The work deals with the separation of a child when entering kindergarten and aims to describe the symptoms of a child who is separated from his parents. First, we define the concept of preschool age, and then it is characterized in terms of developmental psychology, which is investigated further by the socialization of the child. Other chapters describe pre-school education and kindergarten as an institution and of course the very notion of separation. The subchapters deal with the connection, the actual separation, the fear of separation, the child's behavior and how the parents or the child's homeroom teacher can help in this process. The research is devoted to case studies and seeks a way to answer the main research question: How does a child express itself during separation? The knowledge we gain through participant observation of one boy and indepth semi-structured interviews with his mother.

Užití efektivní komunikace v mateřské škole typu montessori a v církevní mateřské škole / The usage of effective ways of communication in kindergarten.

The thesis deals with using of an effective approach embedded in a school education program of montessori kindergarten and church kindergarten. The theoretical part describes the effective communication, basic effective communication skills and ineffective communication skills, needs and emotion. Further thesis deals with a general educational program for preschool education, a school educational program and the scope of effective communication in a general educational program for preschool education. Last but not least it deals with an alternative education and the scope of an effective communication in a montessori pedagogy and a church education. The practical part includes a research focused mainly on what type of pedagogy approach and how often are the effective communication skills used in these kindergartens (Viva Bambini and church kindergarten Lipenská). Effective communication is embedded in the school educational program of both of these kindergartens. Both kindergartens have a different pedagogical approach. The kindergarten Viva Bambini puts emphasis on a development of sensory perception and an isolation of particular property. The church kindergarten Lipenská focuses an attention on a spiritual development of child and a limitation of religious content on a particular topic. The greatest principle is love and an establishing of the relationship with God.

However, children with physical deficiency, such as children with cerebral palsy, for presenting a disorder on the muscular tonus and on the posture, may have difficulties in carrying through this playful experience in many contexts, especially in school environment. In the current time, for many of these children, it is possible to create a facilitator environment of this process of playing through the use of resources of assistive technology. In this perspective, the present study had the objective to elaborate and implement individualized programs of intervention based on playful activities, coming from the knowledge of the Occupational Therapy and to evaluate its effect. The related individualized programs had been supported in resources of low assistive technology for the participation of children with cerebral palsy in the school context of the kindergarten. Three children with the diagnosis of Cerebral Palsy, of the spastic type, enrolled in a private regular education of the kindergarten, in a medium size city of Sao Paulo state and its respective professors, participated in this study. The instruments used for the collection of data were: a script of interview for the professors on the participation of its pupils in the playful activities in Kindergarten (REPPAAL-EI) and the Canadian Occupational Performance Measure (COPM) used as indirect measurement. Both were applied for the professors and the Protocol of the Playful Model, as direct measurement in order to observe the child with cerebral palsy in the playful activities of the kindergarten. The results demonstrated that the intervention program promoted improvement in the performance of the children in relation of the participation on the playful activities in the school context, corroborating with the objective of the current research. Moreover, it promoted benefits that made it easier the process of inclusion of these children in school environments. / O brincar é considerado um processo natural e fundamental para o desenvolvimento de várias habilidades na infância. No entanto, crianças com deficiência física, dentre elas, as crianças com paralisia cerebral, por apresentarem uma desordem do tônus muscular e na postura, podem ter dificuldades em realizar essa vivência lúdica nos diversos contextos, inclusive em âmbito escolar. Na atualidade, para muitas dessas crianças, é possível criar um ambiente facilitador desse processo de brincar por meio do uso de recursos de tecnologia assistiva. Nessa perspectiva, o presente estudo teve por objetivo elaborar, implementar programas individualizados de intervenção baseado em atividades lúdicas, à luz dos pressupostos advindos do campo da Terapia Ocupacional e avaliar seus efeitos. Os referidos programas individualizados foram apoiados em recursos de baixa tecnologia assistiva para a participação de crianças com paralisia cerebral no contexto escolar da educação infantil. Participaram deste estudo, três crianças com o diagnóstico de Paralisia Cerebral, do tipo espástica, matriculadas no ensino regular público e privado da Educação Infantil, de uma cidade de médio porte do estado de São Paulo e seus respectivos professores. Os instrumentos utilizados para a coleta de dados foram: um roteiro de entrevista para os professores sobre a participação dos seus alunos nas atividades lúdicas na Educação Infantil (REPPAAL-EI) e a Medida Canadense de Desempenho Ocupacional (COPM) utilizados como medida indireta. Ambos foram aplicados ao professor e o Protocolo do Modelo Lúdico, como medida direta para observar a criança com paralisia cerebral nas atividades lúdicas da Educação Infantil. Os resultados demonstraram que a realização do programa de intervenção propiciou uma melhora no desempenho das crianças em relação a participação nas atividades lúdicas desenvolvidas no contexto da Educação Infantil, corroborando com o objetivo da presente pesquisa. Além disso, promoveu benefícios que facilitou o processo de inclusão dessas crianças no ambiente escolar.

This work is focused on children at preschool age from these points of view: biology, psychology, sociology and pedagogy with the consideration to the evolution of child´s personality at kindergarten. The work results from the General Educational Program for Preschool Education at kindergartens which wants to extend and deepen single topics about the spiritual factors of the child. In practical part there are proposals of topics for the work with preschool children for three-year period. These topics relate to single periods of liturgical and calendar year. In the form of game the children are approaching to single periods during the school year by the help of symbols which are typical for each period.

Model založení Montessori zařízení pro děti v předškolním věku / A Model of Montessori Institution for Pre-school Children

The aim of the work was to set up a model of a pre-school institution which will educate children in the way of Marie Montessori´s alternative pedagogical conception. To fulfil the main goal, a particular aim was first carried out {--} Montessori pre-school institutional practices in the Czech Republic were mapped and some photos were taken. The aim was completed by empirical data collection during visiting nine out of eleven addressed Montessori institutions and by an interview with a professional in this field. The research was realized through the open interviews with the heads or teachers of Montessori classes. Based on the data collection, the main goal, a model of Montessori institution for pre-school children,could be completed. The plan depicts the goals of this institution, a target group, legal forms, economical balance, services offered, special interest activities, methods and forms of work, personnel, operating parameters, space and material equipment together with variants of dispositions, evaluation and sustainability. Completeness and transparency of the plan, which is based on the research realized, enable to carry it out at any place in the Czech Republic. The thesis can also inspire existing Montessori institutions to make changes or innovations.

This thesis is in its theoretical part focusing on reading literacy, reading pre-literacy, projects to promote literacy in the Czech Republic and reading corner in kindergarten.The research is based on qualitative research using a strategy of multiple case studies of purposely chosen kindergartens and methods of observation, interviews and content analysis.The aim of this research was to determine how and for what purpose the reading corner in kindergartens is used. The basic research questions are: How the reading corners help in the development of reading literacy in kindergartens, specific research questions elaborate it as follows: How can reading corner be equipped in kindergarten; how kindergarten schools receive books and magazines; how well do they know today's market offerings; what activities are implemented in reading corner in kindergarten; what led the teacher / director to create a reading corner; how does children feel about the reading corner themselves. The results showed a diverse approach to the phenomenon of kindergarten reading corner. Kindergartens agreed on the positive impact of reading corners on the development of reading pre-literacy of girls and boys, especially in the case of free children's games, as well as in controlled activities. The thesis will provide suggestion for cooperation of a kindergarten and a family in contemporary life conditions by the means of authorial musical dramatic script. The diplomate will partially utilise results of her bachelor's thesis that she will elaborate theoretically, methodically and practically. She will carry out the pedagogical-psychological characteristics of a preschool age child from the point of view of his or her ethical profile and aesthetic feeling creation especially through the medium of project teaching. The practical part will consist of authorial script that the student will design as an integration of musical, dramatic and artistic activities in a creative cooperation of preschool age children, parents, grandparents and other contributors. The results of this thesis will be realised artistically and publicly. The diplomate will examine the efficacy of this artistic aesthetic aim by the means of analysis authorial script, surveys and interviews with actors and the audience.

This submitted thesis deals with the exclusive education of kindergarten aged children. The main purpose of this thesis is to chart the preparedness of the kindergarteners for inclusive education of children with visual impairment in the South Bohemian Region. The subject is being processed according to theoretical and practical background of special education and related fields. The researched area of interest is judged on a basis of set conditions based on a concept of inclusive pedagogy. Analysis of the questionnaire research is bringing a view of preschool educators who have experience with the education of children with visual impairment. Examples of good practice are presented, which complement and support a view of information gained with first grade educators, who also have experience with teaching visual impaired children. Outcomes for practice are made as Activities Concepts or children with visual impairments. Concepts are created as suggestions or inspiration for kindergarten educators, where there are visually impaired children. Activities are created so they can be applied throughout the day care centre's routine, and involves the participation of all preschool children.

Získávání a výběr pedagogických pracovníků v mateřské škole / Recruitment and selection of pedagogical employees in kindergarten

The diploma thesis deals with the personnel management practices of recruitment and selection of employees. The theoretical part provides a brief description of the development of human resources management and an outline of the constituent personnel management practices. The steps undertaken by an organisation in the process of recruitment of employees are described thoroughly, from identifying job openings till designing and publishing a job advertisement. The main methods of employee selection are mentioned, followed by a more detailed description of the selection interview. The empirical part of the thesis focuses on the field of pre-primary education. It examines the current circumstances of recruitment and selection of pedagogical employees in selected kindergartens in Prague. It investigates which methods and techniques are used in these personnel management practices and it scrutinizes the factors that influence them. The results of the inquiry show that the recruitment and selection of pedagogues are executed on an adequate level in the selected schools. The schools use their internal capacities to perform these tasks and they apply a combination of methods.
