Travel periodicals are one of the means, how can readers - potential tourists to learn about a specific destination, or be motivated to visit presented country. This diploma thesis describes the development and transformation of the tourism magazines that are published in the Czech Republic after 1989. The attention is focused on the title COT business (for professionals) and National Geographic (for the public). Although targeted at different audiences, both periodicals bring news and coverage from destinations, interviews with travelers, practical travel advices and thus contribute for the increase or decline of demand for various places. Selected magazines gradually gained a strong position on the Czech media market and can be thus described as prototypes in their segment. Especially in recent years in comparison with the competition selected periodicals have declined in sold costs, advertising revenues and readership. The aim of this thesis is to investigate the market overall with selected travel periodicals and also identify opportunities that should selected titles (publishers) include into marketing planning, if they want to stay "leaders" on the media market. Title: Comparison of defined subjects on the dance field Objectives: The main target of this thesis is creation of analyses of two dance groups from Czech Republic, specifically Paul-Dance Jilemnice and Enliven Centre, followed by mutual comparison and creation of set of recommendations to help improve their further work. Methods: In this thesis I used the internal analysis, PEST analysis and comparative analysis, on whose basis I created SWOT analyses of both dance groups, thanks to which I suggested possible recommendations. Results: This thesis brings information about their current situation to both dance groups, points out the shortages and recommends steps for improvement. Both groups have been affected by worldwide economic crisis, which caused not only loss of members, but also loss of sponsors. Moreover, Paul-Dance collects low membership fees, which ensure stable flow of finance to the budget; Enliven Centre does not have all individual age categories filled. Title: Sport event management: Jizerská 50 Goal: The aim of the master thesis is to create proposal and suggestions for the 50th Jizerska 50 and the next upcoming event. Methods: In this thesis was used the qualitative analysis of Jizerska 50 - form of case study, participant observation, semi-structured interview and complemented by the SWOT analysis. Results: The result of master thesis is the set of proposals, which are based on the knowledge and results of Jizerska 50 in previous years and its SWOT analysis. Analysis revealed the possibility of applying new variations for the 50th Jizerska 50 and the next upcoming event. Also suggestions for project management effectiveness, sponsorship and event program. My diploma thesis called "Brand positioning World Class Czech Republic" is focused on the analysis of the position of the brand on the Prague market of fitness centers. As the result of this analysis, I conclude my work by the recommendations to improve marketing communication of World Class company. In the theoretical part, I defined the concept of marketing, I have summarized his history, describing the various elements of the marketing mix and SWOT analysis. The next chapter is devoted to market segmentation, targeting and positioning. To conclude the theoretical part, I define the brand, its history, elements and types, I also mentioned the brand value. In the practical part, I assess the fitness field and also market of fitness centers in Prague. In the next chapter, I presented the brand of World Class Czech Republic, including its history, philosophy, representation in Prague and in the world as well and offer of services. Next, I drew on the results of my own research survey. I described a SWOT analysis and competitive analysis. Based on the responses I have analyzed the target group for the World Class brand. Subsequently, I analyzed the current marketing communication of the company, and I propose appropriate amendments that would increase its effectiveness. In the epilogue, I noted the main recommendations for brand communication.

The aim of my master thesis is to analyse the possibilities of entry of the company BLAŽEK PRAHA, a.s. on the russian market and to propose the optimal marketing strategy for the entry. The first chapter introduces the company BLAŽEK PRAHA, a.s. The second chapter contains the PEST analysis of the russian market. The third chapter describes the expansion of the company on the polish and slovak market and shows the possible reasons for different acceptance of the brand Blažek on both markets. The fourth chapter contains the SWOT analysis of the company BLAŽEK PRAHA, a.s. for the russian market, and the analysis of the russian retail market of men formal clothes, the segmentation of the russian consumers and the analysis of the competition of the company on the russian market. In the fifth chapter I defined the marketing strategy of he company BLAŽEK PRAHA, a.s. for its entry on the russian market. In this chapter I also described the first steps the company should take when entering the russian market and mistakes the company should avoid not to fail when entering it.

The aim of this diploma thesis is to evaluate the meaning of reported data for users. The evaluation is based on the analysis of the accounting data of P Z P MERLIN s.r.o. The diploma thesis is divided into the theoretical and practical part. The theoretical part is elaborated according to specialized literary publications and sources, which are focused on controlling, reporting, reporting users, information sources for reporting, classification and processing of reports, key performance indicators, models of economic evaluation of the company. In the practical part, the characteristics of the company P Z P MERLIN s.r.o. is described. Then, the analysis of the company's financial situation for the period from 2013 to 2017 follows. using key performance indicators and models of economic assessment. In the practical part, the analysis of the company's current reporting system is performed and evaluated on the basis of the internal audit procedures. At the end of the practical part, there is a recommendation and a proposal how to structure the company's data so that their users can perceive them in all contexts and parameters that are important for their decision making.

Development planning and project cycle analysis for sericulture in Central Java

Die Serikultur, Produktion und Verarbeitung von Seide durch Ernährung der Seidenraupen mit Maulbeerblättern, hat ihren Ursprung in China. Von dort aus breitete sie sich jedoch in vielen anderen Ländern aus. Die Arbeit konzentriert sich auf einen Fall Indonesiens, analysiert die Prinzipien des Projektzyklus'' des BSA-Projekts in Zentral-Java, um durch Verknüpfung von induktiver und deduktiver wissenschaftlicher Vorgehensweise zu ermitteln, wie ein Projekt praktisch hinsichtlich grundlegender Methoden und ihrer Generalisierbarkeit analysiert werden kann. Ziele der Arbeit sind zunächst die Darlegung der Implementierung der Entwicklungsziele in einem konkreten Fall. Weiteres Ziel ist die Veranschaulichung der Ergebnisse einer Investitionsanalyse, um auf der Basis aller durchgeführten Analysen die Rolle der Serikultur als Annäherung zum Ziel der potentiellen Cash-Gewinnung und Armutsreduzierung in Zentral-Java zu beurteilen. Es wurde eine Investitionsanalyse und Sensitivitätsanalyse nach drei unterschiedlich Betriebsgrößen erstellt. Um einen Strategieplan zu entwickeln, wurde eine Regressionsanalyse anhand einer Evaluierung der Maulbeersorten Morus alba L. (Ma), Morus cathayana (Mc) and Morus multicaulis (Mm) und der optimalen Frequenz der Fütterung der Seidenraupen unternommen. Die institutionelle Organisationsleistung wurde anhand einer SWOT-Analyse (Strengths; Weaknesses; Opportunities; Threats) ausgewertet. Die sich daraus ergebenden Schlussfolgerungen wurden im Hinblick auf die zukunftsfähigen Unternehmungen im Projekt BSA dargestellt. / Sericulture, the production and processing of natural silk from silkworms feeding on mulberry leaves has its origin in China, but has spread to many other countries. This study focuses on Indonesia, analyses the principles of the project cycle of sericulture project in Central Java to show in a combination of inductive and deductive scientific procedure how a very practical project can be analysed for its basic methods and generalisability. The objectives of the study are to follow through the implementation of development goals for a concrete example; to demonstrate the consequences of an investment analysis, to discuss on the basis of all the analyses carried out the potential role of sericulture as an approach to cash generation and poverty alleviation in Central Java. Investment analysis and sensitivity analysis for different farm size categories were carried out. In order to develop strategic plan, a regression analysis was undertaken to evaluate the mulberry varieties Morus. alba L (Ma), Morus cathayana (Mc) and Morus multicaulis (Mm) and the best frequency of feeding on silk production. The institutional performance was subjected to a Strength Weakness Opportunity Threat (SWOT)-Analysis. Emerging conclusions are presented with a view to their future application to the project at Banyumas Sutera Alam.
