Previous issue date: 2009-08-21 / O objetivo deste trabalho é saber como tem ocorrido o processo de implementação do Tema Transversal Orientação Sexual, apresentado pelos Parâmetros Curriculares Nacionais (PCN), por intermédio da observação do trabalho de uma professora da Rede Federal de Ensino, no município de Juiz de Fora, que aborda essa temática. A pesquisa surgiu a partir da análise do texto dos Parâmetros Curriculares Nacionais, passou pela revisão da literatura sobre a temática da sexualidade e foi realizada a observação do trabalho desenvolvido pela professora. Houve ainda entrevista com a professora e questionário respondido pelos alunos. A análise da comparação entre os temas abordados na escola e os conteúdos dos PCN revela um processo híbrido de implementação desta proposta no currículo escolar no caso estudado em que ainda prevalece a abordagem médica da sexualidade humana. O resultado deste trabalho leva ao processo de formação da identidade, condição que aponta para a importância da discussão sobre currículo. / The objective of this work is know how has been occuring the process of implementation of the Theme of Sexual Orientation Transverse, presented by the National Curricular Parameters (PCN), for intermediate from observation of the work from a teacher from Net Federal of instruction, into the county of Juiz de Fora, what approach this thematic. The research came from analysis of the text of the National Curriculares Parameters , passed by revision of literature about the thematic of the sexuality and was performed observation of the work developed by teacher. There was still interview with the teacher and questionnaire answered by students. The analysis of the comparison among the themes boarded in the school and the contents of the PCN reveals a hybrid process of implementation from this proposal in the scholar curriculum in the studied case in which still there prevails of the medical approach to human sexuality. The result of this work leads to the process of identity formation, condition that points to the importance of the discussion about curriculum.
