This thesis is oriented on the automotive industry with the focus on the domestic producer of the vehicles – the Škoda Auto Company. It describes the subject of business in the mentioned company and subsequently it refers to the current trends of the automotive market in the Czech Republic. On the basis of the analyses` results of the after-sales services allied with usage of the Škoda-products it will propose their possible future progression. Thereinafter will the thesis concentrate on the description of the existing after-sales processes focused on the „through-pass“ of the vehicle through the authorised Škoda Auto service. It deals with the analysis of the service systems in detail using the tight cohesion of them. Modern technologies used in the current vehicles put significantly higher demands on their maintenance, which call for the continual optimization of the service processes with the maximal utilisation effort of the feedback. The appropriate personnel have become the necessity. For these purposes it will be recommended the introduction of the electronic multipurpose memory devices intended for the data collection. In the next step will the after-sale-service process be described with the focus on the usage of these electronic memory vehicle-keys with the reference to the procedural simplification of the maintenance operations. The final part of the thesis will evaluate the general contribution of the proposed resolution for the service processes as well as their users.

The aim of the master’s thesis is a design of double casing condensing steam turbine with gearbox, reheat and with power output 110 MW for solar power station. The steam turbine has an axial output to the air cooled condenser. The design of the turbine is developed on the basis of concept of Doosan Skoda Power company. It is the main reason this turbine has the impulse blading. There are heat calculation and calculation of heat balance diagram in the first part of the thesis. The system of regeneration consist of three Low Pressure Feedwater Heaters (L.P. FWH), deaerator, and two High Pressure Feedwater Heaters (H.P. FWH). The next part of the thesis is focused on a flow path section of turbine. There is a selection of profile of turbine blades at this part, too. The basic design and strength calculation are available only for high-speed high pressure (HP) part of turbine, as an assignment of the thesis says. There is heat balance diagram for 75 % of nominal power output at the end of thesis. The drawing of longitudinal section of HP part of turbine is the main appendix of this thesis.

This thesis is focused on analysis and evaluation of the trolley deceleration effect on his standing passengers. The first part focuses on theoretical knowledge in terms of legislative requirements for the operation of trolleybuses and transport standing passengers. This section also lists physical findings during deceleration and forces acting on the vehicle. The central part is divided into two measurements. The first measure is aimed at obtaining data (deceleration) and information (number of passengers, increased stability, and fall) of the normal operation of the standing passengers in interior trolley. The second measurement will be focused on driving performance demonstration tests with the interior trolley helpers in various traffic situations. The conclusion of this thesis will summarize the values and knowledge of both measurements. The evaluated data set will limit the slowdown in the trolley passengers where standing still maintains stability.

The aim of the Thesis is to determine the amount of indemnity for the total damage caused of the wooden detached house caused by fire, find out the costs of bringing the property to its original state and evaluate the price of the original and after an insured event the newly established building. The theoretical part is devoted to the basic concepts and methods in the field of real estate valuation and insurance and the liquidation of insurance events. On the introduction and theoretical part is followed by a practical part in which I apply the theoretical information on the real, by fire stricken the wooden family house, I approach the location and describe the building technical condition before and after the occurrence of the insured event. I find a new price of the real estate at the time of approval, the current price before and after the occurrence of the insured event and the new price of an identical family house without the structures which have been preserved and have not been damaged by the fire or fire-fighters. At the conclusion of the Thesis is the insured value of the building after repair of damage compared with the insured value just before the occurrence of the insured event.

This diploma thesis focuses on designing impulse stage steam turbine to be used as the feed pump drive. I consecutively carried out thermodynamic calculation, seals and bearings layouts, with the aim to determine the steam mass flow through the turbine. Furthermore, I conducted turbine blade toughness check-ups, determined the rotor critical rotational speed, check-up rotor critical place (bearing pin) for torsion, and created a clutch screws design. The final part of this thesis pursues the other operating states of the turbine. This thesis is amended by a mechanical drawing of the turbine transection.

The dissertation thesis deals with the problem of relevant volume of natural shrinkage and accidental losses of retail stock quota calculation. In frame of the dissertation thesis, factors affecting an extent of accidental shortage of inventories in retail business are investigated here. Then, possible approaches to a calculation of relevant volume of such a quota are recognized as well. By its scope, the dissertation thesis reacts on a problem that exists within the income taxes law since 1995, but any conceptual solution of this problem is still missing. This current problem that is felt especially in retail business is right the problem of relevant volume of a quota of natural shrinkage and accidental loses calculation. The dissertation thesis is based on wide research that has been done in both, in retail businesses and on the side of tax administration too. On the basis of this research’s outcomes, the main factors affecting an extent of accidental losses of retail stock have been determined. Then these factors and evaluation of their influence became construction elements of two mathematic models for the calculation of relevant volume of a quota of natural shrinkage and accidental losses of inventories in retail business. These models are the model that is based on the statistic method of multiple regression and the model based on the fuzzy logic, respectively on the fuzzy mathematics. For the conclusion of the dissertation thesis, both models are discussed from the point of their relevance as well as from the view of their practical application. Theoretical and practical contributions of the dissertation thesis are also concluded here along with an outline of possible future research in this area.

The thesis deals with the use of tribodiagnostics in predictive maintenance in corporate practice. It is generally dealt with maintenance, then tribodiagnostics in the company Škoda Auto a.s. Used offline and online diagnostic tools are described. Emphasis is placed on verifying the functionality of the newly purchased online filter unit. The experimental part is focused on detailed analysis of the above, including comparison of measurement results offline and online diagnostics. There is also an economic evaluation of savings obtained by operation the online filter unit. In conclusion, the tribodiagnostics recommendations are given for Škoda Auto a.s.

Employer's lability for damages of an employee's health The purpose of my thesis is to analyze contemporary legal regulation of employer's lability for damages of employee's health with its former regulation in the labor code from 1965 and its future regulation in the code 266/2006 Sb. The thesis is composed of eleven chapters. Chapter one is introductory and characterises the basic sources of law in this sphere. The chapter is subdivided into three parts - International agreements, European law and National legal regulation. Chapter two examines a description of terms occupational accident and occupational diseases. This chapter is subdivided into trhree parts. Part one gives a description of occupational accident, damage and causality between occupational accident and damage, which are necessary preconditions of employer's lability for occupational accident. The subsequent part is about occupatinal diseases and the employer's lability for them. In this part is also a list of occupational diseases. The third part of the chapter gives an attention to special institute of endangerment by occupational disease. The thesis offers in the first place a comprehensive summary of the current legislation of the topic. The main purpose of the thesis is to summarize the legislation of the labor- law and of the employee`s responsibility for any damage done to the employer where for this purpose there are analyzed particular sorts of the responsibility distinguished by the Labor Code. In details there are described first of all specific conditions that must be fulfilled to claim the responsibility on the employee for the damage, the possibility of the employee to disclaim it is not neglected either. The thesis focuses on the main differences that distinguish the particular sorts of the responsibility from each other. This thesis covers, in detail, theoretical background of micro-level stochastic model, which includes definition and properties of non-homogeneous Poisson process. This the- ory is then applied to real data generated by MTPL portfolio. Estimates of provisions under micro-level stochastic model are calculated using ordinary Monte Carlo simula- tion method. Results obtained from micro-level stochastic model are compared to Mack Chain-ladder estimates. 1
