This thesis focuses on the implementation of the concept Industry 4.0 in the Czech Republic, especially in the automotive industry. The thesis presents the impact on the implementation of the concept in general level and the practical part presents the impacts of Industry 4.0 in automotive level in three key businesses in automotive: Škoda Auto, TPCA, Hyundai Motor using the tools of economic analysis.

The following diploma thesis is called "The scope of liability to damages under the Commercial Code". I have chosen this theme because the damages are one of the most important legal instrument and in accordance with the actual practice of the courts and legislative development also a dynamically developing part of the civil law with perspective on the new attitude to this instrument with respect to the draft bill of the new Civil Code. The aim of the thesis is to acquaint the reader with the current legislation, compare current legislation with respective court decision and opinions of the juristic community and offer new look on the issue. The thesis is divided into seven chapters. The first one is a preface and defines the matter of thesis. The last one is a conclusion and contains the final look on the scope of liability to damages under the Commercial Code and the brief review of conclusions contained in the thesis. This thesis is focused mainly on the liquidation process of damage events related to the buildings. The analysis of the whole process and recommendations for limiting of individual risk is involved. Within the insurance discurs, asset insurance is characterized by a new price and the time prize. This difference is described in the practical part of the thesis, where the partial damages caused by the storm on the family house and the overall damage to the cottage after a major fire accident. At the end of the case study, an assessment of the most serious insurance risks is described.

This thesis describes the design of a four-stroke engine with two cylinders, using as a range extender. The first chapter briefly introduces the company Škoda Auto a.s., for which the range extender was designed. Also, there is a list of the available electric and hybrid vehicles manufactured by this company. The next chapter deals with the division of hybrid vehicles, as an intermediate step for the use of electric vehicles, the reason for their use and the definition of advantages and disadvantages of hybrid vehicles. Also, the range extender technology is described here. The third chapter contains a description of the conceptual design of the range extender and describes the design and balancing of the crankshaft in more detail. The last chapter describes the calculation of the crankshaft dynamics and the individual parts load. The resulting crankshaft safety is determined by comparing the calculated values with a series-produced 1.0 MPI evo engine, which is the base of the described range extender.

in English This diploma thesis deals with the manner and extent of compensation for damage in civil law, which is systematically included in the fourth part of the Civil Code, entitled Relative property rights and in section named Obligations arising from torts. Specifically, the manner and extent of compensation for damage is defined in articles from 2951 to 2971. The thesis contains basic comparison of the conceptions of the manner and extent of compensation in the former Civil Code and in the new one, with emphasis on the most important reforms. It clarifies new terminology and describes the background of the newly established rules of law. It contains an analysis of the Czech legislation and its comparison with legislation of the neighboring states. It also mentions the European conception of the manner and extent of compensation for damage. This thesis deals with the issue of causation in disputes relating to compensation of damage to health. The aim of this work is to give a comprehensive interpretation of this issue. The work presents possible approaches of proving a causality between illegal misconduct during treatment and the damage caused to a patient. In medico-legal disputes patient must carry the burden of proof. It also compares the European legislation in relation to the necessary degree of proof with the main focus on German legislation and institutes created by the case law of German courts. Furthermore it presents the interpretation of causality in terms of the Principles of European Tort Law. The work deals marginally with certain aspects of proceedings concerning compensation of damage to health and expert assessment.

My diploma thesis is named Sponsoring as a part of a marketing communication. How it is perceptible already from the title, the main theme of the whole work is relatively young tool of marketing communication - sponsoring. In theoretical part of my diploma work I firstly attend to the marketing communication and marketing mix , consequently in one chapter I lightly mention mark plus its identity. Then I concentrate directly on the sponsoring plus the explication of CSR -- Corporate Social Responsibility. Practical volume of my work is bent on the company Skoda Auto. Skoda Auto is a firm with more than centenary tradition. Skoda Auto is the biggest inland employer and together with the company CEZ belongs to the group of biggest sponsors in Czech Republic. Part of my diploma thesis is a questionnaire aimed for the fact - how the public perceives the company Skoda Auto.

Charakterizuje funkční rozdělení prodejní sítě a vymezuje faktory ovlivňující její rozvoj. Dále se věnuje charakteristice středoevropských trhů (Česká republika, Slovensko, Polsko, Maďarsko, Rakousko, Slovinsko), prodejům realizovaným na těchto trzích a otázkám s tím souvisejícím, jako je finanční stránka obchodů a změna filosofie přístupu k finálním zákazníkům.

The topic of this diploma thesis is the analysis of activities of the Czech biggest automotive producer, Skoda Auto company, on the UK market. The thesis maps historical development of the Skoda Auto's activities in that country, goes into the company's chosen growth strategy and provides an analysis of weaknesses and suggestions for possible improvements, which could lead to strengthening of Skoda Auto's position on that market. The first chapter is dedicated to the presentation of Skoda Auto company, outlining the historical development of that car maker and describing of importance, which has that company and also the whole automotive industry for the Czech Republic. The chapter also analyses the sales situation on other markets and the company's global growth strategy. The second chapter focuses on the British market. At first it researches the economic background of the country and then the automotive market. Historical development, current situation and the competition of Skoda Auto are analysed afterwards. The third chapter analyses more deeply Skoda Auto's activities on the UK market. It deals with the historical development of the company's operation in that country, analyses in detail the current growth strategy, which is implemented from 2011 to 2015. The chapter analyses the four main pillars of the strategy, sales, marketing, dealer network and aftersales, and the fulfilment of the objectives, which were set for the previous year. After that it provides the proposals for the possible improvement and steps that the company could take to consolidate its position on that market.

The goal of this diploma thesis is analysis impacts of business cycle on automotive industry in the Czech Republic in 2006-2011 with exclusive focusing on passenger cars. Impacts of business cycle on automotive industry in the Czech Republic are researched on domestic demand development for new passenger cars and on production, domestic sales and export of the three biggest czech automobile producers. Impacts of business cycle on domestic demand for new passenger cars are analyzed with helping numbers of first registrations in the concrete car segments. Development of czech demand for new cars and automotive production in 2006-2011 is compared to demand and passenger cars production development in Germany, Japan and in the USA. The analysis shows that czech demand for new cars was influenced by economic situation in the Czech Republic in 2006-2011. Influence of czech business cycle on automotive production in the Czech Republic was much smaller than influence of business cycle on czech demand for new passenger cars in 2006-2011. This fact is due to significant pro-export orientation of czech automotive production.
