This bachelor thesis concerns the impact of new media on thee-legal deposit in Sweden. The aim is to gain further knowledge onthe conceptions of digital media that are expressed in the textanalysed, and the impact of theese conceptions on the law ofe-legal deposit. It is commonly agreed that born-digital materialshould be comprised within legal deposit, but there seems to bedifferent views regarding the scope of what should be collectedwithin the law. The material analysed is the government bill onelectronic legal deposit from 2012 (Regeringens proposition2011/12:121). The method used is a discourse analysis inspired bythe theories of the french historian of ideas and social theoristMichel Foucault. Questions posed in this study are whichknowledge claims that can be found in the text about net producedand net distributed media content, and about the production andcirculation of this content. Another question posed is what impactthose conceptions and knowledge claims might have on theframing of the law on e-legal deposit in Sweden. The result of theanalysis is discussed in the light of the american media scholarHenry Jenkin’s theories on media convergence. The conclusion isamong other things that the statements in the text in a way shut outconceptions of a new media situation by clinging on to certaincriterias regarding what should be collected within the law one-legal deposit. Another conclusion is that it might be difficult tostick to the thought of completeness that always have been animportant idea concerning the law on legal deposit in Sweden.

Denna c-uppsats behandlar webbpubliceringen på Expressen.se samt Aftonbladet.se. Uppsatsen är en uppföljningsstudie av en tidigare uppsats som behandlade webb-publiceringen på SvD.se, med fokus på hur artiklarna uppdaterades. Denna uppsats studerar de fyra högst placerade nyheterna och deras rörelse på Aftonbladet.se samt Expressen.se. Vi har utgått från en metod utvecklad av medieforskaren Michael Karlsson för att studera denna rörelse. Vi vill samtidigt utvärdera tidigare nämnd metod. Denna studie är med andra ord av metodutvecklande karaktär. Föränderligheten på webben gör att webbartiklar i de allra flesta fall inte kan studeras på samma sätt som tryckt journalistik, som ju är statisk. Detta har lett till metodologiska problem vad gäller webbjournalistikens forskningsfält. Att testa och utvärdera de få metoder som finns är därför relevant. Bland resultaten syns att Aftonbladet.se tycks ha en högre publiceringsrytm än Expressen.se i stort. Ur det empiriska materialet kan slutsatsen dras att Expressen.se uppdaterar och ändra i sina nyheter i en något högre utsträckning än Aftonbladet.se. Vi kom även fram till att Michael Karlssons metod inte lämpar sig för att studera ändringar av nyheter på webben. Detta då metoden inte tar hänsyn till samtliga versioner av nyheten. Vi föreslår en kombination av metoder för att på ett korrekt sätt kunna uttala sig om webbnyheters föränderlighet. Vårt förslag är att Karlssons metod utökas för att på ett systematiskt sätt få med samtliga versioner av de nyheter som någon gång befinner sig på topplacering. Då kan man uttala sig både om hur nyheter förändras samt dess rörelse.
