Liability for Damage Caused by Exercise of Public Authority Focusing on the Institute of Regress Damages This thesis focuses on liability for damage caused by exercise of public authority with an emphasis on the institute of regress damages as stipulated by Act. No. 82/1998 Sb. The institute of regress is emphasized throughout my paper as the fundamental research questions are: How is the institute expressed by positive law? Is it being used or is it only an empty provision? And how exactly is it being used? What is the success rate? If it is not used, what are possible reasons? The text is divided into four parts with subparts of first and second level. First part analyzes the key terms such as liability, damage, public authority and its entities. There is a disctinction between the public authority entity, who is liable for the damage, and the actual bodies, who exercise the authority. I also included a brief subchapter related to damage caused by lawful exercise of public authority. Second part analyzes how liability for damage caused by public authority is enshrined in the Czech Republic. First I addressed constitutional and international aspects, followed by provisions of Act. This thesis is focusing on increasing the competitiveness of Škoda Auto Pvt. Ltd. and its production in India. The theoretical part contains a definition of globalization, international business and cultural differences based on a theory of Dutch psychologist Geert Hofstede. The practical part is analyzing specifications of the automobile industry in India and its growth. Furthermore it investigates the positions of Czech car producer Škoda Auto and its competitiveness within this industry. The data obtained were used in preparation of several variants. These variants are designed to improve the competitive position of Škoda Auto Pvt. Ltd. on the market.

As a result of a growing number of Member States of the European Union the idea of unification and co-ordination of legal changes,including tax systems of each country, is growing stronger. The common consolidated corporate tax base (CCCTB) should establish unified rules for determining the tax base, and consequently this would eliminate double taxation, cross-border income, or tax evasion and suppression of tax competition among the states of the European Union. This work deals with the redistributive mechanism of the CCCTB, which would alocate the CCCTB to the group of the individual companies. Interim result of the discussion is to create a distribution threefactors formula consisting of variables - work, asset and sales. I applied the current conclusions of the European Commission to the Czech company Skoda Auto,a.s., whose parent company is in Germany.

This thesis is focused on project planning and management optimalization in the department of technical evaluation FEM (TKF/1), Škoda Auto, a. s. Its theoretical part specifies the framework of project management, including the methodology of project leadership and software instruments. Afterwards it mentions various types of organisational structure, stressing the matrix structure. The practical part starts with the description of the company, of its organisational structure and of activities explaining processes in TKF/1. Then follows an analyse of the current situation in the project leadership of the observed department, that is summarised in a well-arranged SWOT. Based on these outlines, a new organisational structure is proposed, as well as a new process of the development projects' planning. The thesis contains a proposal of setting of sources out from the corporate fund of sources that facilitates an effective capacity planning of whole department, and it also contains a template of development activity in MS Project.

This diploma thesis deals with compensation for damages occurring during tax administrative procedure due to maladministration or unlawful decisions. The main aim of this thesis was to disclose influence of compensations for damages and administrative expenses of compensation procedure to the state's budget. Thesis concerns legal frame of compensations for damages, the first part of the compensation procedure which is held by the Ministry of Finance of the Czech Republic, specifically analysis of number of submitted applications for compensation, extent of acknowledged compensations and the most frequent reasons for acknowledgement of compensation. Further thesis deals with court proceedings and recourse against civil servants, which are eligible of causing damages. Significant part of thesis focuses to the estimation of administrative expenses spent in connection with compensation procedure and compares these expenses in years 2010 and 2011 considering the change in organization of state administration since 1. 1. 2011.

Hereby presented diploma thesis "Financial analysis of ŠKODA AUTO a.s." introduces the financial performance of the joint-stock company ŠKODA AUTO and attempts to provide with comprehensive in-depth analysis and to determine financial situation over the period from 2009 to 2013. The work comprises two main parts- theoretical and practical. The first part discusses theoretical issues related to financial analysis and establishes framework for further implementation of methodology. It involves purpose and objectives of financial analysis, resources employed to conduct research and methods and techniques, namely, horizontal and vertical analysis, financial ratios and models for financial health assessment. The second part describes company profile, industry analysis and particularly focuses on implementation of financial analysis of ŠKODA AUTO. This research is processed on the basis of financial data derived from the annual reports of the firm, which are available for public. In order to evaluate the company's performance and demonstrate its development various approaches are applied. Specifically, I will implement trend and vertical analysis of the balance sheet and the income statement, analyze the cash-flow statement and compute the following financial ratios: liquidity, profitability, activity, debt and solvency indicators. In addition, DuPont decomposition of return on equity (ROE) will be presented. Furthermore, analysis of financial health and credibility of the firm represented by the Beaver Test, Kralicek Quick Test and the Altman-score model will scrutinize the company's stability, profitability and creditworthiness as well as assess the threat of bankruptcy. In the conclusion all results of conducted financial analysis are summarized and evaluated.

Diplomová práce analyzuje strategickou pozici společnosti ŠKODA AUTO na automobilovém trhu. Ke kritickému zkoumání trhu byly použity analýzy SLEPTE, Porterův model pěti sil a také McKinseyho model 7s, SWOT analýza a Králíčkův rychlý test. Veškeré zjištěné poznatky na tomto specifickém trhu jsou shrnuty v závěru a s ohledem na současnou situaci jsou navržena opatření pro budoucí růst společnosti.

In contains risk analysis and insurance portfolio proposition for pourposes of niminizing significant risk of the company by means of commercial insurance companies, so the risk jeopardizes the business activities of the company.

This master thesis includes a comprehensive analysis of the new car sales via the internet. The SLETPE and SWOT analyses were used for the overall analysis of the external and internal environment. The opinion about this new way of selling cars was inspected by marketing research. The current websites of companies are described and assessed, because of the importance for the implementation of e-commerce.

Diploma project is aimed to load force vector decomposition to x, y and z direction for complicated Skoda car parts. The methodology of decomposition is based on measuring of car parts deformation by strain gauges and mathematical identifation of force compoments by neural network (ANN). ANN will be trained by results of FE model simulations or by calibration on real car parts.
