(The importance of universities for the development of regions, possible benefits and risks) In the framework of this thesis, the present state of Czech university education system will be described in the opening chapter. After defining the methodology of research, the relation between universities and the particular regions will be analysed and possible forms of cooperation described. Within the investigation the level of cooperation between universities and companies in the region Hradec Králové will be evaluated, based on outcome of the research problematic areas of cooperation defined and steps toward future effective cooperation proposed.

The goal of this thesis, with topic, "Education and Education of inhabitants of districts in Czech Rebublic with emphasis on district Vysočina", is to find out relation between education system and labour market in Vysočina district and whether the offer meets demand of Labour. In the first part of the thesis, basic concepts relating to education (upbringing, education, lifelong learning) are explained. Subsequently the educational system in the Czech Republic and related regulations and ducuments are described. In the second part of the thesis, the development of the educational system in the Czech Republic is analyzed and the changes in the educational structure of population of the Czech Republic are characterized. The third part of the thesis describes in more detail the development of education in the Vysočina district, and then this part follows the development of demand for labour, the development of jobs in the district and link the labour market in areas of education in Vysočina district. The thesis uses the statistical data from the (Czech Statistical Office) CSO, data from the Ministry of Education, Institute for informatik on education, regional yearbooks and information from key companies in the district Vysočina. Data is processed into tables or graphs.

Legal aspects of university funding Abstract The topic of the dissertation is the legal aspects of universities funding in selected European countries, but especially the countries of the European Union. The choice of the topic of the dissertation resulted from my interest in this specific issue, which is an integral part of financial law and financial science as an important branch of law as a scientific discipline. I set the goals of the dissertation in accordance with the theoretical-empirical- application character of the dissertation. The main goal of the dissertation is to analyze in detail the legal aspects of funding terciar education institutions in the countries of the European Union and other European countries, while I will also state the necessary connections in the context of the topic, which also applies to private universities. I will elaborate the issue of legal aspects of university financing, especially in the Czech Republic, the Slovak Republic, Hungary and the Republic of Poland. Of course, we will work on the topic in terms of specifics in other European countries with emphasis on university funding from all existing, possible and potential resources. The main aim of the thesis which was created in collaboration with City Strategy Office is analysing the economic contributions of students in Brno. The thesis includes quantitative research focusing on students preferences in the way of accommodation and transport in city, spending their free time and structure of their incomes and expenses. Information from the research is compared with research from 2014. It has been found out that the outcomes of repeatedly performed survey are similar, students preferences, their expenses and incomes have not been significantly changed. The results of this survey will be processed in cooperation with City Strategy Office and implied into new strategic plan for Brno 2050.

Trendy ve vývoji zahraničních preprimárních a primárních škol / Progress in trends of foreign pre-primary and primary schools

This dissertation deals with new approaches of alternative schooling in foreign countries which recently became very popular. These three schools and approaches chosen for this dissertation are not known in Czech Republic yet. The dissertation presents these alternative schools and proposes alternative brushing up of the ideas to the maintain schools. The first school and the first approach of alternative is democratic school or also free school. The oldest democratic school is Summerhill in the east of England. The second interesting approach and school is Te Whāriki from New Zealand. The framework deals with education through socio-cultural context. The last representative of schooling which dissertation deals with will be Reggio Emillia, which is from Italy and based on ideas of Loris Malaguzzi. The dissertation applies to main philosophies of these three alternatives, which appears abroad and mainly in Great Britain. This piece of work evaluates similarities and differences of these alternative schools. According to from which country the concrete school comes from and circumstances influencing the origin. The diploma thesis is focused on interpersonal relations in curriculum at chosen primary school. Both formal and informal curriculum of the lower secondary school are studied here and also the integration of the interpersonal issues. The social psychology importance in the influence of the social background issue on upbringing and education of children is described in theoretical part of this thesis, just as the application of the social psychology in pedagogy for understanding children and adolescents in their pupils' social circumstanced, integration of the interpersonal issues in the teaching document - curriculum, chosen primary schools and term definition in the form of literary research. Practical part is divides into two sections. The first section includes quantitative research accomplished among teachers and pupils at lower secondary school by the qualitative method, in which teachers and pupils answer questions. The questionnaires survey the point of view from both sides of teachers and pupils and mutual interaction. Teachers and pupils assess everybody they meet daily. The number of schools and education organizations founded by churches and religious communities increased a lot since 1990, when the political situation made it possible. The dissertation reveals if its increase has been stable, or if most of the secondary church education schools have arisen in three years period just after the Velvet Revolution. Then it states the main reasons for the church schools' popularity in our country. The dissertation aims to map the numbers of church schools, focusing at the secondary schools and its branch representation and compare their branch categories representation in the education system in Slovakia. Moreover, the Czech and foreign church educational organization are introduced. The dissertation is based on the historical development of church schools and describes its present position in the regional school system. The methodology of quantitative survey - content analysis is focused on the comparison between the Czech and Slovak Republic situation within the categories of secondary school education. To reach a better understanding of the issues, the situation in other EU countries has been outlined briefly.

Postavení absolventů soukromých a veřejnoprávních vysokých škol na trhu práce / The position of graduates of public and private universities on the labour market

The work examines the diversity of the status of graduates of private and public colleges in the labor market. It describes the main differences between the two types of institutions. It includes argument for the existence of both types of institutions and the issue is viewed in terms of cost recovery of investments in education. As the main analysis method it is used questionnaires and structured interviews with personnel agencies. The main hypothesis of this study was proved. It means that graduates of private colleges are evaluated worse than graduates of public universities in the labor market.
