[pt] A presente tese se propôs analisar e responder, no âmbito teológico, como a Igreja Católica vive sua missão evangelizadora junto aos migrantes. Os processos migratórios podem ser experiências da vivência cristã, pois, em meio a percalços, sucessos e frustrações, podem possibilitar ao ser humano o encontro com Deus, em Jesus Cristo, na realidade concreta em que este ser humano se encontra. Assim, a Igreja Católica, na sua ação pastoral junto aos migrantes, deve ser marcada pela gratuidade, acolhida, misericórdia, justiça e pelo amor, fortalecendo o que há de melhor no ser humano. Para captar adequadamente o objeto material, isto é, a realidade da migração, a pesquisa optou por uma amostragem, com centralidade na migração de brasileiros para uma região específica - Boston- Massachusetts-EUA. Por meio de pesquisa de campo, com perfil qualitativo, e do estudo bibliográfico das principais obras que tratam do assunto, buscou compreender o que ocorre com esta realidade migratória específica. Por ser uma tese teológica, o objeto formal foi recolhido no núcleo da experiência cristã, isto é, no encontro com Jesus Cristo e na adesão a uma comunidade eclesial e suas consequências. No encontro entre os dois objetos da pesquisa, percebeu-se a importância da relação entre fé e cultura, buscando compreender até que ponto a inserção numa nova cultura, no caso, a norte-americana, implica a perda ou a transformação da fé. O processo migratório analisado pela perspectiva da fé cristã induz à superação das estruturas rígidas e restritivas apresentadas como muros que cerceiam a liberdade e o sentido da existência humana num mundo diverso. É, pois, preciso, em lugar de muros, construir pontes de diálogos e de trocas que valorizem a vida. É preciso saber discernir entre o que pertence efetivamente à experiência cristã e o que é mediação cultural para esta vivência. / [en] The present thesis aimed at analyzing and answering, in the theological sphere, how the Catholic Church exercises its evangelizing mission in favor of migrants. Migration processes can be experiences of Christian living because in the midst of mishaps, success and failure, may make human s encounter with God possible, in Jesus Christ, in the concrete reality in which the being is found. This way, the Catholic Church, in its pastoral action in favor of migrants, must be characterized by gratuity, receptivity, mercy, justice and love, boosting what is the best in human beings. In order to capture appropriately the material object, i.e., the reality of migration, the survey opted for sampling, focusing its attention to the Brazilian migration executed to a particular area - Boston- Massachusetts- the USA. Throughout fieldwork, with qualitative profile, and bibliographic study of the major works that deal with the matter, tried to understand what occurs with this specific reality of migration. As it is a theological thesis, the formal objective was gathered at the nucleus of Christian experience, i.e., at the encounter with Jesus Christ and adhesion to an ecclesial community and its consequences. Gathering both objects of research we realized the importance of the relationship between faith and culture, seeking to evaluate to what extent the immersion in a new culture, in this case North American, implies in faith loss or change. The migration process analyzed through Christian faith perspective leads to overcoming the rigid and strict structures posed as barriers that limit the freedom and the purpose of human existence in a diverse world. Therefore, instead of building walls, bridge building to allow dialogue and exchanges that treasure life are necessary. Distinguishing what effectively belongs to Christian experience and what is cultural intervention to its living is essential.

[pt] O objetivo desta Dissertação é compreender o enfrentamento dos refugiados na cidade de São Paulo no que se relaciona ao acesso à moradia. Partindo das experiências ocorridas em São Paulo para o esforço de acolhida aos refugiados de diferentes nacionalidades, a moradia ainda não é uma questão de política pública, com lacunas para a garantia do seu acesso. Procurou-se analisar as estratégias de refugiados para garantir o acesso à moradia. Foram realizadas quatro entrevistas nos Centros de Acolhida e Casa de Passagem instaladas em São Paulo, assim como três entrevistas com dois indivíduos com o status de refugiado e um filho de um casal palestino, que articula a moradia em uma ocupação, no centro da cidade. Foi possível identificar os limites e possibilidades dos serviços de acolhimento a partir das falas dos entrevistados. As buscas individuais e a mobilização exercida pela rede de solidariedade construída entre os refugiados integram o cenário da dificuldade do direito de morar, marcada por um deslocamento forçado ocorrido no processo migratório. / [en] The goal of this dissertation is to understand the confrontation of refugees in Sao Paulo s city in which relates to access to housing. Starting from the experiences that occurred in Sao Paulo for the effort of welcome for refugees of different nationalities, housing have not been a matter of public policy yet, with gaps for the guarantee of access. For this, it is necessary to identify the refugee s experiences in individual and collective models. Four interviews were carried out in the Reception centers and halfway house located in São Paulo and three interviews with two individuals with refugee status and a son of a Palestinian couple who articulates the residences in an occupation in the city center. It was possible to identify the limits and possibilities of the host services by the interviews. The individual searches and the mobilization network of solidarity built among the refugees make up the difficulty setting of the right to housing, marked by a forced displacement occurred in the migration process.

[pt] Durante um longo período o tema da afetividade esteve fora do discurso religioso. Este discurso religioso tendeu mais para a matiz da tradição grega, dando preferência para o discurso da razão na teologia. Contudo, a tradição cristã é formada pelo entrecruzamento de duas grandes Tradições religioso-culturais: a referida Tradição grega, baseada no discurso racional; e a Tradição semita, baseada na antropologia do coração, onde o conhecimento é visto como sabedoria e amor. Isso indica que, por detrás do componente afetivo existe uma real possibilidade de se conhecer, experienciar e, conseqüentemente, amar a Deus. A estrutura afetiva do ser humano torna-se, assim, em virtude de constituir-se basicamente como estrutura de acolhida, a maneira mais legítima de acolher a Deus. A afetividade humana garante, então, que toda a experiência de Deus seja uma experiência amorosa que revela ao ser humano sua verdade mais profunda: o ser humano é um ser em relação com seu Deus Criador e Salvador. A afetividade possibilita, assim, a apropriação da parte do ser humano da graça redentora que Deus lhe comunica numa relação sempre salutar. Jesus Cristo - o dom do Pai à humanidade - realiza em sua pessoa a salvação que Deus quer comunicar ao ser humano. A salvação consiste na participação do ser humano na vida divina mediante a ação do Espírito Santo que co- naturaliza o ser humano com Deus. / [en] During a long time, the theme of affection was outside of religious discourse. This religious discourse tended more to the shade of Greek tradition, giving preference to the discourse of reason in teology. However, the Christian tradition is formed by the intersections of two big cultural religious Traditions: the so called Greek Tradition, based on rational discourse; and the Semitic Tradition, based on antropology of heart, where knowledge is seen by wisdom and love. It signals that, behind the affectionate component, there is a real possibility of knowing oneself, experiencing and, consequentely, loving God. So, the affectionate structure of human being becomes the most legitimate way to welcome God since it was set up basically as a welcome structure. Thus, human affection guarantees that every experience of God is a loveling experience that reveals to human being his deeper truth: human being is a being regarding his Creator Saviour God. The affection enables in that manner the human being appropriation from part of the redeeming grace that God communicates to him in a salutary relation like always. Jesus Christ - the Father's gift to humanity - does in His person the salvation that God wishes to communicate to human being. The salvation consists in joining human being in divine life through the action of Holly Spirit that co-naturalizes human being with God.
