Design d'expériences transmédia pour l'engagement en formation (DEEXTEF) / Design of transmedia experiences for training engagementMbambe Bebey, Danielle 19 December 2018 (has links)
We describe the phenomenon of engagement through co-constructed transmedia experiences with the beneficiaries in the context of adult education. We approach this ground on the assumption that a transmedia with experiential value makes it possible to increase the participation of subjects to consolidate the commitment in training. This hypothesis opens up the prospect of a transmedia type of mediation capable of integrating the objectives of scientific exploitation for the commitment and enhancement of participation and the attention that could be interesting for other corpuses. Based on an analysis framework focused on the beneficiaries of transactions, our survey highlighted different forms of hybrid transmedia engagement with specific characteristics. The complementarity of these transmedia has favoured various commitment regimes observed on an ad hoc basis for a long-term commitment.

[en] THE EMERGENCE OF THE REAL IN THEATRICAL EXPERIENCE / [pt] A EMERGÊNCIA DO REAL NA EXPERIÊNCIA TEATRALBRUNO SANTOS AUGUSTO 27 March 2019 (has links)
[en] The master thesis The Emergence of the Real in Theatrical Experience offers a critical view on the play Nu de mim mesmo (Nude of myself) staged in Rio de Janeiro, in 2008, by the Companhia Teatro Autônomo (Autonomous Theatre Company) which represents an innovative reference in the Carioca theatre scenery of the past twenty years. Created in a collaborative process involving actors and the direction of Jefferson Miranda, in partnership with Flavio Graff, this production, based on the theatrical field in its specificity and materiality, also establishes dialogues with the fields of Literature, Fine Arts and Cinema. Throughout a metalinguistic driven investigation, the group can be inserted into a particular branch of the contemporary theatre that questions its own limits, offering an advantageous experimental field to the intercrossing of various medias. Within this scope, with an approach that is close to the constructivist perspective, the thesis rehearses alternative forms of understanding contemporary theatre, and analyzes concepts such as reality, meaning and identity, all of them understood beyond the reality/fiction dichotomy.

Transmedia STEM Intervention Book in Middle School for Educational ChangeStansell, Alicia 05 1900 (has links)
The world is becoming a global place in which science, technology, engineering and mathematics hold a key to a successful future. To help secure this future it is important to engage students early with relevant curriculum that sparks interest and success in STEM fields. However, education reform occurs slowly, so this paper looked at a potential paradigm that can help to bring about change in a middle school environment that harnesses the long standing strengths of learning and education with the integration of technology to create changes in the pedagogy of learners and teachers. The study implemented a transmedia STEM book and evaluated the impact it had on student perceptions of STEM, school attitude, academic achievement, and preferred activity types, providing an example vehicle for change that can be adopted over time. The main findings showed that students who used a 3-Dimensional printer had higher math achievement and a more positive perception of math.

Le DVD et la transformation des séries TV en oeuvres : le cas de la réception des séries TV d'animation japonaise en Europe / The DVD and the transformation of TV series into collectibles : the case of the reception of Japanese animated TV series in EuropeBeldi, Ariane 18 October 2013 (has links)
Since the end of the 1990’s, most Japanese animated TV series have been arriving in Europe as DVDs, even though they used to be the main content of children TV programs 30 years ago. Breaking away from the usual marketing circuit which usually imposes a television broadcasting of a series before it is edited for the video market, animes on DVD illustrate a form of TV series « demediation ». Through this “repackaging” process, they are turned from regular TV programs into collectibles, directly sold to consumers . This dissertation studies the ways anime publics accept or not this logic of collecting TV series. The hypothesis offered is that of cine-videophilie, based on the premisse of a convergence of formerly distinct cinephile and videophile practices. This research combines reception studies and sociology of technology, thus highlighting under this specific angle some present developments in the transmédia processes at work within the audiovisual entertainment industries.

Previous issue date: 2014-08-18 / Important Brazilian children's literature author, Monteiro Lobato created with his books of "Sítio do Picapau Amarelo" a universe that remains and influences the imaginary of Brazilian population until today. This universe is not restricted only to literature, it expanded also in other media over almost ninety years, through TV shows, comic books, movies, and other media. In 2011 became available online the portal "Mundo do Sítio", first transmedia project product based on the work of Lobato. Besides the portal, the design transmedia of the "Sítio" also features an animation, social networking pages and a physical themed space located in Mairiporã-SP. The present research attempts to identify how the current transmedia project was developed from a universe already known and how it leverages influences from other adaptations to reintroduce the "Sítio" to a new generation. To do this, we conducted initially a historical survey of all the productions with the brand of the "Sítio", since the publication of the books by Monteiro Lobato, and then, we analyze the portal and identify its main transmedia characteristics and their relationship with the other productions made with the brand. Transmedia design of the "Sítio" uses elements developed in other adaptations of the work of Lobato and continues the expansion of the fictional universe, re-creating your space and encouraging their users to experience a playful way of that universe. With the animation, the story is expanded; presenting new information about the universe without mischaracterize the main characteristics developed by Lobato. Through social networks, users participate actively, both to assess the functioning of the Portal and how to develop productions based on the universe of the "Sítio". Finally, the portal uses features present in the text of Lobato that work effectively in the development of a TransMedia narrative.

Previous issue date: 2013-06-21 / Coordenação de Aperfeiçoamento de Pessoal de Nível Superior - CAPES / From orality to mediation, narratives are surrounded by reconfiguration. The popularization of the use of computers and their post-mass functions has enhanced the ways of telling stories, bringing a communication system apparently horizontal when stories are told in environments that elevate the status of spectator to interactor. In a convergence era, these stories leave behind the narrative in a single media and become counted in a transmedia system, creating a fictional and immersive universe for viewers to interact. On one side you can see behind the scenes, the other side is the public. In the middle, a mirror that blurs fact from fiction. This text intends to resume atheoretical discussionof empirical situations on the concept of transmedia instituted by Henry Jenkins between 2000 and 2011. This discussion appears relevant from the time that new aspects of the concept become popular, and especially while new objects bring strange situations to the phenomenon, such as the national series Alice, produced and aired by HBO Latin America. Alice brings the discussion to production transmedia in Brazil, but highlights a peculiarity: the characters do not only exist on television and in social networks (Orkut, Twitter, Facebook), but also began to inhabit the everyday, the urban space, going to events and creating situations that functioned as unfolding of the events of the episodes, bringing new aspects to the concept of transmedia that Max Giovagnolli (2011) shall call "urban actions”. We question the television as this “mirror”, within this new narrative system and communication functions, and try to understand what new in bringing viewers to the center of this media.

Práticas de leitura literária, no ambiente escolar, em face da cultura da convergência / Literary reading practices, within the school environment, in the face of convergence cultureUilma Matos dos Santos Melo 29 November 2016 (has links)
The aim of this thesis is to investigate how characteristics which are inherent to the convergence culture can promote literary reading. Thus, we intend to observe how the use of technology can complement and enrich the reading through practices that enable the joining of traditional and current media, reframing the reading habits among students. We propose participatory and intersemiotic reading activities using technological devices in order to encourage the taste for reading and the development of the competence skills of reading comprehension and narrative text production. In different moments of the research, we used two questionnaires to obtain qualitative data on the proposals made. In summary, we conclude that changes in reading practices in the classroom are vital, since cultural conversions cannot be dissociated from the educational transformation.
