The diploma thesis deals with the evaluation of the efficiency of wastewater treatment at a selected wastewater treatment plant in Hodějice. It is used for the treatment of mostly sewage water from five municipalities. The aim was to obtain data on the water quality at the inflow and outflow from the WWTP based on its own monitoring, calculate the efficiency and to compare it with the data provided by the WWTP Hodějice in 2018. The relevant issue of pollution, wastewaters, their sewering and treatment is handled in literary review. The thesis also includes characteristics of the area of interest and selected wastewater treatment plant. The results were graphically processed and compared with the emission standards set out in government regulation no.401/2015 coll. and the water authority of Slavkov u Brna, listed in the Sewerage code of WWTP Hodějice. It was found that for the monitored indicators the efficiency of treatment is sufficient.

The aim of this diploma thesis is to design an interior element for plant growth. The theoretical part is focused on the requirements of plants in cultivation, the distribution of interior elements based on plants needs for the cultivation and the effect of plants on man and the environment. The last chapter of the theoretical part deals with the analysis of current trends and attractions in the field of cultivation. The practical part deals with the design process, which is in form of sketches, 3D visualizations, and paper models. The practical part is also focused on the selection of suitable materials and the technological procedure for prototype production. The result of the work is the visualization of the element for indoor plant growth, structural drawings and prototype in the scale of 1: 1, which will be introduced in the defense of work.

<p>Cilj istraživanja doktorske disertacije je utvrđivanje koncentracionih nivoa, odnosa, uslovljenosti i korelacija između jedinjenja koja učestvuju u transformaciji azotnih jedinjenja u odabranim površinskim i podzemnim vodama. Praćene su promene koncentracija fizičko-hemijskih parametara koje ukazuju na ispunjenost uslova za odvijanje pojedinih procesa transformacije, poreklo podzemne vode i antropogene uticaje na kvalitet. Definisan je potencijal podzemnih voda za konzervaciju azota, a detaljna hidrogeohemijska, mikrobiološka, izotopska i statistička analiza, sprovedena je za dva akvifera ispod poljoprivrednih površina, kao reprezenta različitih uticaja uslova oksičnosti na transformaciju i transport azotnih jedinjenja, regionalno izvorište Ključ i drenažni sistem Kovin-Dubovac. Rezultati laboratorijskog i terenskog ogleda su korišćeni za utvrđivanje dominantnih puteva i modelovanje kinetike redukcije nitrata.</p> / <p>The aim of the dissertation research is to determine concentration levels, relationships, conditionаlities and correlations between compounds involved in nitrogen transformations in selected surface and groundwaters. Changes in the concentration levels of physicochemical parameters which indicate the fulfillment of conditions for certain transformation processes, the origin of groundwater and anthropogenic impacts on water quality were all analysed. Groundwater potential for nitrogen conservation was determined. Detailed hydrogeochemical, microbiological, isotopic and statistical analysis were conducted for two aquifers under agricultural areas, representing different effects of the oxicity conditions on the nitrogen transformation and transport, the regional groundwater source Ključ and drainage system Kovin-Dubovac. The results of the laboratory and field experiments were used to identify the pathways and model the kinetics of nitrate reduction.</p>

The diploma thesis is focused on evaluate the efficiency of wastewater treatment plants in the village Veverská Bítýška. Part of the thesis is a literary research, which defines: the basic information about water, wastewater, wastewater treatment and related legislation. Other items of work are characteristic of interest territory and characteristic of selected wastewater treatment plant. In the context of the methodology of the diploma thesis are described selected indicators of water quality and individual determinations in the field and laboratory. Results for the set of indicators of water quality are processed in tables and the graphs, which are accompanied by brief descriptions. Efficiency of wastewater treatment plants is calculated from the acquired measurement results. At the end of the diploma thesis its the overall assessment. Efficiency of wastewater treatment plants always meet the set legislative limits. Values were almost always over 90%.

The thesis deals with the determination of selected ion herbicides in surface waters and in the first part describes the herbicides. Given the broad spectrum herbicide further work deals mainly with glyphosate. The next section describes the electromigration methods and the methods by which the herbicides were determined. Finally, it describes how the development of an electrolyte system along with the use of graphical possibilities of computer technology. In conclusion are presented and commented on the results of measurements of glyphosate in surface waters, compared with foreign literature and assessing the suitability of methods for the analysis of contaminants in the environment.

This thesis deals with the evaluation of toxicity and soil leachate from landfill Těmice. The theoretical part focuses on the characteristics of municipal waste landfill and process description. Another part is devoted to the field of ecotoxicology and describing its basic methods. The practical part describes the selected landfill and performing the assay inhibition of white mustard (Sinapis alba L.) for leachate water from landfill. The work also includes the test phytotoxicity of soil by Phytotoxkit. It focuses on the description of this method, workflow and work aids. In conclusion, the evaluation of both tests, which involve the calculation of root growth inhibition for each concentration of the test substance. The work is complemented by photographic documentation carried out laboratory tests and landfill.

This thesis deals with innovation possibilities of scholarly internships in developing countries which are hold by Faculty of regional development and international studies at Mendel University in Brno. Following this, the author defined the objective to create a model development project for the needs of a specific community in Nicaragua, with a focus on the problems of polluted water. Using the survey was then verified assumptions and possibilities of innovated student internships implementation. Questionnaire results and processed model project were subsequently used as the basis for creating innovation proposals for the current internship system. Proposals include mainly elements of long-term and continuity in the work of students in these internships, furthermore the possibility to penetrate deeper into the real problems of certain communities and increase the level of student´s improvement suggestions being effectively implemented.

This diploma thesis is focused on the study of small water reservoir in Držková. Projekted small water reservoir should withold water in landscape, improve biodiversity and serve as aesthetic landscape component. Basis for this study is colection of information about geology, soil condition, hydrology, climate, flora, fauna, anthropogenic impacts and historical use of area. Part of this thesis is also analysis of soil samples. Project of small water reservoir was processed with respect of functional and aesthetical views acording to norm ČSN 75 2410 Small water reservoir.

The way of the Jedovnice creek: connection with the spring Falling into the underground halls and back to the light. The Water Way is an intermedial poem that is concerned to the element of water, character of its way through the landscape and its presence in the landscape. Since the type of work I most prefer is the work in the landscape, I am returning back to the natural landscape, strong places in Moravian karst near Brno. The audiovisual poem is primarily focused on the moment of melting. Sublimation of ice from the ice shelter, ephemeral phenomena on the surface, such as miniature whirls, waves, rays of sunlight and especially moonlight. The poem focuses on the possibilities of transferring the experience with a specific place, and the events in a unique, unrepeatable time and space into the theatrical scene and possibilities of the musical and audiovisual interpretation of such experience. I work with digital media (video mix and audiostop) to transfer the artist's physical experience in a unique time and unique natural setting into the scenic form of the work. Considering the physical and symbolic qualities of the water element, I have abandoned the composition of the event in the classical sense.

Project tries to answer the question what place does municipal baths have in contemporary society on a specific case of baths with relationship to river and surrounding neighbourhood. This baths are a place for recreation and socialization with accent on social apects. Baths build on proven experience from local baths tradition (european/roman) as well as exotic (arabic, asian). In the same time it articulates them in contemporary language and adjusts them to conditions of contemporary society.
