Marina Colasanti, escritora mais reconhecida dentro da literatura infanto-juvenil, traz a marca da zombaria enobrecida por meio da re(construção) de textos e personagens clássicos da literatura de autoria masculina, utilizados pela autora como meio de “melhorar” tais textos, de modo a “desamarrar a voz desses vários ‘eus-mulheres’ ”. Tendo em vista a importância desta proposta para as pesquisas acadêmicas e também levandose em conta que as versáteis obras da referida autora ainda não têm o devido destaque no meio acadêmico, este estudo pretende dar luz e voz ao elemento do sarcasmo na formação de paródias criadas a partir de minicontos, em conformidade com a quebra dos paradigmas femininos da mulher “amarrada”, servil, apagada diante de seu marido, construídos pela alteridade patriarcal falocêntrica muito antes das primeiras pegadas feministas no século XIX. Para tanto, dividimos nosso trabalho acadêmico em três capítulos, a saber: no primeiro, “O miniconto colasantiano – a construção de tramas existenciais ‘a pouca tinta’ ”, abordamos o miniconto dentro das teorias do conto e de novíssimos estudos desse tipo de conto curto, de maneira a exaltar as técnicas de escrita de alguns dos minicontos de Marina Colasanti. No segundo capítulo, “O humor corrosivo maquia bocas femininas”, entramos... / This study aims to unveil the elaborated sarcasm, by using parody, found in various “female voices”, which occur in some of the texts from Contos de Amor Rasgados, which are short short stories. Marina Colasanti, a much more renowned writer among children’s literature readers, shows us an ennobled mockery through the (re)creation of texts and classic characters attached to the male authorship, which were employed by that writer as a way of “improving” such texts and “unchaining the voices of those several ‘female speeches’ ”. Considering the importance of this analysis for the academic researches and also taking into account that Colsanti´s skillful writings still have not been properly highlighted in the scientific field, this academic work intends to spotlight sarcasm in the development of parodies from microfictions, according to the deconstruction of feminine paradigms, such as the “tied” women, the subservient ones, blanked out before their husbands; and all of these archetypes were conceived by the phallocentric patriarchic alterity much more before the first feminist steps on the second half of the nineteenth century. Este trabalho representa a terceira etapa de um projeto maior que visa à reconstituição de toda a fortuna crítica do escritor; O primeiro levantamento, realizado por Jane Christina Pereira, intitula-se Estudo crítico da bibliografia sobre João Antônio: 1963 – 1976; a segunda fase corresponde à pesquisa realizada por Cássia Ferreira Alves, cujo título é Estudo Crítico da bibliografia sobre João Antônio (1978-1989); uma quarta parte está prevista para ser realizada por outro pesquisador que finalizará a análise dos textos publicados desde 1996 até os dias atuais. O material aqui analisado mostra como a crítica, publicada em jornais, interpretou e divulgou as obras de João Antônio em uma determinada época. Este trabalho aponta dados relevantes para fundamentar estudos sobre o autor, tanto os de caráter mais avançados, como os históricos-críticos, quanto os de fases iniciais, para os que desconhecem a bibliografia do escritor. / This study proposes an analysis of the João Antonio’s critic reception (1937-1996), published between the time from 1990 to 1996, from a collection of texts done by himself and located in his archive, at Faculdade de Ciências e Letras de Assis – UNESP. this study represents the third part of a bigger project that seeks to rebuild all the critic treasure about this author, The first research, done by Jane Christina Pereira, is titled Critic Study on the Bibliography of João Antônio: 1963-1976; the second part done by Cássia Alves Ferreira, is titled Estudo Crítico da Bibliografia sobre João Antônio (1963-1976); and it is predicted a fourth part, to be conquered by another researcher, which, will finish analyzing the texts from 1996 to our days.. The material analyzed demonstrates how critics on newspapers interpreted and divulged the work of João Antônio in a determinate time. This work raises relevant data that can be used as foundation for studies of the author, even the ones with an advanced aspect, or the historic and critics, or the ones that are just begin and to whom the João Antonio’s bibliography is unknown.

Analisamos tanto os textos publicados em jornais, revistas e livros, quanto as teses e dissertações acadêmicas cujo conteúdo revela as várias faces do trabalho jornalístico-literário do escritor paulista. A leitura desses textos permite investigar como o escritor é representado no atual cenário da literatura brasileira e de que modo o seu reaparecimento no mercado literário está sendo tratado pela crítica. Nesse sentido, destacamos a maneira como a crítica de periódicos lida com a memória da obra joãoantoniana e em que medida a crítica universitária contribui para seu estudo. Assim, levantamos alguns aspectos ressaltados pelos estudiosos que ajudam a compreender a obra de João Antônio, adicionando novos elementos a sua fortuna crítica, que se encontra em plena construção no período estudado. Veremos, então, em que momento os críticos dialogam e quais as novas propostas de abordagem do texto joãoantoniano. / This work has for purpose the study and systematization of the pertanining texts to the critical richness for João Antônio, in the period from 1996 to 2006. We in such a way analyze the texts published in periodicals, magazines and books, how much the thesis and academic works whose content discloses the some faces of the journalistic-literary work of São Paulo writer. The reading of these texts allows to investigate as the writer is represented in the current scene of Brazilian literature and that way as the critical college student contributes for its study. Thus, we raise some studious salient aspects for that they help to understand the work of João Antônio, adding new elements on its critical richness, that if finds in full construction in the studied period. We will see, then, what moment the critics dialogue and which the new proposals of approch of the “joãoantoniano” text.

This thesis on the Rise of the French Organ Symphony refers especially to the relevant works of Alexandre Guilmant and Charles-Marie Widor. It commences with a survey of the historical background, dealing with the development of French organ music from the 16th to 19th Century and the development of organ building in France from the 17th to 19th Century. It then proceeds to descriptions of the organs of St Clotilde, La Trinité and St Sulpice Churches in Paris, which are followed by biographical profiles of Cesar Franck, Alexandre Guilmant and Charles-Marie Widor, respectively. The major part of the thesis is devoted to a detailed analysis of the organ sonatas of Guilmant and the organ symphonies of Widor, which are discussed from the point of their cyclic outline and aspects of form and of style. The final chapter summarises the major findings of the analytical research and evaluates by comparative method, the merits and achievements of the two composers. In addition, Appendices are attached, providing specifications of various French organs and pictorial material relevant to the thesis. A separate cassette tape features characteristic sounds of Cavailie-Coll organs.

A presente dissertação visa, ao mapear e analisar as concepções elaboradas pelos alunos na aquisição do sistema de escrita no contexto da escola especial, oferecer uma versão das possibilidades de aprendizagem dos alunos “com deficiência mental”. As produções e interpretações escritas (escrita do nome, palavras, frases, textos) realizadas na dinâmica da sala de aula de uma turma coordenada pela pesquisadora apresentaram nove alunos na condição de “leitores e de escritores em processo”, construtores de variadas e particulares reflexões em interação com este objeto de conhecimento. A intervenção efetiva da professora e do contexto escolar enquanto intérpretes e informantes deste conhecimento culturalmente organizado tornou-se fundamental no sentido de oferecer uma série de vivências significativas com atos de leitura e escrita, possibilitando aos alunos um questionar-se e o desejo de apropriar-se da cultura escrita. Observou-se uma rede (não linear) de concepções que oscilavam entre diferentes níveis de conceitualização. O olhar teórico foi determinante no sentido de possibilitar visualizar o processo de alfabetização, dando a compreender o que poderia ser entendido como “erro, imaturidade ou deficiência” como formas de pensar diferenciadas da convencional, pertinentes ao processo de desenvolvimento e de aprendizagem em geral, como nos mostram os autores Emilia Ferreiro, Ana Teberosky e David Olson. Reconheceu-se o sujeito inventivo da teoria piagetiana. Este entendimento marca possibilidades de se viver novas formas de ser, diferenciadas do padrão “deficiente mental”: o de um aluno que também pode vir a ser letrado, independentemente de dominar ou não a forma oficial do sistema de escrita. Uma pessoa que assina seu nome e suas aprendizagens. / The present dissertation presents the concepts students with mental deficiencies are able to build when acquiring the written code, and discusses a version of these students´ learning possibilities. Their written productions and interpretations (spelling of names and words, writing of full statements and texts) emerge as a result of a classroom dynamic work coordenated by the present researcher. The study finds out nine students as readers-and-writers-in-process – able of producing varied and private reflections in interaction with the target object. The effective intervention of the teacher and the whole school context, as interpreters and communicators of this culturally-organized-knowledge, became crucial factors to offer students a series of meagninful experiences of life along to the reading and writing tasks, so the students behaved like questioning themselves and had the wish to acquire the written code. It was possible to observe a growing network of concepts (not in a linear basis), which floated among different levels of nominalization. The theoretical choice, making it clear what we should consider or should not consider as an “error”, “imaturity” or a “deficiency”. It also was decisive to best visualize the literacy process in a different approach from the ones used by convencional learning and development practices, as Emilia Ferreiro, Ana Teberosky and David Olson have pointed out. It made possible to recognize the inventive subject according to the piagetian theory. The understanding that underlines this work sets new possibilities of living new ways of being, which differ from the mental deficient standard. We talk about a student that is also able to become lectured, and that despite acquiring or not the official writen code, is a person who is able to sign his/her name and his/her productions.

American painter Ed Ruscha has been using medium of photography since his studies at Chouinard ART Institute in Los Angeles. In 1963 he published author's book Twentysix Gasoline Stations which depicts gasoline stations on the road between Los Angeles and Oklahoma. My diploma thesis describes Ruscha´s book and the time and circumstances under which it was being made. I am putting Ruscha´s book in the context of cold war and atmosphere of this period. I am writing about american individualism and expansion of automobility and its strategies. I focused deeply on Ruscha´s early artist period and his studies in Los Angeles. I am describing the historical context of Ruscha´s way from Oklahoma to Los Angeles. I emphasize its influence on american society. I inquire Ruscha's point of view to art, art history and his resistance to mainstream that was coming from New York to California. The book Twentysix Gasoline Stations was published three years after Ruscha's graduation, so it is considered as an early masterpiece. I am writing about fusion of art and roadside imagery and its historical context of 30's and 40's. I emphasize their difference and their similarity. The field of my study was extended by Paul Virilio´s essay Aesthetics of Disappearance where Virilio draws relationship between automobilism and cinematography. Through his essay I am coming back to Ed Ruscha and thanks to it I am finding new relationships in Ruscha's work. I enhance the atmosphere of this period by mentioning roadmovies and its link to american individualism and explosion of automobilism. I contrast this context with situation in Europe, its identity and geopolitical influences. At the end of my thesis I emphasize Ruscha's work and his contribution to questions about aesthetic and non-aesthetic and his reflexion of automobilism expansion and a book form as a new way to present art.

A concepção da interpretação de uma obra musical pode advir de um processo sustentado por reflexão e ímpeto, agregando razão e emoção, o qual é gerado por impulsos e diversos conhecimentos, sendo estes musicais e/ou extra-musicais, objetivos e subjetivos. Estes são criados e reunidos ao longo da vida, durante o período de formação musical e a partir de contatos com diversas artes e normalmente dinamizado ao longo da leitura de uma determinada obra, de maneira consciente e inconsciente. Aprofundam-se através da prática musical, pesquisas e também da chamada tradição oral, através da relação mestre/discípulo. Este memorial disserta sobre meu processo de leitura, estudo e performance das Valsas Nobres e Sentimentais de Maurice Ravel, realizado durante meu curso de mestrado. Procuro reconhecer e esclarecer algumas de minhas escolhas musicais e os conhecimentos que mobilizei, adquiri e transmutei ao longo deste processo, paralelamente às reflexões de meu orientador, Ney Fialkow. Para tanto, foi necessário o registro de alguns dos meus encontros de orientação, momentos de meus estudos, algumas de minhas performances e idéias que foram geradas e despertadas durante todo este percurso. O possível reconhecimento e verbalização de todos estes registros podem muitas vezes tornar-se imprecisos, ou até mesmo impossíveis. Não há aqui a pretensão de desenvolver um guia de estudo, nem tampouco uma versão final da minha interpretação, já que esta se encontra sempre em movimento e renovação. É um registro de um determinado momento e como o mesmo se deu, ora sustentado por argumentos fundamentados em pesquisas ora por um universo fantástico e etéreo. / The interpretation concept of a musical piece may result from a process based on reflection and momentum, adding reason and emotion, which is generated by impulses and diverse knowledge, being this knowledge musical and / or extra-musical, objective and subjective. It is created and gathered throughout lifetime, during the period of musical training and from contacts with various types of art being normally activated while reading a particular piece of music in a consciously and unconsciously manner. This knowledge is deepened through musical practice, research, and the so called oral tradition, and through the master / disciple relationship. This memorial speaks about my process of reading, study and performance of the Noble and Sentimental Waltzes by Maurice Ravel, performed during my Master’s course. I try to recognize and clarify some of my musical choices and the knowledge I activated, acquired and transmuted along this process, in parallel with the reflections of my advisor, Ney Fialkow. Therefore, it was necessary to record some of my meetings with the advisor, moments of personal studies and some of my performances and ideas that were generated and arouse along this period of time. The possibility of recognition and verbalization of all these records can often become inaccurate or even impossible. There is not any intention here to develop a study guide, nor a final version of my interpretation, as this is always dynamic and renewable. It is a record of a particular moment and how it was carried out. At times, supported by arguments based on researches and at other times by a fantastic and ethereal universe.

A presente dissertação tem como objetivo propor uma via de acesso aos diários de Francis Pelichek que atualize as discussões acerca do estatuto deste objeto no contexto da história da arte no Rio Grande do Sul, retirando-o de sua posição estanque dentro da história. Cientes da heterogeneidade de seus registros e de sua condição simultânea de documento e obra de arte, propomos problematizar o objeto, tanto como obra como quanto documento e aproximá-lo da ideia de arquivo, tendo como horizonte as ideias de Michel Foucault e Jacques Derrida sobre o termo “arquivo”. Para tanto, faz-se necessária uma profunda análise dos registros que compõem os diários, bem como a articulação entre o objeto e os arquivos pessoais de Pelichek, a partir da pesquisa de campo no Arquivo Histórico do Instituto de Artes da UFRGS. Buscamos, ao final deste trabalho, ao menos ter estabelecido questões de base para futuras análises dos diários sob diferentes pontos de vista e esperamos que nosso empenho em movimentar este objeto possibilite maiores aprofundamentos sobre cada um de seus elementos de registro. / This dissertation aims to propose a means of access to the diaries of Francis Pelichek which updates discussions concerning the status of this object in the context of art history in Rio Grande do Sul, removing it from its sealed position within history. Aware of the heterogeneity of its records and its simultaneous condition of document and work of art, we propose to problematize the object, as much as a work of art and document and bring it closer to the idea of file, having as horizon the ideas of Michel Foucault and Jacques Derrida on the term "file". Therefore, it is necessary a deep analysis of the records that compose the diaries, as well as the link between the object and the personal archives of Pelichek, from field research at the Historical Archive of the Art Institute of UFRGS. We seek, at the end of this work, at least to have established a basis for future diaries’ analysis from different points of view and we hope that our efforts to move this object enable more insights on each of its elements of record.

This article analyzes the oral poetry, izibongo, produced by Xhosa oral poet Bongani Sitole (both in book and technological form). It will trace this poetry from the moment it was orally produced, through to the technologizing and publication of this poetry in book form and on a website. The initial part of this article looks at the life and work of the poet. A contextual analysis of selected poetry is provided. The latter part of the article concentrates on issues related to technology and its relationship to the oral and written word. The term ‘technauriture’ has been coined in order to refer to this process. The contribution of eLearning4Africa (www.elearning4africa.com) to the digitization process of Sitole’s poetry is acknowledged.
