[pt] Este estudo teve como objetivo buscar, em alguns textos de Freud, a visão do autor a respeito da figura paterna e de sua relevância para a subjetivação do sujeito. São enfatizados os desenvolvimentos teóricos sobre a formulação e a importância do complexo de Édipo, tanto o masculino como o feminino, para a formação do superego, bem como a importância do narcisismo para a construção do eu e para o processo de identificação. São enfocadas, ainda, as mudanças ocorridas no ambiente social, desde a época de Freud aos dias atuais, que propiciaram questões acerca da família, com alterações na relação homem/mulher e na função de cada gênero, provocando o declínio da figura paterna devido às novas configurações familiares. Além disso, são apresentadas as novas abordagens sobre paternidade, função paterna e lugar do pai no contexto das múltiplas configurações familiares contemporâneas. / [en] This study aimed at searching in some of Freud s writings the author s view of the paternal figure and its relevance to the individual s subjectivity. We emphasize the theoretical developments regarding the formulation and the importance of the Oedipus complex - both male and female - to the formation of the superego, as well as the importance or narcissism in the I construction and in the identification process. We also highlight the changes occurred in social environment, from Freudian to present time, which had raised questions about the family, with changes in the relationship between men and women, and in the functions of each gender, causing the decline of paternal figure in new family configurations. In addition, we present new approaches on paternity, paternal function and father s place in the context of multiple family configurations in contemporaneity.

[pt] O tema desta dissertação é o mal-estar na relação entre adultos e crianças na atualidade. Seu interesse é responder às seguintes questões: 1) o malestar contemporâneo está relacionado com a crescente conjugação do discurso da ciência com o capital, trazendo uma objetalização generalizada do sujeito? 2) como podemos entender a dinâmica destas relações à luz dos esclarecimentos propostos pela psicanálise? 3) estão os analistas preparados para responder a esta convocação de escuta que nos fazem os impasses de nossa sociedade? Tendo como ponto de partida o postulado freudiano sobre a sexualidade infantil e o narcisismo parental na constituição psíquica da criança, Sua majestade o bebê, propomos, com Lacan, uma leitura estrutural a partir de sua teoria do significante, atribuindo à mãe e ao pai lugares e funções na estruturação do sujeito. O amor engendrado pelo discurso da família não é um amor desnaturalizado, mas se inscreve, pelo desejo articulado ao objeto, à falta de objeto. O desejo não anônimo dos pais coloca o infans enredado na fantasia daquele que dele se ocupa. Entre mãe e criança, pai e filho, educador e aluno, há a dimensão do gozo e da linguagem. Investigamos os efeitos da prevalência do discurso pedagógico científico nas relações entre adultos, adolescentes e crianças, a partir da questão da transmissão do saber na atualidade, revelando as questões éticas implicadas no regime de gozo atual fora da lei do pai. A teoria dos discursos e do laço social em Lacan subsidiou nossa investigação, que encontrou, no trabalho em cartel, uma possível prática em pequenos grupos. Responsabilizando-se por seu sintoma e não o negando, o sujeito terá a chance de aliar-se ao bem dizer do sintoma. Uma das grandes contribuições da psicanálise, a nosso ver, é confrontar-se com o saber não todo, o saber inconsciente, deixando cair por terra o almejado saber absoluto. / [en] The theme of this dissertation is on the malaise in the relationship between adults and children of today. Its interest is to answer the following questions: 1) is the contemporary malaise related to the increasing conjunction of the scientific discourse with the capital, bringing about a generalized objectification of the subject? 2) how can we understand the dynamics of these relationships by the light of the elucidation proposed by psychoanalysis? 3) are psychoanalysts prepared to answer this call of listening made by the impasse of our society? Having as the starting point the Freudian postulate about the infantile sexuality and the parental narcissism in the psychic constitution of the child, Her majesty the baby, we propose, with Lacan, a structural reading as from his theory of the signifier, giving the mother and the father places and functions in the organization of the subject. The love produced by the family discourse is not a rendered unnatural love, but it inscribes itself, by the desire articulated to the object, the missing object. The non-anonymous desire of the parents puts the infant entangled in the fantasy of the one who deals with him/her. Between mother and child, father and son, educator and student, there is the dimension of jouissance and of language. We investigated the effects of pedagogical-scientific discourse prevalence in the relationships among adults, adolescents and child, as from the question of knowledge transmission today, revealing the ethical questions implied on the current regime of jouissance outside the father s Law. The discourse and social bond theory in Lacan subsidized our investigation, which found, in the cartel workshop, a feasible practice in small groups. Being responsible for his/her symptom and not denying it, the subject will have the chance to ally himself/herself with the well-saying of the symptom. One of the major contributions of psychoanalysis, for us, is to face ourselves with the not-all knowledge, the unconscious knowledge, letting go the absolute knowledge.

[pt] O foco do presente trabalho é a dinâmica das relações familiares de adolescentes em conflito com a lei. O estudo foi realizado a partir de entrevistas com mães de adolescentes pobres, moradores da Baixada Fluminense, que cumprem medidas socioeducativas determinadas pela Vara da Infância e Juventude da Comarca de S. João de Meriti. A autora aborda aspectos psicológicos e sociais da questão, apontando fatores que, de alguma forma, facilitam a entrada do jovem, cada vez mais cedo, no universo do tráfico de drogas. Através de uma breve resenha, é destacada a histórica desigualdade social existente no Brasil, que vitimiza, há quinhentos anos, a população mais desfavorecida, empurrando-a para a margem do tecido social. O jovem oriundo de tal camada, passa a ter visibilidade a partir da prática de atos ilícitos, preocupando e atemorizando a mesma sociedade que o excluiu. / [en] This essay focuses on the relationships in families of juvenile offenders under correctional custody in Rio de Janeiro. The study is based on interviews with mothers of poor adolescents under the responsibility of juditial authorities of the district of São João de Meriti. The author emphasizes psychological and social aspects of the matter, indicating points which may collaborate for teenagers to join the drug traffic universe. A brief report of the Brazilian historical social inequality points out the victimization of the working class people, relegated to an inferior position in the society. The poor adolescents gain visibility through illicit acts, preoccupying and terrorizing the same social class that had excluded them.
