This thesis focuses on the windscreen mounting options on the assembly line at Škoda Auto in Mladá Boleslav. The aim is to describe the possible assembly options and to determine the optimal variant. In the first part the key theoretical information is described, followed by an analysis of the current state. After the introduction of two new proposals the variatiants are compared to each other in terms of finance and overall suitability using multicriteria method.

The thesis deals with the analysis of the present state of this problem. The analysis of the risks which come from the specific situation is made on its basis. The goal of this thesis is to propose the general procedure of the valuation of the incurred damage on the environment and the minimization of the risks.

This diploma thesis deals with an analysis and evaluation of risk in the freight transport company – Doprava Vícha s. r. o. The thesis describes the current situation in a freight transport industry, an applicable legislation, and risk analysis methods FMEA and WHAT-IF. Further the thesis analyses risks of a freight transportation and describes the company Doprava Vícha s. r. o. in detail. The thesis proposes a set of actions in order to minimize identified risks. Damages for Breach of Contractual and Non-Contractual Duty in Civil Law - Abstract The thesis at hand deals with liability for non-performance of a contract and liability in tort. The new Civil Code abandoned the general rule of Sec. 420 of Act No. 40/1964 Coll., which did not distinguish between contractual and non-contractual liability. The new Civil Code thus provides for two different liability regimes depending on whether the wrongdoer and the victim entered into a contract (or similar obligation) or not. While liability in tort is governed by Sec. 2909 and 2910 CC, contractual liability is stipulated in Sec. 2913 CC. The thesis strives to examine this important change in its complexity when emphasis in being put onto the theoretical, comparative and historical context. We discuss heavy-tailed distributions, which describe the probability of large claim oc- curence. We are interested in the use of large deviations theory in insurance. We simulate claim sizes and their arrival times for Cramér-Lundberg model and first we analyze the probability that ruin happens in dependence on the parameters of our model for Pareto distributed claim size, next we compare ruin probability for other claim size distributions. For real life data we model the probability of large claim size occurence by generalized Pareto distribu- tion. 1

The issue of causality in the suits for damages The subject of this thesis is the issue of causality in disputes relating to compensation for damage to health. Causation is a considerably miscellaneous institute, therefore, this paper deals with various aspects of this topic and its context. The writing focuses on cases in which damage was caused to health through providing health services, as this legal field is characterized by many specifics from other areas of liability. Firstly, the thesis aims at explanation of the concept of causation, its importance and development not only in law but also in other areas of human activity. Subsequently, the attention is focused on the significance of causation in law; after theories of causation are compared, its substantial features are described in comparison to the other elements of liability. Consequently, the work concentrates on processes through which the causal link is determined, on the selection of relevant causes and consequences and the relationship between them in cases involving their plurality. The aim of this Master Thesis is to analyze using the system of plans and budgets in a steering of sales department in the company SKODA AUTO a.s. In the theoretical part are basically defined terms plans and budgets and also analyzed different point of views of scientific and professional public on using system of plans and budgets in business management. Then are characterized the basic approaches to budgeting and described in detail the proscedure of establishing the budget. In the practical part is described the analysis of using system of plans and budgets on example of SKODA AUTO a.s. company, during which obtained theoretical knowledge were applied. The analysis revealed a weakness in the steering of sales department and have been proposed the measures, aiming to eliminace this weekness.
