The aim of the master´s thesis is analysis of limits of tail test exercise in practice for certification of dampening quality of wheel hitches of vehicles using virtual simulation. The goal is to create virtual model of front axle of Skoda Roomster 1.4 TDi using program Adams/View, MSC Software and follow-up simulation of tail test of wheel hitch.

This thesis is focused on calculation of double casing condensing steam turbine with capacity 200 MW for petrochemical industry´s consumptions. Engine is projected for gas-steam cycle. It has one controlled extraction points placed between two bodies, two uncontrolled extraction points and axial output to air-cooling condenser. Balance scheme was made for 100% operation. Detail design is made only for ST/NT casing and it includes calculation of flowing part, selection of blade´s profile and its stress control. Rotor is checked for critical speed, safety rigid coupling is calculated and according to reaction forces journal bearing are designed. In the end regulation of turbo-set is discussed more precisely and there are calculation of temperature and pressure in uncontrolled extraction points during 80% and 60% operation. Thesis was written out according to Doosan Skoda Power´s instruction and with their cooperation.

This thesis describes the design of a condensing steam turbine with reheating for fossil power plant. The turbine is a double parts. The first casing is formed by a simple HP casing. The second casing is combined MP-LP casing with axial outlet of steam into the water-cooled condenser. Feedwater regeneration system consists of two high-pressure heaters, the four low-pressure heaters and feed tank. In thesis is includes the calculation of heat balance and the draft of flow channel of HP and MP-LP casing. Next is a detailed calculation of MP-LP casing with includes calculation of flowing part, selection of blade´s profiles and its stress control. Rotor MP-LP casing is checked for torsion and computed size of the critical speed. Clutch is ispected by security check and draft radial bearings. Stress control casing is carried out according to the theory of thick shells. Work includes flow scheme for 100% and 75% performance. In the end is comparing the efficiency of the individual casing of the turbine with the work 3b together with the specific heat consumption. Work includes a longitudinal section of the MP-LP casing. This thesis has been developed in cooperation Škoda Power, Doosan.

This thesis deals with design is condensing steam turbines burning fossil fuels with nominal capacity of the generator of 250 MW with steam reheating and regenerative eight uncontrolled extraction points. The turbine consists of two bodies: a combined high-intermediate pressure section and low pressure parts with dual way outlet down into the water-cooled condenser. Work includes calculating thermal scheme for 100% and 75% capacity, specific heat consumption calculation and design of the flow HP-MP body. Further strength control and basic engineering design of high-medium- work completed by longitudinal section. Achievements are at the end of work compared with work 3a and the conclusion summarizes the advantages and disadvantages of the concept.

The aim of the Thesis is to establish the height of the insurance claim for the damage caused by the fire of the family house in Ivančice. The Thesis is divided into two separate sections, the theoretical one and the practical one. The theoretical part deals with the Czech insurance market issues such as property evaluation and evaluation of construction works. In the practical part there are established two different insurance value of the property. First one relates to the condition of the property shortly after completion and the second one should reflect the state of the property shortly before the damage caused by the fire. This part of the Thesis is followed by the description of the insurance claim with the list of damage caused by the fire supplemented with calculation of cost of the adequate reconstruction. The final part of the document contains comparation of the insurance value established shortly before the damage and the insurance value of the property evaluatated after the reconstruction.

The aim of this thesis is to determine the amount of indemnity for total damage caused by a falling tree during the gale on a cottage in Roudné near Nové Hrady. The theoretical part deals with basic insurance terminology and basic terminology and methods used in property evaluation. The practical part describes the original condition of the property and its evaluation before the insured event using a cost method and complying with the evaluation regulation. Furthermore, this thesis deals with determination of the costs through the itemized budget for bringing the property to its original state. The conclusion deals with the impact of reconstruction on the extent of indemnity.

This thesis is focused on possibilities of financial valuation of flexible pavements surface layers conditions, in connection with whole life cycle of the pavement and certain possibilities of their maintenance and repairs, in cases of defects and failures from forensic engineering point of view. There were carried out analysis of the topics connected with judging of flexible pavements surface layers defects and failures related to forensic investigation in the Czech Republic, as well as abroad. In this thesis there were created pricing models of the certain construction works which are related to repairs and maintenance of flexible pavements. Within the possibilities of the author, there were compared market prices of the particular construction works in selected regions with the prices according to generally used pricing systems in the Czech Republic. The goal of this thesis is to create unified methodology for amount of damage financial valuation in cases of defects and failures of flexible road pavements surface layers for forensic engineering practice in the Czech Republic.

This diploma thesis quite thoroughly deals with - at present a very topical - theme "liability for damage caused by a defective product"; thus, with an obligation to compensate for the damage caused by the defective product to its user (or third party), generally imposed on the person who is designated as the "producer" of the product, originally based on the Council Directive of 25 July 1985 on the approximation of the laws, regulations and administrative provisions of the Member States concerning liability for defective products (85/374/EEC) (hereinafter 'Directive 85/374/EEC'). However, this work is not limited only to the (thorough) description of the currently valid and effective Czech implementing legislation. The thesis also compares the Czech legislation with the French implementing regulation, which is of a significantly higher legislative quality and much more faithful to its Union model. In fact, it was specifically France which shaped the final form of this responsibility regime, since it was the French transposition, and the French decision-making (judicial) practice, which was most often the subject of the Court of Justice's, as it ruled on the interpretation of the individual provisions and principles in the text of the previously mentioned directive contained. The Master thesis has for its objective mapping of destiny of czech comunity in Paris from sixties to eighties. Its purpose is not to get a complete list of all artists, who came to Paris. It's just a sellection of those important persons, who broke through Paris. The personal interviews play an important part of the sources. The thesis is not structured in medallion-biography way, but it is lined up in a thematic way. Most of the artists handled in their new home country withe similar problems and situations. First theoretical part characterise the period, the environment, the czech-french relations and the general phenomena of emigration in the czech historical memory. In sixties the czech-french relations started to be reanimated and many french art critics visited Czechoslovakia and they wrote about czech art. Beside France, the czech emigration refuged in sixties largely to West Germany, United States of America, Canada, austrian Wien, Swiss and nordic countries. Individuals art centres were connected to others by friendships and artists visited themselves. Second and more extensive part of the thesis works with the oral and witten interviews. The respondent artists are Miloš Cvach, Roman Kameš, Karel Machálek-Zlín, Miloslav Moucha, Vladimír Škoda, Ivan Theimer and art historian Jana Claverie....

The subject of my master thesis is the EU directive 2004/35 on environmental responsibility, prevention and damage redress, its implementation into the legal order of the Czech Republic and the potential impact of undue transposition of the directive. The first part of my thesis deals with the harmonization need in this area and with the directive itself. Following a brief introduction of the directive, I'm presenting an overview of its basic institutes and their legal form. I'm also making an effort at identifying possible shortcomings of the directive. The basic institutes of the directive include: key principles, the environmental damage itself, operational activity, responsibility mechanisms, financial safeguards and the administrative procedure to impose a preventive or a remedial provisions. The second part of my thesis deals with the theoretical aspects of appropriate implementation, such as the interpretation of the directive, a timely adoption of the transposition provisions, proper projection of the content of the directive, due form of the transposition provisions, the application of EU norms, the equivalence and effectiveness imperative and the internal Czech rules for the implementation of EU norms that have been laid down by the governmental provision Nr. 1304 (methodological directions).
