Prameny radioaktivních minerálních vod v oblasti Chrastava - Bogatynia / The springs of the radioactive medicinal groundwaters in the Chrastava - Bogatynia area

Černík, Tomáš January 2017 (has links)
A radiogeochemical exploration in the area of Chrastava - Bogatynia belonging into lugic region was conducted in the years 2012 - 2013. This exploration's objective was to search for and investigate radioactive water manifestations with radioactivity concentration reaching minimal value of 1500 Bq/l 222Rn. This boundary is set in the spa law no. 164/2001 Sb. as a minimal radioactivity concentration for radioactive mineral water. In this area, 30 water manifestations were discovered meeting the boudary of >1500 Bq/l 222Rn. The most significant cluster is located in Albrechtice by Frýdlant. Close to Kančí vrch (Boar Hill) 12 radioactive water springs were discovered. In the town of Albrechtice, a discovery of dissolved salts- rich radioactive mineral water was made, concerning springs Soumar and Matka. The most mineralized spring Soumar contains more than 1 g/l of dissolved salts (hydrochemical type Na-Ca-Cl water with total mineralization up to 1,5 g/l) combined with it's 222Rn activity surpassing 1500 Bq/l. Another significant cluster is located near the town of Nová Ves by Chrastava, where the most active source of the whole area, Mikulášský pramen (Mikulash Spring), with activity up to 2821 Bq/l 222Rn, was found. Another three radioactive water springs were found in this area. Also, probable dry...

Zavádění Rámcové směrnice o vodě v ČR - její záměry a dopady / Water Framework Directive implementation in the Czech Republic - the purposes and impacts

Lechnerová, Galina January 2009 (has links)
This work focuses on the question of water as a public good and presents three significant approaches of environmental good treatment (considering water). Those are the environmental policy of a state, market approach and decentralized resource regimes. After that it focuses on the water policy in the Czech Republic and on the temporary Water Framework Directive implementation process. It compares the intended impacts with real effects of the implementation of directive. The comparison is made in three institutional areas -- competent authority, public participation and price policy in management of water. On behalf of the confrontation of institutional changes of these areas, it makes conclusions about real impacts of the Water Framework Directive implementation in the Czech Republic.

Analýza přestupu tepla v parogenerátorech bloků VVER 440 / Trasfer Heat Analysis in Steam Generators in blocks of VVER 440

Roupec, Petr January 2010 (has links)
The aim of this thesis is to analyze the heat transfer in steam generator of blocks in the nuclear power plant VVER 440. The steam generator represents the border between the primary and the secondary circuit. The heat is carried from a warm water from reactor to a cold water. The steam arises after the heat transfer and drives the steam turbine. An important quantity which represents the heat transfer is a heat transfer factor. This thesis is divided into theoretical and a practical part. In the theoretical part is mentioned a principle of the steam generator and the theoretical calculation of the heat transfer factor, which comes first of all from the character of the streaming in the steam generator. The practical part brings a comparison of the heat transfer factor calculated from data measured after the start of the third block of EDU in 1986, with the heat transfer factor which comes from the measurement after the power-increase for 105 % of nominal power of the same block in 2009. Further is shown the prediction of the heat transfer factor for next power-increase and the following service is shown too.

Intenzifikace separace manganu při úpravě pitné vody / Improvement of Manganese Separation in Drinking Water Treatment

Bartoš, Ladislav January 2009 (has links)
The submitted paper covers manganese comprehensively. The introduction provides an overview of its basic physical and chemical properties. Its compounds are discussed individually, including their preparation, production, and practical uses. Furthermore, a list of analytical methods in which manganese is involved in the form of its compounds as reagents is included. The same section includes an overview of analytical methods whereby manganese and its compounds are detected, primarily in water industry processes. Attention is paid to manganese as a non-negligible constituent of the various parts of the environment. The section on manganese’s biogenic properties is interesting from the viewpoint of its toxicity as well as its role as an important biogenic element, indispensable primarily for mammals. The subsequent chapters discuss the various methods which are suitable, under specific conditions, for separation in the treatment of surface and underground water aimed at producing drinking, process, or industrial water, where a minimal concentration of this metal is required. The impact of the physical/chemical conditions which influence the efficiency of separation in a manner ranging from non-negligible to principal, is discussed further on. Given the specifics of treatment of surface [and] underground water, the chapters provide more details on the processes suitable for specific types of matrix and specific conditions. Next chapters sum up many years of the author’s observations and experiences in the various parts of the water management system, from the raw water source to treatment to distribution, focusing on surface and underground water separately. Last chapter describes the construction of a water treatment plant model, its launch and calibration, and the tests focused on separating manganese by way of coagulation using aluminium and iron sulphate.

Geneze složení podzemních vod hlubokých pánevních struktur na příkladu vztahu české křídové pánve a oháreckého riftu / The genesis of groundwater composition in deep basin structures on the example of the Bohemian Cretaceous Basin and the Eger Rift relationship

Dupalová, Tereza January 2013 (has links)
This thesis deals with genesis of the Cretaceous thermal waters in the Ústí nad Labem. These thermal waters are interesting in that are very different from other Cretaceous thermal waters, which also appear in Benešov-Ústí aquifer system of the Bohemian Cretaceous Basin in Děčín. Thermal waters in the Ústí nad Labem area more than chalk waters resemble the thermal waters in Teplice, which are associated with body of Teplice rhyolite. Many authors studied thermal waters in the Ústí nad Labem, but isotope analysis and inverse geochemical modeling were not used for their study. Results based on water chemistry, water D and 18 O, 87 Sr/86 Sr ratios, and dissolved sulfate 34 S and 18 O values, indicate mixing of ground water from aquifers of the Bohemian Cretaceous Basin with ground water derived from crystalline rocks of the Erzgebirge Mts. Unlike thermal waters in Děčín are Ca-HCO3 type (160 mg/L), in Ústí nad Labem there are two types of thermal waters, Na-HCO3 type with higher TDS values (over 1 g/L) and Na-(Ca)-HCO3-SO4 type with lower TDS values (approximately 600 mg/L). Carbon isotope data and speciation and inverse geochemical modeling suggest a significant input of endogenous CO2 at Ústí nad Labem. Besides CO2 input, both silicate dissolution and cation exchange coupled with dissolution of...

Podzemní vody a lázeňské prameny Lázní Jeseník: Nová hydrogeochemická data / Underground waters and springs at Jeseník Spa: New hydrogeochemical data

Kohn, Tomáš January 2018 (has links)
This thesis deals with the areal survey of water resources in the area of Priessnitz baths, to search for natural medicinal sources and advanced data collection for evaluation radiohydrogeochemical situation of the area. The area of interest is situated in the Hrubý Jeseník mountains. Hydrogeologically it is a hard rock, which consists mainly of metamorphic rocks of the Bohemian Massif, the Moravian-Silesian region, presented as the methamorfic envelope of the desen group of Silenics. Altogether, 83 objects were recorded and many of them were visited repeatedly. Physical parameters (temperature, pH, Eh, conductivity), activity 222Rn and flow rate were measured. In addition, the chemical composition and tritium contents were determined on selected sources. Conductometry, thermometry, and probes for peloids were conducted. There was no source of water (or peloid) that would reach the criteria of a natural healing source (according to the Czech spa law). However, the overall hydrogeological and hydrochemical situation is quite complicated. Both the genesis of water and its chemical composition is highly heterogeneous and influenced by the heterogenical geological structure. Generally, we have distinguished three types of water according to the chemical composition. We also divided the water sources...

Možnosti využití erikoidní mykorhizy při rozmnožování vybraných odrůd zahradních borůvek.

Čižimská, Radka January 2019 (has links)
The aim of this thesis was to verify whether it is possible to use mycorrhizal symbiosis in nursery production of selected varieties of highbush blueberries (Vaccinium corymbosum). In the theoretical part, a literature review on a given topic was elaborated. The methodology of the experiment was elaborated within the practical part. Practical experiments were carried out on experimental plots of the Institute of Breeding and Propagation of Horticultural Plants in Brno during 2018. During the growing season, growth indicators, physiological indicators, root system size and the degree of root colonization by mycorrhizal structures were evaluated. The results of my work clearly demonstrate the effect of mycorrhizal symbiosis on resistance to biotic and abiotic factors, especially drought stress. However, it should be noted that it would be useful to devote more time to researching ericoid mycorrhiza and to monitor more indicators to help us understand it better.
