Vliv věku, pohlaví a pohybové aktivity na úroveň reakčních schopností dolních končetin u pubescentů / The Influence of age, gender and movement activity on the reaction abilities of lower limbs by pubescents

Brychta, Petr January 2015 (has links)
Title: The influence of age, gender and movement activity on the reaction abilities of lower limbs. Objectives: The main objective of this dissertation was to find the reaction abilities of pubescent's (aged 10 - 15years) lower limbs on the basis of age, gender and movement activity. The further aim was to determine the pubescence period (age) when the most noticeable decrease of the visual disjunctive motor response time of lower limbs occurs. Methods: 214 boys and girls aged 10-15 years (157.8 ± 10.8 cm; 47.2 ± 10.7 kg) participated in this research. Simple, choice and disjunctive reaction time of lower limbs was measured through the Fitro Agility Check test. The results processing, including statistical procedures, was carried out using the Matlab (MathWorks, Inc.) programming environment, an IBM SPSS Statistics 22. Three-way ANOVA and Tukey post-hoc tests (α=0.05) were used to determine the individual parameters connection. Results: With increasing age, year over year, we found important differences and reaction time decreases of all types of reaction speeds. Testing brings to light the fact that the most noticeable decrease of both selection and disjunctive reaction time of lower limbs are between groups of 11 year olds (11.00-11.99) and 12 year olds (12.00-12.99). The most noticeable decrease...

Lärdomar i en storskalig agil transformation ur ett ledarskapsperspektiv / Lessons learned in a large-scale agile transformation from a leadership perspective

Holmgren, Robert, Krus, Lisa January 2022 (has links)
In a more complex and rapidly changing world, organizations find it difficult to keep up and take advantage of opportunities quickly enough, handle challenges and changes in customer requirements and therefore they need to increase their ability to adapt more quickly to change, something that is referred to as business agility. To better handle rapid change, organizations has adopted agile methods, but these were developed with individual teams as a model and are not intended to handle the challenges that arise when many teams work together in enterprises. For larger organizations, to achieve business agility, they need to scale up the agile methods and this change in organization is called an agile transformation. To their aid, they have large-scale agile frameworks. There are only a few case studies on agile transformation and the adaption of large-scale agile frameworks in various contexts, especially in large organizations that are strictly regulated and within the public sector. Many of the challenges and success factors that emerge from the studies and reports that do exist, are directly or indirectly linked to leadership issues, but there is limited research on the experiences of leaders, who are expected to lead the agile transformation. Some of the most reported challenges are resistance to change among employees and an organizational culture contrary to agile values. Support from leaders, communication, transparency, and increased knowledge in agile practices, are among the most reported success factors. The research objective is to examine an agile transformation, from a leadership perspective, with the support of a large-scale agile framework at government agency. The theoretical framework includes theories of importance for the understanding of business agility, agile transformation, and lean-agile leadership. A case study that goes in depth and which provides an opportunity for a detailed description of reality has been chosen and the study has a qualitative approach. The case being studied is the development department at Skatteverket (the Swedish Tax Agency), which has used the large-scale agile framework SAFe in its agile transformation. Data have been collected through interviews with people with leadership roles and the analysis of the empirical data is thematic. The conclusions of this study describe the meeting between the existing organizational structure and the large-scale agile framework, and between the traditional leadership and the agile. The study provides answers to the research question of what lessons can be given to others who are planning a large-scale agile transformation. The lessons are connected to experiences of a large-scale agile framework, the influence of the government agency context, dependencies, dual roles and leadership.

Divestment Under Political Crisis : Swedish MNCs Response to Russia’s Invasion of Ukraine

Akhter, Mahmuda, Svensson, Oscar January 2023 (has links)
The exogenous shock that Russia's invasion of Ukraine entailed brought great challenges and demands for change in companies worldwide. Governing under these conditions is not easy, nor is knowing what is actually right to do. There is research on turbulent environments and exogenous shocks, divestments, and legitimacy, but research on the interaction between these is limited. In this study, we examine how companies have responded to exogenous shocks, more specifically how Swedish MNCs have acted and communicated as a result of Russia's invasion of Ukraine on February 24, 2022. The study consists of 69 Swedish MNCs that were active in Russia pre-invasion and their communications and actions as a result of this event, with data drawn from press releases, company reports, state registers and the media. The results show that many of the examined companies have acted in a similar way and divested the Russian market, albeit with varying quickness and forcefulness, thus adopting an approach consistent with what may be considered to be a legitimate strategy, with a few exceptions where the companies' actions has not been as consistent. What this means is that despite the fact that these decisions are made by the respective company management, the measures are generally in line with each other, which may be a result of pressure from both internal and external stakeholders and society at large.

Improving the design and management of agile supply chains : feedback and application in the context of humanitarian aid / Conception et amélioration de chaines logistiques agiles : application au secteur humanitaire

Charles, Aurélie 15 October 2010 (has links)
A push for increased professionalism during disaster relief operations has been reinforced over the last decade. The uncertainties humanitarian organisations have to cope with and the vital importance of their success has incited them to develop their ability to respond quickly and adequately to short-term changes. This agility capability is becoming highly prized by the private sector. Starting from a framework of supply chain agility, this thesis analyses humanitarian methods and defines an agility maturity model aiming to measure and improve the agility capability of a supply chain. As agility often depends on the adequate balance between delivery capacity and needs, our second problemstatement aims to design a logistics network that can operate under high levels of uncertainty so that for a given level of service in terms of agility, efficiency is maximized. Our study quantifies the impact on costs of various decisions, such as network design, supply strategy or level of service.

Détermination et variation du profil physique du footballeur de très haut niveau : référence spéciale aux performances athlétiques selon les différents postes de jeu orientant sur la validation d’un test d’agilité / Athletic profile variation on elite soccer players : special reference to athletic performance according to playing positions to direct on a specific soccer agility test

Vigne, Grégory 13 December 2011 (has links)
This work is dedicated to scientists, coaches and physical trainers as well as athletes involved in elite soccer activity. The scientific results and their practical applications could be used as a basis for the work of scientists as well as football professionals. The first part of this thesis showed that playing positions significantly influence activity profile. Moreover, this study demonstrated that the work/rest ratio observed in elite soccer Italian Serie A championship attained 1/8 and represented a mean work time of 2.2 seconds for an averaged recovery time of 18 seconds. The second part of this thesis, explored the evolution of activity profile and total ball possession during 3 consecutive seasons in the same elite team. This study has showed how for three consecutive seasons the players of successful Serie-A team reduced their distances performed at submaximal speeds, and increased ball possession while maintaining the distances covered at high/maximal speeds. It is suggested that this is due to a better understanding of tactical roles and team organization. The third part of the thesis tended to develop and to valid a specific agility soccer test composed with fundamental soccer tasks which has to be performed as quickly as possible. The validity and repeatability of the test has been demonstrated and it has been applied on a large population of different ages, positions and levels. As a conclusion, this thesis provided new specific results and perspectives that would influence professional soccer athletic conditioning and that provided a new specific test to detect young soccer players.

Estudo das táticas reprodutivas em duas espécies de Coenagrionidae (Odonata: Zygoptera) / Reproductive tactics study of two Coenagrionid species (Odonata: Zygoptera)

Vilela, Diogo Silva 04 March 2016 (has links)
In studies concerning Sexual Selection theory, dragonflies and damselflies have been well studied due to their wide range of behavioral, color and reproductive tactics patterns. To demonstrate reproductive tactics adopted by two damselfly species, this study aimed to: i) investigate the role of secondary traits such as body coloration in intrasexual competition of a territorial species and ii) analyze if body traits such as size and wing morphology predicts the adopted tactic by non-territorial males. It is suggested that body coloration can predict the fight outcome and also positively correlates with males physical condition in territorial males of Tigriagrion aurantinigrum and body traits such as body size and wing morphology influence the reproductive tactic adopted by non-territorial males of Epipleoneura williamsoni. Therefore, with these results, it is concluded that the visual signalling variation plays an important role on the animal comunication and conflict resolution, which also may indicate that there is a signalling on the males physical condition. Furthermore, the results showed evidence in how different reproductive tactics are related to body traits such as agility and size, which can influence on individuals reproductive success.

[en] SUPPLY PERFORMER: AN EVALUATION TOOL BASED ON THE SCOR REFERENCE MODEL / [pt] SUPPLY PERFORMER: UMA FERRAMENTA DE AVALIAÇÃO BASEADA NO MODELO DE REFERÊNCIA SCOR

KEILA PANZA BAESSO 19 June 2018 (has links)
[en] This dissertation presents a new automated tool to evaluate the processes of Supply Chain Management (SCM) based on the SCOR reference model, one of the most used models in the industry, according to the literature, but that still presents significant challenges for its adoption, notably in regards of its complexity and cost. To address these aspects, this work specified the functional requirements and a database with the whole SCORE structure, and implemented a prototype of the tool called Supply Performer, innovative because it helps SCOR deployment without the need of deep knowledge about the model, neither the hiring of a specialized consulting. To validate its applicability and generalization, the tool was used on a real case scenario and a 25 percent gain was observed in the diagnosis task of the clients and supplier registration process of a large multinational company. The tool also allowed the creation of a plan of action, and based on the identified gaps, to follow up the process improvement evolution. Its use enabled a quick delivery of results to the client, in a structured and organized way, turning SCORE into a more accessible model. On the basis of the promising results, the patent for the Supply Performer tool was registered on the INPI (Instituto Nacional da Propriedade Industrial) BR 51 2018 000240-4.
