continued formation of the educational professionals. In this direction, it points and it defends the dialogue in the perspective of David Bohm, with interfaces of the freireanas ideas, as a methodological resource of action that allows the
organization of strategies of collective and effective pedagogical support in inclusive schools, in the same time articulates the continued formation of the professionals in education. Characterized as research in a dialogical action with collective participation and collaboration, it counted with the participation of 87 educators, between professors, pedagogical, managing coordinators and specialists of special education in two schools of the state and municipal public
system of Natal/RN. The results had pointed with respect to the viability of the dialogue as articulated methodological tool of the continued formation in service, when providing the establishment of personal and professional relationship between the educators, favoring the discursive enjoyment of the lived experiences, allows the organization of strategies of collective and effective pedagogical support in the scholar environment. On the basis of these results, this work also points to some items to reflections as the reorganization
of the Secretariats and the schools, in the direction to brighten up the fragmentation and the discontinuity of the pedagogical actions evidenced and to instigate a process of changes that has glimpsed the professional development

Previous issue date: 2014-04-28 / Coordena??o de Aperfei?oamento de Pessoal de N?vel Superior (CAPES) / O presente trabalho tem como objetivo discorrer sobre a situa??o do di?logo entre duas das formas de se pensar o processo sa?de-doen?a: a medicina tradicional e a medicina cient?fica, sendo essa ?ltima representada pelo Sistema ?nico de Sa?de, mais especificamente por uma Equipe de Sa?de da Fam?lia. Partindo do questionamento ?qual o papel de cada sistema de sa?de no que concerne aos males da sa?de e na preven??o de doen?as??, quer-se verificar se h? a realiza??o da ?Ecologia dos Saberes?, discutida por Santos (2007), nessas duas maneiras de se pensar e fazer sa?de, onde cada uma, com suas (im)possibilidades, age diretamente no cotidiano do locus da pesquisa: o Distrito de S?o Jo?o do Abade, no Munic?pio de Curu??/PA, e a Equipe de Sa?de da Fam?lia Abade, localizada nesse Distrito. Esse estudo foi realizado a partir de instrumentos de coleta de dados como a pesquisa de campo, observa??o direta e entrevistas semi-estruturadas (HAGUETTE, 1997) e aportada teoricamente em alguns dos conceitos-chave mais utilizados pelas Epistemologias do Sul, onde destacamos a ?Ecologia dos Saberes? pr?tica profissional do tecn?logo em constru??o de edif?cios. Nesse contexto, a pesquisa
contribuiu para a discuss?o acerca da natureza de compet?ncias e habilidades requeridas para
ocupa??es profissionais historicamente caracterizadas como predominantemente pr?ticas, no
sentido de fundadas em saberes pr?ticos, extra-acad?micos e pragm?ticos (saber-fazer), em
contraste com compet?ncias simb?lico-formais fundadas em saberes formais-conceituais
(saber-dizer). A tese encontra-se fundamentada na perspectiva da psicologia hist?rico-cultural
e amparada pela proposta te?rico-metodol?gica da Cl?nica da Atividade. A pesquisa foi
realizada com egressos, professores e gestores do Curso Superior de Tecnologia em
Constru??o de Edif?cios. Para atingimento dos objetivos esperados adotou-se a combina??o de
m?todos quantitativos e qualitativos de produ??o e an?lise dos dados. Na etapa quantitativa,
aplicou-se um question?rio socioprofissional, obtendo-se o retorno de 41(quarenta e um)
participantes. A an?lise dos dados quantitativos foi realizada atrav?s de estat?stica descritiva
uni e multidimensional, complementada por an?lise estat?stica inferencial. Na etapa
qualitativa, realizou-se consulta a documentos oficiais de natureza pedag?gica, entrevistas
semi-dirigidas com professores e gestores do curso e, por fim, as entrevistas de Instru??o ao
S?sia (IaS) com egressos. Esta etapa foi executada atrav?s de an?lise cl?nico-interpretativa,
tendo por base a perspectiva hist?rico-cultural vigotskiana e a abordagem social das
compet?ncias e habilidades. Os resultados analisados permitiram constatar que os
profissionais s?o, na maioria jovens (m?dia de idade de 26 anos e 06 meses), 58,6% do sexo
feminino, 58,5% solteiros e somente 19,5% tem filhos. Tamb?m averiguou-se que a profiss?o
de tecn?logo em constru??o de edif?cios tem servido como est?gio preliminar ou caminho de
passagem em dire??o a outra forma??o e ocupa??o profissional, ?quela de engenheiro civil.
As principais compet?ncias requeridas do tecn?logo em constru??o de edif?cios recobrem os
dom?nios da gest?o, projetos e or?amento. Conclui-se que a ocupa??o profissional do
tecn?logo em constru??o de edif?cios apresenta uma forma??o s?lida e atualizada com as
demandas do mercado de trabalho, havendo concatena??o entre os conhecimentos te?ricos e
pr?ticos em fun??o das estrat?gias pedag?gicas utilizadas durante o processo de forma??o
profissional, segundo avalia??o dos sujeitos participantes. No entanto, ainda tem sua ?rea de
especificidade estabelecida notadamente em rela??o aos engenheiros civis. Por esta raz?o,
percebe-se que h? uma necessidade de consolida??o da identidade profissional do tecn?logo
em constru??o de edif?cios junto ?s entidades regulamentadoras da profiss?o e ao mercado de
trabalho. / The present doctorate research aimed to investigate competencies in training and professional
practice of technologists in building construction. The research contributed in this context to
the discussion about the nature of competencies and skills required for professional
occupations historically characterized as predominantly practical, founded on practical, extraacademic
and pragmatic knowledge (know-what), in contrast to symbolic-formal
competencies based on formal and conceptual knowledge (know-how). The thesis is based on
the perspective of the historical-cultural psychology and supported by theoretical and
methodological proposals of Clinic of Activity. The survey was conducted with certified
professionals (former students), teachers and managers participating in the Course of
Technology in Building Construction. A combination of quantitative and qualitative methods
of production and data analysis was adopted for achievement of expected goals. A socioprofessional
survey was applied in the quantitative step, 41 (forty one) participants having
returned the on-line questionnaire. The quantitative data analysis was performed using
descriptive uni and multidimensional statistic methods, completed by inferential statistical
analysis. Official pedagogical documents were inspected in the qualitative stage, what was
completed by semi-structured interviews with teachers and managers and Instruction to the
Double interviews with professionals. This step was based on clinical and interpretative
analysis, based on the cultural-historical Vygotskian perspective and the social approach to
competencies and skills. Results allowed verifying that professionals are mostly young
(average age of 26 years and 06 months), 58.6% of participants being female, 58.5% single
and only 19.5% having children. It was also verified that the profession of technologist in
construction of buildings is considered as a preliminary stage or passageway toward other
training and professional occupations, especially civil engineering. The main competencies
required from technologist in construction of buildings encompass areas of management,
project and budget. Final conclusion stresses that the occupation of technologist in
construction of buildings has a solid background in terms of formation, connected to demands
of the labor market and based on theoretical and practical knowledge issued from previous
training process, according to the evaluation of participants. However, this professional
occupation is still referred to civil engineering. For this reason, a need for consolidation of
professional identity of technologist in building construction by the regulators of the
professional activity and by the labor market is required.

Outras investigações envolvendo a utilização da linguagem LOGO são mencionadas, bem como suas influências para o trabalho. A partir dos dados analisados qualitativamente, observou-se um crescente interesse pelo estudo dos tópicos de Geometria e um avanço nas elaborações de estratégias de soluções de problemas. Ao final deste trabalho, encontra-se a sequência didática elaborada e aplicada, produto desta dissertação. / This dissertation presents a didactic proposal developed in a school of Adventist Education in the city of Cachoeirinha, which used the LOGO language in Mathematic classes. The practical experiment was conducted with students in the seventh grade of elementary school and supported by the theories of Seymour Papert and Gerard Vergnaud, and tried to answer the following question: How the use of the LOGO environment can help the learning of the concepts of angles and Cartesian Coordinates, which were studied during elementary school? Further investigations involving the use of LOGO language are mentioned, as well as their influences for this paper. From the qualitatively analyzed data, it was noticed a growing interest in the study of topics of Geometry and an improvement in the elaboration of strategies for problem solving. At the final of this work, we can find the didactic sequence, made and applied, product of this dissertation.

CrawLogo: An Experiment in End-User Programming for Web-Enabled ApplicationsNilsson, Johan January 2003 (has links)
With the rise of the Web, there is more interest among end-users to create different kinds of software that use elements from the Web or allow for networked interaction between users. Currently however, many available tools for this purpose are hard to use or lack a sufficient level of expressiveness. To provide new insights on the construction of tools that allow end-users to create their own Web-enabled software, this thesis explores design issues and consequences of applying the Turtle metaphor from the Logo-programming language to an end-user programming environment for Web-enabled applications. In order to explore this, CrawLogo was created - a programmable end-user tool that supports the creation of Web-enabled applications using a Turtle-like control metaphor and language adapted from Logo. As a proof-of-concept, several Web-enabled applications were created using this new tool, including CrawLogo Pong, a somewhat alternative version of Atari’s classic Pong game, and a collaborative browsing environment, in which users can browse the Web together. The resulting CrawLogo environment allows for creating Web-enabled applications that - using more traditional programming languages - would be quite complex and require deep technical programming skills. Further, while utilizing a Turtle-like control metaphor in CrawLogo allows for the creation of some new types of applications and some new ways of interacting with the Web, it also raises new problems such as how to successfully design within the CrawLogo metaphor and how to create a meaningful representation of Turtle- geometry-based navigation on the Web.

Comprimento telomérico no sistema nervoso central de um modelo de doença de Alzheimer tratado com lítio / Telomere length in the central nervous system of a model for Alzheimer\'s disease treated with lithiumGiancarlo de Mattos Cardillo 02 April 2018 (has links)
Telômeros são complexos DNA-proteína presentes nas extremidades dos cromossomos. Os telômeros se encurtam a cada divisão celular, sendo o comprimento telomérico, portanto, considerado um biomarcador do envelhecimento celular. Esse encurtamento é vinculado a diversas doenças relacionadas à idade avançada. Na doença de Alzheimer (DA), têm sido associados com diversas vias fisiopatológicas, como a neuroinflamação e o estresse oxidativo, porém seus mecanismos ainda são pouco conhecidos. A maioria dos estudos sobre comprimento telomérico na DA é realizada em DNA leucocitário, pouco se sabendo sobre seu estado no sistema nervoso central. O lítio é um importante estabilizador de humor, com efeitos neuroprotetores amplamente evidenciados, mas pouco se sabe sobre seu efeito na manutenção do comprimento telomérico. O objetivo do presente estudo foi avaliar o efeito do tratamento crônico com lítio no comprimento telomérico em diferentes regiões cerebrais (córtex parietal, hipocampo e epitélio olfatório) de camundongos triplo transgênicos para DA (3xTg-AD) e selvagens. Dezoito animais transgênicos e 22 selvagens foram tratados por oito meses com ração contendo 1,0 g (Li1) ou 2,0 g (Li2) de carbonato de lítio/kg, ou ração padrão (Li0). O comprimento telomérico do DNA extraído destes tecidos foi quantificado por PCR em tempo real. O tratamento crônico com lítio foi associado a telômeros mais longos no córtex parietal (Li1, p=0,04) e hipocampo (Li2, p=0,02) dos camundongos 3xTg-AD comparados com os respectivos selvagens. Nossos achados sugerem que o tratamento crônico com lítio afeta a manutenção do comprimento telomérico, mas que a magnitude desse efeito depende da concentração de lítio ministrada e das características do tecido envolvido. Esse efeito foi apenas observado quando comparando os animais triplo transgênicos com os selvagens, indicando que a presença da patologia, no caso a DA, se faz necessária para a modulação do comprimento telomérico promovida pelo lítio / Telomeres are DNA-protein complexes present in the extremities of chromosomes. Telomeres shorten at each cell division, being the telomere length, therefore, considered a cell aging biomarker. This telomere shortening is associated to several age-related diseases. In Alzheimer\'s disease (AD), telomere length has been linked to several pathophysiological pathways, such as neuroinflammation and oxidative stress, though its mechanism are still poorly understood. Majority of studies regarding telomere length in AD are based in leucocyte DNA, with little information about its status in the central nervous system. Lithium is an important mood stabilizer, with neuroprotective effects widely evidenced, but little is known about its effects in telomere length maintenance. The objective of this present study was to evaluate the effect of chronical lithium treatment on telomere length in different brain regions (parietal cortex, hippocampus and olfactory epithelium) of wild type and triple transgenic mice model for AD (3xTg-AD). Eighteen transgenic and 22 wild type male mice were treated for eight months with chow containing 1.0g (Li1) or 2.0g (Li2) of lithium carbonate/kg, or standard chow (Li0). Telomere length of extracted DNA from theses tissues was quantified by real-time PCR. Chronic lithium treatment was associated with longer telomeres in the parietal cortex (Li1, p=0.04) and in the hippocampus (Li2, p=0.02)of 3xTg-AD compared with the respective wild type.Our findings suggest that chronic lithium treatment does affect telomere maintenance, but the magnitude of this effect depends on the working concentrations of lithium and characteristics of the involved tissue. This effect was only observed when comparing triple transgenic with wild type mice, suggesting that the presence of AD pathology was required for the lithium modulation of telomere length

The purposes of this study were (1) to determine if learning to program a computer in either BASIC or Logo improves the problem-solving skills of fifth grade students when compared to a control group that receives no programming instruction, and (2) to determine if learning to program a computer in Logo is more effective than learning to program in BASIC for improving problem-solving skills in fifth grade students. Subjects were 132 fifth graders from two suburban elementary schools. The materials used in the study were the Computer Challenge Guide for the BASIC group and Logo in the Classroom for the Logo group. The New Jersey Test of Reasoning Skills was used as the pretest and posttest measure.

The thesis defines a concept of organic food and a closer look is given to an organic agriculture - a place of origin for organic food. The second part discusses benefits of organic food for consumers and looks for consumer purchase motives. Third and fourth part is devoted to rules of labeling and opportunities for improvement in this area. Other consumer brands and a current state on organic food market are presented here as well. Variety of products offered and availability of organic food at the particular points of sale are analyzed in the final part.
