Cabalková, Anna January 2018 (has links)
This diploma thesis deals with the situation of emerging private elementary schools in the Czech Republic. As this is a new phenomenon, only recognised in the past few years, there is little detailed evidence that would provide the necessary information about these schools; such as what kind of schools are registered and why they were created. This paper aim is to identify and describe the main types of these schools and understand their functions. The first part is to comprehend the shift in education and stress out the influence and role of new actors. This is achieved through providing the different perspectives on education and through description of supply and demand for education. This new phenomenon is also supported by the Theory of Exit, Voice & Loyalty which explains behaviour of private school's initiators and founders. The thesis also examines different authors' and publications' views on alternative and traditional schooling, private, public and non-public schools and the difficulties in comparison across different educational systems. The practical part and its research offers systematic and objective evaluation of the new schools being established and how they work. It also presents possible reasons for the rise in the number of new schools and, what implications this phenomenon can...

Analýza výuky biologie na SŠ s přihlédnutím k podílu praktické výuky. / Evaluation of High School practical courses

Chudomelová, Iva January 2014 (has links)
Science courses, as biology, chemistry and physics, constitute significant real subjects it is necessary to rely mainly on experiments and observations. In other words, the practical training is the hallmark of science. Practical training has a positive effect on increasing the attractiveness of individual objects, but in meaning of cognitive function is still debated its merits. What stand the laboratory work for the teachers, as a mediator of the teaching process? Research shows that the practical training teachers perceived positively mainly because of the perfect linking theory with practice, the lower the number of pupils and their proactive approach in teaching. Negatively seems time consuming, consisting mainly of fetch and training material. Keywords: biology education and science courses, lab courses, school laboratory, time allocated to science practices

Vondráčková, Stanislava January 2014 (has links)
The diploma thesis deals with the conditions of the principal office entrance and the training required in selected European countries. In the theoretical part the thesis deals with the current situation of principals, the possible professional support and preparation needed before the post entrance. It also follows up the role of principals, their competencies and the process of acquisition and selection of principals. The selection of first-rate principals and their training can influence the effectiveness of the school and the quality of education provided. Due to this, the entrance conditions and their preparation were inquired. The process of acquisition, selection and preparation of principals was described and compared in the case of selected European countries from 1994 to 2012. The results provided show the changing role of school principals, the growing workload requirements principals have to deal with, the growing meaning of preparation and education of future principals and the necessity to attract talented leaders. Even though the entrance conditions are different in distinct European countries, some issues they deal with are similar. Owing to this, the results can provide stimuli and inspiration for current and future principals and for everybody interested in education. KEYWORDS:...

Studie chovů zvířat na základních školách v České republice / Study of Animal Breeding at Primary Schools in the Czech Republic

Boučková, Veronika January 2011 (has links)
The theoretical part of my thesis is based on a study of specialized literature and interview. It contains two parts focused on a history of breeding and the importance of breeding today with an interest on importance of school breeding. The present state of hobby breeding at Primary Schools in the Czech Republic was surveyed in frame of two questionnaires. Teachers and directors of Primary School were respondents of the first investigation, students of the Breeding School of the second one. In both surveys, the respondents were asked about actual existence of breeding at their school, farmed species, housing conditions and their attitudes and motives regarding this issue. Opinions of psychologists regarding this issue are a part of interviews presented in the first part of the work. There is a possibility to compare three insights on the same subject - by teachers, students and psychologists. Part of my thesis contains also a comparison of outcomes with similar research. Regrettably, there is a lack of literature data regarding the issue of school breeding.

Beránková, Kamila January 2011 (has links)
Annotation: Title: Tennis and its training in the tennis schools The aim of my diploma work is to map the training process in the tennis schools where the young pupils are being trained and find out if they have the quality conditions for their training nowadays. I tried to determine with the aid of the specialized literature what kind of instruments the pupils have at the disposal. These and other knowledges related to the quality of the environment in the tennis schools I tried to map all over the Czech Republic. By support of the elaborated qustionnaire that I distributed to the coaches of the pupils I colected the information about the way and the quality of the training on the particular schools. In conclusion I interviewed Mrs. Stasa Matejovska the leader of the private tennis school. Detecting the concrete specifics of this school helped me to develop the questionnaire to more detailed information and to summarize my work better. Key words: tennis, tennis coaches, tennis schools

Kompetenční profil ředitelů škol a jejich další vzdělávání / Competence profile of headteachers and their in-service training

Bareš, Milan January 2012 (has links)
The thesis deals with the issues of headteachers' vocational competences and their needs for in-service training. The issue is assessed with regard to school degree and a phase of headmaster's career. The thesis is based on the need to clearly define what knowledge, abilities and attitudes should headteachers have to be able to manage the school successfully. This is also one of the conditions for creating a meaningful career system in schooling and a basis for a systematic further vocational development of headteachers. The thesis suggests a generic top performance profile of headteachers of all school degrees and a structure of their in-service training which corresponds to necessary competence. As a result, this should lead to an improvement of vocational training of headteachers and subsequently to higher quality of schools they manage.
