Den teoretiska referensram vi använt oss av är systemteorin. Vi valde en kvalitativ datainsamling och utförde 12 halvstrukturerade intervjuer med rektorer och pedagoger. Informanterna har alla erfarenhet av pedagogisk handledning i någon form. Intervjuerna från de två stadsdelarna redovisas under sex teman: pedagogisk handledning, förekomst och användning av pedagogisk handledning, effekter och möjligheter med pedagogisk handledning, faktorer som bidrar till användningen av pedagogisk handledning, information och framåtblick kring pedagogisk handledning. Resultatet visar att pedagogisk handledning används på skolor i de båda stadsdelarna. Förekomsten styrs inte till så stor del av de olika förutsättningarna i stadsdelarna utan mer av hur man använder resurserna på skolorna. Det framkom sju faktorer som bidrar till användningen av pedagogisk handledning. Dessa faktorer är ekonomi, inställning, prioritering, tid, efterfrågan, information och behov. / AbstractJacobsson, Liselott & Thiborg, Jenny (2012) Contributing factors for guidance A comparison of two districtsWhat factors contribute to the use of guidance at schools?The aim of our study is to compare two districts with different conditions to determine factors that contribute to the use of guidance. The theoretical framework that we used is systems theory. We chose a qualitative research and conducted twelve semi-structured interviews with principals and teachers. All of the informants have experience of guidance in some form. The interviews from the two districts are presented under six themes: guidance, the presence and use of guidance, effects and possibilities with guidance, factors that contribute to the use of guidance, information and future visions about guidance.The result shows that guidance is used in schools in both districts. The presence of guidance is controlled not so much of the different conditions in the two districts but more of how recourses are used in the schools. In the study it was found seven factors which contribute to the use of guidance. These factors are economy, approach, prioritization, time, demand, information and needs.
