Este aparece na obra em questão como Eu, consciência, consciência de si, razão e espírito. Apresenta-se, então, a especificidade de cada um destes momentos e suas deficiências. / [en] The dissertation analyzes Hegel's Phenomenology of Spirit argumentation about the concept of subjectivity. This notion appears here as the I, consciousness, self-consciousness, reason and spirit. This work analyzes each one of them in their specificity and deficiencies.

[pt] O presente trabalho abordará as modificações corporais especificamente no campo psicanalítico. Partirá da premissa de que a questão da noção do corpo na psicanálise é fundamental e delicada, ressaltará a importância da via sensorial para a constituição do psiquismo. A investigação terá como base teórica o conceito freudiano de eu, a proposta de Piera Aulagnier a respeito da constituição do corpo próprio e da origem do psiquismo, as noções de Eu-pele e Eu-pensante de Didier Anzieu, alguns conceitos winnicottianos sobre a importância do vínculo materno na díade mãe-bebê para promoção de saúde mental, bem como algumas noções sobre saúde e criatividade. O trabalho visa refletir sobre as possíveis relações existentes entre as modificações corporais e a constituição da subjetividade. / [en] The present work will address the body modifications specifically in the psychoanalytic field. It assumes the question of the notion of the body in psychoanalysis as a fundamental and delicate one, will underscore the importance of the sensorial pathway for the constitution of the psyche. The investigation will have as its theoretical basis the Freudian concept of ego, Piera Aulagnier s proposal regarding the constitution of one s own body and the psyche s origin, the notions of self-skin and self-thinking of Didier Anzieu, some Winnicottian concepts about the importance of maternal bond in the mother-infant dyad towards the promotion of mental health, as well as some notions of health and creativity. The work intends to consider the possible relations between body modifications and the constitution of subjectivity.

[pt] Esta pesquisa de mestrado foi desenvolvida tendo como principal objetivo compreender o lugar do corpo e das experiências sensoriais no processo de constituição subjetiva à luz dos conceitos de Eu-pele e corpo próprio em Anzieu e Merleau-Ponty, respectivamente. A nossa investigação mostra que, segundo os autores, o Eu é constituído a partir da experiência sensível e que é tarefa do corpo organizar os dados sensoriais, dando sentido às experiências subjetivas. Além disso, o presente trabalho busca evidenciar o aspecto relacional do processo de subjetivação, presente nos dois autores. Este estudo deixa claro que a dimensão da corporeidade, a qual é fundamental para o desenvolvimento psíquico, emocional e cognitivo, pressupõe, sobretudo, a presença do outro. Conclui-se, assim, que tanto Anzieu quanto Merleau-Ponty explicam a psicogênese pela ótica da intersubjetividade, a qual é marcada pela experiência sensível, compartilhada em um espaço intercorporal e interpessoal, um mundo comum de onde podem emergir as subjetividades. / [en] We developed this research aiming to understand the role of the body and the sensitive experiences in the constitution of subjectivity, based on the concepts of Skin ego and own body in Anzieu and Merleau-Ponty, respectively. By analyzing the essencial aspects of both theories it is possible to understand, firstly, that the ego derives from our sensitive experiences and, secondly, that the body not only organizes the sensory data, but also provides meaning to our experiences. In addition, we highlight the relational aspect of the subjectivation process, once both authors pointed out to the fact that corporeity, which is fundamental to psychological, emotional and cognitive development, presupposes another underlying factor: the experience of the Other. Therefore, we gather that both Anzieu and Merleau-Ponty explain psychogenesis from the perspective of intersubjectivity, which is marked by our sensitive experience, shared in an intercorporal and interpersonal space, a common world from where subjectivities can emerge.

[pt] O presente trabalho procurou investigar, à luz da teoria psicanalítica, algumas práticas consideradas radicais de marcação do corpo, tais como tatuagens, piercings, implantes subcutâneos, escarificações, pocketing, pulling e suspensão. Para tanto, procedeu-se inicialmente a uma exposição do contexto em que tais práticas são abordadas, a cultura de consumo contemporânea, na qual o corpo assume lugar de destaque. Além disto, realizou-se um roteiro histórico das práticas de marcação do corpo e seus usos. Incidindo na superfície do corpo, tais práticas fornecem a este um novo contorno. A delimitação das bordas corporais nos remete à temática da constituição subjetiva, na qual as experiências pele-à-pele delineiam a fronteira entre interno e externo, eu e outro. Na relação com um outro, o corpo é ainda inserido no registro pulsional, configurando-se como um corpo erógeno, marcado por experiências de prazer e desprazer. Se o prazer pode ser encontrado no desprazer e na dor, estabelece-se, então, o masoquismo erógeno, base de todo tipo de masoquismo. Por fim, utilizando-se o masoquismo como instrumento para pensar as marcações do corpo que têm na dor a condição indispensável para sua realização, efetuou-se uma apresentação a seu respeito. A dor, além de ser, no masoquismo, o meio de obter prazer, fornece ao sujeito a percepção dos contornos de seu corpo. Assim, através de práticas dolorosas, o sujeito se encontra em um esforço por delimitar e manter coesas suas fronteiras corporais. / [en] The present study sought to investigate, trough a psychoanalytical perspective, some radical practices of body marking, such as tattoos, piercings, subcutaneous implants, pocketing, pulling and suspension. To do so, it begins by presenting the context in which such practices are approached, the contemporary consuming culture, in which the body occupies a place of prominence. Further on, is presented a historical background of practices of body markings and its uses. Falling upon the surface of the body, these practices provide it a new outline. The delimitation of corporal borders sends us to the subjective constitution theme, in which skin-to-skin experiences delineate the frontier between internal and external, the ego and the other. When relating with another, the body is still inserted in a pulsional register, becoming hence an erogenous body, marked by experiences of pleasure and displeasure. If pleasure can be found in displeasure and pain, the erogenous masochism, originally present in all forms of masochism, is then established. Finally, using the masochism as an instrument to deal with body markings that find in pain the indispensable condition to its realization, a presentation of the theme was made. Pain, besides being, in masochism, a way of obtaining pleasure, supplies the subject the perception of the outline of his body. That way, trough painful practices the subject finds himself in an effort to delimitate and keep tied his bodily borders.

[pt] Este estudo busca identificar respostas afetivas decorrentes de perdas involuntárias de posses simbólicas de indivíduos de baixa renda que no período de 2003 a 2013 ascenderam socialmente, identificando-se como integrantes da classe média brasileira. Esses consumidores, em decorrência de crise econômica, sofreram perdas simbolicamente importantes que afetaram a constituição de parte do seu eu. Partindo da compreensão de que perdas de posses simbólicas extrapolam a simples privação material e estendem-se à construção de uma identidade adquirida, o trabalho propõe que respostas afetivas diante de perdas involuntárias estabelecem forte relação com as fases identificadas por Kübler-Ross (2000): negação, raiva, barganha, depressão e aceitação. Foram entrevistados doze consumidores que haviam ascendido socialmente e, recentemente, foram atingidos pela crise econômica, tendo sofrido abalos consideráveis em sua construção do eu. As entrevistas fenomenológicas foram conduzidas e interpretadas como proposto por Thompson, Locander e Pollio (1989; 2015). As fases de reação à perda ficaram evidentes nas experiências vividas pelos entrevistados, contribuindo para o entendimento de como perdas de posses simbólicas assemelham-se à morte da identidade e afetam o eu e sua extensão. A abordagem de Kubler-Ross (2000) procurou preencher lacuna teórica identificada por Black, (2011) e por Smyczek e Glowik (2011) com relação aos efeitos da perda no comportamento do consumidor. / [en] This study seek to identify affective answers due to involuntary losses of symbolic possessions of low-income people who socially ascended in the period from 2003 to 2013 identifying themselves as members of the Brazilian middle class. Due to the economic crisis, these consumers suffered symbolically significant losses that affected the constitution of part of their self. Starting from the understanding that those losses go beyond simple material deprivation and extend to the construction of an acquired identity, the work proposes that affective responses to involuntary losses stablish a strong relationship with the phases identified by Kubler-Ross (2000): denial, anger, bargaining, depression and acceptance. Twelve consumers who had risen socially and also were recently hit by the economic crisis were interviewed, having suffered considerable upheavals in their construction of the self. The phenomenological interviews were conducted and interpreted as proposed by Thompson, Locander and Pollio (1989 – 2015). The phases of reaction to loss were evident in the experience lived by the interviewees, contributing to the understanding how losses of symbolic possessions resemble the death of the identity also affect the self and its extent. Kubler-Ross s (2000) approach sought to fill the theoretical gap identified by Black (2011) and Smyczeck and Glowick (2011) regarding the effects of loss on consumer behavior.

[pt] O crescimento do poder aquisitivo da população de baixa renda no Brasil e a consequente alta na demanda por veículos por este estrato da sociedade fizeram crescer o mercado automotivo brasileiro na primeira década dos anos 2000. A próxima relação que esses consumidores passaram a ter com seus veículos tornase, então, o objeto de estudo da presente pesquisa, que tem como principal base teórica a teoria de eu estendido desenvolvida inicialmente por Belk. O autor estipula que objetos de consumo se tornam extensões do Eu de consumidores, devido aos simbolismos que carregam e representam. O objetivo final do estudo, portanto, é entender quais são os significados atribuídos por consumidores de baixa renda a seus carros e como os mesmos são representados como uma extensão do Eu desses indivíduos. Para isso, foram feitas entrevistas emprofundidade com consumidores de baixa renda da cidade do Rio de Janeiro possuidores de carros de passeio. A partir das entrevistas, foi possível a analisar a relação entre esses indivíduos e seus carros como uma extensão de si e, assim, chegar a algumas conclusões. / [en] The growth of the purchasing power of the low-income population in Brazil and the consequent increase on the demand for vehicles by this stratum of society made the Brazilian automotive market grow in the first decade of the 2000 s. The close relationship that these consumers began to have with their vehicles is the object of the present study, which has as its main theoretical base the theory developed initially by Belk. The author stipulates that consumption objects become extensions of one s self because of the symbolism it carries and represents. The main objective of the study, therefore, is to understand what are the meanings attributed by low-income consumers to their cars and how such vehicles are represented as an extension of the Self of these individuals. For this, in-depth interviews were conducted with low-income consumers in the city of Rio de Janeiro who owned cars. Based on the interviews, it was possible to identify the relationship between these individuals and their cars and, thus, come to some conclusions.
