The subject of the thesis is a research focused on the part of dynamic spatial memory. In the research there have been made simple scenarios, which were carried out by a selected group of four year old children. Objective of the work is to determine the extent of dynamic spatial memory in the sample of four year old children on the basis of obtained theoretical knowledge. Furthermore, to determine the quality of dynamic spatial memory in four year old children and find extent of remembering instructions (mixed communication). Based on the research findings to contribute to the improvement of professional competence kindergarten teachers working in the field of cognitive processes, without which mathematical thinking could not be developed properly. The expected outcome of the thesis is the preparation of documents designated for kindergarten teachers, which would provide them with an instructive view of examined issue. The content of work is also notification of possible cause dissonance theory and resulting analyses and proposals of corrective measures that belong to kindergarten teacher competence.

Porovnávající studie přirozeně bilingvních dětí a dětí navštěvujících dvojjazyčnou výchovnou instituci / Comparative study of naturally bilingual children and children attending a bilingual educational institution

The topic of this work is bilingualism in children coming from bilingual families, and children visiting bilingual or foreign language preschools. The theoretical part puts emphasis mainly on the specifics of children's bilingualism and bilingualism in general as well as characteristics of bilingual families and language focused preschool institutions. Furthermore, describes the general language development in children and compares it with the language development at simultaneous bilingual children, ie raised bilingual in the family since birth. The practical part has a mapping study of bilingualism in children with preschool ages. The research method is an online questionnaire presented to parents. The research sample includes 45 children. The data are compared between child-brought up in a bilingual family and children attending bilingual preschools. At the same time indicates a general tendency for bilingual education. An interesting finding is that the parents of children who want to raise their children in this kind of bilingual education do not prepare in any way and that the weaker language of the child, which is learning in pre-school, is reflected in his egocentric speech. The thesis dealt with the basic elements of gymnastics in nursery schools in relation to education teachers. The aim of the study was to determine whether education kindergarten teachers in physical education, acquired at secondary pedagogical schools and faculties, is sufficient for quality management of physical activities and specifically gymnastic activities in nursery schools. The paper used two research methods: analysis of educational programs teaching schools from internet sources and interview teachers of kindergartens. The research was divided into three thematic areas. In the first part was analyzed curricula for secondary school teachers and teaching faculties devoted to physical education, has been found to the current state of education in this area. The second was investigated by questionnaire method glance graduates on their education in physical education. Emphasis was placed on their particular experience and personal opinion. The third area is also through the questionnaire dealt with the application of acquired knowledge and skills of teachers in practice. By analyzing the data the third lap was detected level of sports activities in the field of gymnastics to children in kindergartens.

This final thesis deals with the topic of Managerial competence of managers of kindergartens in the Czech Republic. It is based on the current needs of kindergartens to describe the issue of managerial competencies for each management position in this type of school, especially with accordance to their further education and evaluation. Aim of this diploma work is to analyze and identify the key managerial competencies that are substantial and significant for individual performance management functions in kindergartens. Its first part is focused on the explanation of the theoretical approaches. The research part presents some of the findings on the issue of competence, offers a competency model for managerial positions in the nursery schools, and helps to explain the current educational needs of their managers. Final part of this work suggests recommendations to the founders, directors and other executive workers of nursery schools or educational centers for lifelong learning.

Equitable Early Childhood Education for Young Bilingual Learners in North Texas: Examining Kindergarten Entry Assessments for Bilingual Children

A considerable amount of research has been done surrounding education in classrooms from kindergarten to Grade 12, but little research has been done surrounding early childhood education (ECE) beginning with birth to age 4. As a result, research is needed that examines interventions aimed to improve the quality of early childhood education for young bilingual learners at the earliest stages of schooling. The present study examines current efforts to serve the specific population of young bilingual children entering classrooms in an urban school district in North Texas. The focus of this study includes the access and examination of quality ECE programs (defined by the extent to which bilingual children have access to bilingual education programming). The present study also observes the visibility of young bilingual children who receive services that are responsive to their characteristics, experiences, and specific needs. Lastly, this study used a multiple regression analysis to examine the Kindergarten Early Assessment test that has been put in place to measure the school readiness performance of bilingual children in this urban district. Specifically, the analysis included program type, language of assessment, socio-economic status and gender variables.

This research uses the concept of the Theory of subjectivity from Gonz?lez Rey as its foundation, and it focuses in the identification of the cores of senses of the participating children and the social subjectivity as in important element of this constitution. The Qualitative Epistemology in as used to understand the information, derived from two cases studies: the first one with a focus an aggressiveness and the second one focusing on the self-esteem. The research also displays an overview of the social aspect of the group. Sixteen children, age from five to six years old, of the same class of a Children s Education Institute in Campinas participated, and the methodological instruments used were observation of the individuals, puppet theatre (drama), elaboration of a sociograma and free drawing with intent of corroborating the answers from the children to the teacher and pedagogical coordination of the institute also participated in free discussion meetings, and were very important to understand the characteristics of the participating children. The present essay show that elements of the social subjectivity are determining factors to the constitution of the individual s subjective configurations and that the existence of the other as a beaver of subjective senses also contributes to the constitution of the individual subjective. / O objetivo do presente estudo foi identificar e entender como se constituem os sentidos subjetivos de crian?as pr? escolares. Nesta pesquisa embasou-se no conceito da Teoria da Subjetividade de Gonz?lez Rey, e enfocou as identifica??es dos n?cleos de sentidos para as crian?as participantes, a subjetividade social como elemento importante para esta constitui??o. A Epistemologia Qualitativa foi a utilizada para compreender as informa??es que foram constru?das em dois estudos de caso: o primeiro com enfoque na agressividade e o segundo na auto-estima. A pesquisa tamb?m mostra uma vis?o geral sobre o aspecto social do grupo. Participaram 16 crian?as com cinco e seis anos de uma mesma classe de uma Institui??o de Educa??o Infantil de Campinas, e os instrumentos metodol?gicos utilizados foram observa??o participante, teatro de fantoches, a elabora??o de um sociograma e desenho livre com o intuito de corroborar as respostas dadas pelas crian?as no sociograma. A professora a coordena??o pedag?gica da institui??o tamb?m participaram em encontros de conversa??o livre e foram fundamentais para a compreens?o das caracter?sticas das crian?as participantes. O presente estudo mostrou que elementos da subjetividade social s?o fatores determinantes para a constitui??o das configura??es subjetivas do individuo e que a exist?ncia do outro como portador de sentidos subjetivos tamb?m contribui para a constitui??o da subjetividade individual.
