[pt] A tese visa a demonstrar que o autor de Mensagem, acompanhado pela geração de artistas que colaboraram para a publicação da revista literária Orpheu, pretenderam criar um novo universo poético português, de maneira a inaugurar a modernidade literária no país. Para isso, argumenta-se, utilizaram e, de certa forma, ampliaram e transcenderam conceitos apresentados pelo poeta francês Charles Baudelaire. Partindo de uma definição de tais conceitos, sob a ótica de Baudelaire e Pessoa, define-se em que âmbito serão utilizados, e procede-se em caracterizar o artista moderno e, a partir deste, a diferença entre moderno e modernismo. Finalmente, discute-se a incidência de ambos no caso português, examinando-se as condições sócio-político-econômicas do início do século, a recepção da crítica às novas correntes estéticas apresentadas por Orpheu e o projeto poético do grupo de poetas que recebeu seu nome, destacando-se sempre o papel central, crítico e codificador assumido por Fernando Pessoa. / [en] This dissertation intends to show that the author of Mensagem and the generation of artists who contributed for literary magazine Orpheu s publication, intended to create a new portuguese poetic universe, in order to give birth to the country s literary modernity. In order to accomplish that, they used, broadened and transcended concepts taken from the french poet Charles Baudelaire. From such concepts definitions, their use s range isdefined by Baudelaire s and Pessoa s points of view, and are used to sketch the definition on modern artist and, from him, the difference between modern and modernism. Finally, it discuss the importance of both on the portuguese scenario, while examining the beginning of the century social-political-economic conditions in Portugal, critics reaction to the new aesthetics introduced in Orpheu and the groups poetic project, always highlighting Fernando Pessoa s leading role in critics and in codifying the movement s theoretical bases.

The analysis of the poem The Forest of Alienation is subsidized by own Pessoa s poetic ideas about the sensation and the forces, seeking for identify the mode of construction of his poem from the sensationist proposal. Having the theoretical foundation specially from the studies from José Gil and the philosophy from Deleuze and Guattari, the work searches, through the chosen poem, discuss the function of the body on the Pessoa s poetry, from the concept of body without organs , who shows us a body of sensations that acts beyond the organs of the senses and indicating, lastly, the creations of the new perspectives by the poetry / Esta dissertação tem por objetivo o estudo do poema de Fernando Pessoa Na Floresta do Alheamento , publicado no Livro do Desassossego, tendo como base o movimento literário criado pelo poeta: o Sensacionismo. Para tanto, iniciamos pela relação do poeta com a modernidade, para depois analisarmos mais profundamente a proposta do Sensacionismo e, em seguida, relacionarmos a proposta sensacionista com o texto filosófico de Fernando Pessoa/Álvaro de Campos Apontamentos para uma estética não-aristotélica . A análise do poema Na Floresta do Alheamento é subsidiada, assim, pelas próprias ideias poéticas de Pessoa acerca da sensação e das forças, buscando apontar o modo de construção de seu poema a partir da proposta do Sensacionismo. Tendo como fundamento teórico em especial os estudos de José Gil e a filosofia de Deleuze e Guattari, o trabalho busca, por meio do poema escolhido, discutir o papel do corpo na poesia de Pessoa, a partir do conceito de corpo sem órgãos , que nos indica um corpo de sensações que atua para além dos órgãos dos sentidos e indicando, por fim, a criação de novas percepções pela poesia

Pela aproximação de discursos que já à primeira vista deflagram suas disparidades o de Fernando Pessoa em Mensagem, e o de Agostinho Neto em Sagrada Esperança , delineiamse visões, acerca do papel da arte, cujo contraste lança novas luzes sobre a identidade e as peculiaridades de cada obra. Ao se traçar paralelos entre essas visões, dá-se a ocasião para discutir a questão do poder da literatura na busca por entendimento e melhoria da experiência humana no mundo. Com seus passeios pelos poemas e as interpretações propostas, esta dissertação busca perquirir os meios pelos quais o fazer poético daria conta de instaurar uma realidade própria que, embora ficcional, revela-se apta a exercer uma influência significativa no real objetivo / By bringing close two discourses as different as the ones in Message, by Fernando Pessoa, and Sacred Hope, by Agostinho Neto, contrasting visions of the role of art come forth, as new lights are cast on the identity and peculiarities of each work. Este trabalho consiste no estudo da noção de gênio em Fernando Pessoa. Delimita por objetivo a identificação e análise de seu alcance e grau de penetração tanto nas formulações estéticas quanto poéticas do autor. O estudo se divide em três frentes, que definem a metodologia utilizada e o recorte do corpus investigado. A primeira aborda o ethos do homem de gênio nas cartas a João Gaspar Simões, Adolfo Casais Monteiro e Armando Côrtes-Rodrigues. A segunda frente do trabalho propõe a análise dos textos teóricos de Pessoa sob a perspectiva do gênio, pormenorizadamente os escritos sobre a questão Shakespeare-Bacon. A terceira frente se concentrará no estudo das leituras que Fernando Pessoa realizou do historiador e ensaísta escocês Thomas Carlyle (1795 - 1881), mais especificamente da obra On Heroes, Hero-Workship,and The Heroic in History. / This work consists of a study of the notion of genius in Fernando Pessoa. This research delimits as its goal the identification and analysis of Fernando Pessoas genius both in his aesthetic formulations and his poetics. The present work is divided into three sections, each defined by the methodology used and the selection of the corpus being investigated. The first part addresses the ethos of the man of genius in the letters to João Gaspar Simões, Adolfo Casais Monteiro, and Armando Côrtes-Rodrigues. The second part aims to analyze Pessoas theoretical texts from the perspective of the genius, carefully examining the writings that reflect on Shakespeare-Bacon. The third part will focus on Fernando Pessoas readings of the Scottish historian and essayist Thomas Carlyle (1795-1881), specifically of Carlyles work On Heroes, Hero-Workship, and The Heroic in History.

On vera de quelle forme la mélancolie comme caractéristique de la modernité projete dans le Faust de Pessoa une autre phase du mythe faustique. On va analiser le retour subjectif sur soi-même comme une issue rencontré par le sujet poétique pour exprimer les temps modernes, dans la transformation/construction du Faust de Pessoa. On commence notre travail présentant um bref parcours historique des principales lectures du mythe de Faust dans la littérature ocidental, de Spiess, Marlowe, Goethe et Mann. À partir de ce parcours, on va vérifier comment le mythe de Faust s’apréhende dans la modernité par Fernando Pessoa. À propos du Faust de Pessoa, on découvre de quelle manière l’oeuvre est construite dans ses trois organisations, par les editeurs Freitas da Costa, Duílio Colombini et Teresa Sobral Cunha. Dans le chapitre suivant, on commence en présentant un embasement théorique des conceptions freudiennes du malaise dans la culture et la mélancolie. On va voir de quelle manière la mélancolie apparaît comme marque d’une époque orienté par la malaise. On va comprendre comment le malaise provoque dans l’être humain un délaissement hériter de sa subjetivité et caractéristique de la modernité. À la fin de notre travail, on va analiser comment les poèmes se relacionnent avec les thématiques de la mélancolie présente dans l’oeuvre du Faust de Pessoa. Nous comprenons le Faust de Pessoa comme une expression, à la fois, de la mélancolie et le génie de l’artiste. / A presente dissertação se propõe a analisar de que forma a compreensão freudiana de melancolia está presente no Fausto pessoano. Veremos de que forma a melancolia como característica da modernidade projeta, no Fausto de Pessoa, outro momento do mito fáustico. Analisaremos o retorno subjetivo para si como a saída encontrada, pelo sujeito poético, para expressar os tempos modernos, na transformação/construção do Fausto pessoano. Iniciamos nosso trabalho apresentando um breve percurso histórico sobre as principais leituras do mito de Fausto na Literatura Ocidental, em Spiess, Marlowe, Goethe e Mann. A partir desse percurso, verificamos como o mito de Fausto passa a ser apreendido na modernidade por Fernando Pessoa. Sobre o Fausto pessoano, percebemos como a obra é construída em suas três organizações pelos editores Freitas da Costa, Duílio Colombini e Teresa Sobral Cunha. No capítulo seguinte, iniciamos apresentando um embasamento teórico sobre as concepções freudianas de mal-estar na modernidade e melancolia. Observamos a maneira pela qual a melancolia aparece como traço de uma época orientada pelo mal-estar. Compreendemos de que forma o mal-estar provoca, no ser humano, um desamparo legado à sua subjetividade, traço da modernidade. Na parte final de nosso trabalho, analisamos como os poemas se relacionam com a temática da melancolia presente na obra do Fausto pessoano. Entendemos o Fausto de Pessoa como expressão, ao mesmo tempo, de melancolia e genialidade do artista.

A tese O Imaginário de Fernando Pessoa: da educação cindida à educação sentida investiga o universo simbólico da obra de Fernando Pessoa, analisando seus três principais heterônimos Alberto Caeiro, Álvaro de Campos e Ricardo Reis , além dos poemas assinados por ele mesmo. Após proceder à mitocrítica da referida obra, discutiu-se sobre sua relação com a educação e seus desdobramentos éticos, à luz de uma abertura pós-moderna. A base referencial fundamentou-se na Antropologia do Imaginário, de Gilbert Durand, contando com significativas contribuições de Edgar Morin, Michel Maffesoli, Gaston Bachelard, Georges Gusdorf, Mircea Eliade e Joseph Campbell, entre outros, e buscou um reposicionamento epistemológico, com a noção de trajeto antropológico, coincidentia oppositorum e razão sensível, ancoradas na pluralidade de sentidos organizada pelo mito. O objetivo é compreender a mitopoiesis pessoana, seu descentramento em heterônimos e os substratos míticos de sua obra, mostrando como sua criação poética relaciona-se com uma educação do imaginário, que opera a reunião dos saberes cindidos pela modernidade. / The thesis The imaginary of Fernando Pessoa: from the divided education to the sensible education investigates the symbolic universe of the works of Fernando Pessoa, analising his tree most important heteronymous Alberto Caeiro, Álvaro de Campos and Ricardo Reis -, besides poems signed by himself. After procedure a mythcritics of the mentioned work, one argue about his relationship with the education and its ethics results and effects, in a perspective of a post-modern landscape. The referential basis was founded in Antropology of the Imaginary, of Gilbert Durant, counting with important contributions of Edgar Morin, Michel Maffesoli, Gaston Bachelard, Georges Gusdorf, Mircea Eliade and Joseph Cambell, among others, and look a new epistemologic position, with the notion of anthropologic journey, coincidentia oppositorum and sensitive reason, based in the plurality of meanings organized by the myth. The aim is to understand the Pessoas mitopoiesis, his decentralizing in heteronymous and the mythics substracts of his work, pointing out how his poetic creation is related with an education of the imaginary, that makes the reunion of knowledges divided by the modernity.

Parte-se dos estudos da Comunicação, que apresentam um cenário descrito por diversos pesquisadores, segundo ideias como: redes (CASTELLS, 1999), ciberespaço e cibercultura (LÉVY, 2010), convergências (JENKINS, 2009), cultura da participação (SHIRKY, 2011), possibilidade de agência (MURRAY, 2003), ciborgue (HARAWAY, 2009), pós-modernidade e pós-humanismo (SANTAELLA, 2003), dentre outras. O interesse em percorrer estas ideias é o de indagar: O que podemos chamar de eu depois de Nietzsche, Freud, Lacan, Foucault, Deleuze e outros tantos pensadores? Como a definição de eu incide no entendimento do cenário de transformações mentais, sociais, culturais, econômicas, científicas, políticas e biológicas que se disseminam desde o final do século XX? Quais as implicações dessas questões nos estudos da Comunicação? A suposição de base é que essas transformações suscitaram outras concepções para entender os modos de ser e estar da espécie humana no aqui e agora, alterando o sentido do termo “eu” e de suas interseções teóricas (sujeito, subjetividade, indivíduo, ontologia). Suposição que toma corpo mediante a apresentação de duas perspectivas: uma, trazida pelo ferramental teórico-prático da psicanálise – na voz de pesquisadores como Freud, Lacan e Magno –, e outra, extraída da exemplaridade do ato poético de Fernando Pessoa. A primeira destaca conceitos como alienação, inconsciente, indiferenciação e “Pessoa” (conceito que esta pesquisa enfatiza). A segunda, aborda as ideias de (im)postura, potencialidade, experiência, genialidade desqualificada, não-lugar, (des)personalizações, eu-ninguém e abismo, ideias que contribuem para a proposta de, diante do tema proposto, pensar a contemporaneidade de Fernando Pessoa no que se refere às possibilidades comunicacionais hoje disponíveis. Busca-se com esta proposta um entendimento do eu para além das abordagens que o tratam segundo as ideias de multiplicidade ou flexibilização do self e da subjetividade, de patologias e mudanças de comportamentos atreladas aos dispositivos comunicacionais, de excessiva valorização da imagem e do imaginário ligada à exibição e à relação com o outro dependentes da lógica das redes tecnológicas. Trata-se, portanto, de explicitar algumas das indicações trazidas por Fernando Pessoa no início do século XX, e apresentar como estas indicações foram retomadas e retrabalhadas pela Nova Psicanálise (MD Magno) no sentido de acompanhar os modos de ser-e-estar (ou mal-estar, segundo Freud) da espécie humana e também de melhor entender a complexidade das ações, atos, manifestações e/ou fenômenos comunicacionais da atualidade. / "Who is the “ego” that communicates?" - This is the question that guides the context and the research of this proposal about the conceptions of the human in the contemporaneity, period of several historical and conceptual transformations. Starting with the Communication studies, which introduces a scenario described by several researchers, thoughts like: networks (CASTELLS, 1999); cyberspace and cyberculture (LÉVY, 2010); convergence (JENKINS, 2009); culture of participation (SHIRKY, 2011); possibility of agency (MURRAY, 2003); cyborg (HARAWAY, 2009); post-modern and post-humanism (SANTAELLA, 2003), among others. The interest in these ideas, propose the following questions: What means the expression “ego” after Nietzsche, Freud, Lacan, Foucault, Deleuze, and many other thinkers? How the definition of ego focuses on understanding the scenarios of mental, social, cultural, economic, scientific, political and biological transformations, spreading since the beginning of the late twentieth century? What are the implications of these issues in the communication studies? The basic assumption considers that these changes raised other concepts to understand the “ways of being” and “be” of the human species in the here and now, changing the meaning of the word "ego" and of their theoretical intersections (subject, subjectivity, individual, ontology). Supposition embodied by two perspectives: one brought by the theoretical and practical tools of psychoanalysis (in the words of researchers as Freud, Lacan and Magno), and the other extracted from the poetic act of Fernando Pessoa. The first emphasizes concepts such as alienation, unconscious, differentiation and a new conception of "Pessoa" (concept presented in this research). The second emphasizes the ideas of “(im)postura”, “potencialidade”, “experiência”, “genialidade desqualificada”, “não-lugar”, “(des)personalizações”, “eu-ninguém” e “abismo”, ideas that contribute to the purpose of this research before the proposed theme, think the contemporary Fernando Pessoa in relation to currently available communication possibilities. This proposition looking for the understanding beyond the approaches who treats the Ego according the ideas of multiplicity and flexibility of the self and subjectivity; pathologies and behavioral changes linked to communication devices; and excessive appreciation of the image and the imaginary linked to the display and the relationship with the other. The research intended to explain some of the indications introduced by Fernando Pessoa in the early twentieth century, and present how these were taken up and reworked by the New Psychoanalysis (MD Magno), following the ways of being and be (recalling Freud in Civilization and its Discontents – original title: “Das Unbehagen in der Kultur”) of the human species and also bring a better understanding of the complexity of actions, acts, demonstrations and/or communications phenomena of our time.
