Previous issue date: 2009-12-21 / This paper was based on the possibility to accomplish a reflection on pain in teaching, under the perspective of the anthropology of imaginary, through a theoretical and literary writing also supported by the author s life intimations and memory, in order to contribute with discussions about the meanings of pain experienced in teaching. The text is characterized as an essay and lies on two authors theories: Gilbert Durand and Gaston Bachelard. Taking phenomenology in the first one s view and anthropology under the second one s, the text demonstrates the author s pathway of reflection. A pathway where writing and reflection have been simultaneously built, which is a characteristic named anthropo-phenomenological writing in this paper. This pathway used as fonts, other Philosophy, Literature and Poetry authors, besides the previously mentioned ones. Since the intention was to develop the possibility to talk about pains which are lived in solitude: lived pains, not easily reported, an approximation with literary images has been tried. Literary images have been used in the composition of the reflection, especially images of home, due to the belief on the possibility to build knowledge for the understanding on the referred pains through the approximation with such images. Aiming at possibilities of convergence with other teachers, probable readers of this paper, it is defended the thesis that, when working with such supports, a poetic reading of pain in teaching may consist in a possibility for the production of meanings which implicate the appreciation of beautiful images and the actions to preserve them and not succumb to an irreversible severity / O que fundamentou este trabalho foi a possibilidade de realizar uma reflexão sobre a dor na docência, sob a perspectiva da antropologia do imaginário, procurando, por meio da escrita apoiada em suportes teóricos, literários, intimações do vivido e da memória do autor, contribuir com as discussões sobre os sentidos das dores vivenciadas na profissão docente. O texto caracteriza-se como ensaio e tem como base teórica principal dois autores: Gilbert Durand e Gaston Bachelard. Tomando a fenomenologia sob a ótica do primeiro e a antropologia sob a do segundo, o texto demonstra o caminho de reflexão do autor. Caminho onde escrita e reflexão se construíram concomitantemente, sendo esta uma característica do que, neste trabalho, se quer definir como escrita antropo-fenomenológica. Este caminho teve como fontes, além dos teóricos já mencionados, outros autores da filosofia e também da literatura e da poesia. Dado que a intenção foi de trabalhar a possibilidade de falar sobre dores que são vividas em solidão: dores vividas, mas não facilmente narradas, buscou-se uma aproximação via imagens literárias. Dessa forma, utilizou-se imagens literárias na composição da reflexão, principalmente as da casa, por se acreditar na possibilidade de que, na aproximação com tais imagens, possa-se construir saberes para o entendimento sobre as referidas dores. Visando possibilidades de convergências com outros professores, possíveis leitores do trabalho, defende-se a tese de que trabalhando com estes suportes, uma leitura poética da dor na docência pode constituir-se em possibilidade para produção de sentidos que implique em valorizações de imagens belas e de ações para preservá-las e não o sucumbir numa gravidade irreversível
