických vonných látek v odpadních vodách / Assessment of synthetic musk compounds in waste waters

Štefka, Michal January 2012 (has links)
The synthetic aromatic substances are present in the products of personal hygiene, detergents and cosmetics. After the application these compounds are drained away into the waste water. But the technological process used in sewage works is not able to eliminate these substances and these ones influence the particular items of the environment. The aim of the degree work is the determination of four selected items of the linear musk compounds (2-cyclohexylethanole, Fresco Menthe, Citronellol and Isobornyl acetate) in the wastewater. The real patterns were taken on the place of affluent of the sewage discharge and on the place of the draining off in the sewage plant in VFU Brno. On the basis of measurements and subsequent evaluation on of obtaining data it was possible to express the measurement of efficiency of the elimination of the present musk compounds. Firstly it was necessary to adapt the selected analytical method to the physical and chemical qualities of the prescribed analytes. The analytes were extracted from the patterns by the method of the micro extraction for the consistent phase so called solid phase microextraction (SPME). The gas chromatography in the tandem connection with the mass spectrometry makes the identification and quantification possible.
