The work deals with the management of stocks in a particular company. With the help of available literature focuses on the baseline situation in the company, describes the current system of inventory management of raw materials and proposes measures to improve the management of stocks in the selected raw materials warehouse. The aim of work is to change the current system in order to reduce the average physical stock, and thus a reduction in funds tied in stocks of raw materials. The basic thesis is ABC analysis of stock items made in the warehouse of raw materials.

Thesis on the theme "The Management Of Stock Of Spare Parts Logistics Chains" deals with the specification of logistic chains, spare parts inventory management and functioning of these chains. The theoretical part focuses on the definition of the theoretical background needed to understand the functioning of these chains. It ranges from the definition of the logistics chain, through ABC analysis to the detailed characteristics of the chain of spare parts. Besides a general overview the thesis includes example from real practice. In the practical section, through simulation models thesis presents the operation and management of the spare parts logistics chains. The practical section shows the simulation model of the current situation and compares it with the model after the introduction of stock management in the company.

En viktig del av lagerhållning är att placera artiklar på ett sådant sätt att materialhanteringen i lagret sker så effektivt som möjligt, t.ex. genom minskad tid för plockning av artiklar. När artiklar ska plockas, för att packas och avsändas, kan det ske utifrån olika strategier, t.ex. med utgångspunkt i varje order som kunden lägger. Beroende på hur plockningen går till kan artiklar placeras på ett sätt som effektiviserar plockningen och därmed minskar plocktiden. Hellmans förlag är ett tredjepartslogistikföretag som lagerhåller utbildningsmaterial. Många av deras artiklar med låg plockfrekvens är placerade på åtkomliga lagerplatser medan artiklar med högre plockfrekvens är placerade på mindre åtkomliga platser. Vidare är andra artiklar placerade utspridda på ett flertal hyllor som i praktiken till stor del är tomma. Syftet med studien var att undersöka artikelplaceringen i Hellmans lager samt att med hjälp av ABC-analyser föreslå bättre artikelplaceringar för att reducera plocktiden. För att utföra passande ABC-analyser studerades relevanta klassificeringskriterier. Observationer och intervjuer genomfördes i Hellmans lager för att beskriva artikelplaceringen i dagsläget samt för att se möjligheter till förbättrad artikelplacering. Med hjälp av historiska data genomfördes ABC-analyser i lagret som utgjorde grunden för en ny artikelplacering. Artikelplaceringen i Hellmans buffertlager saknar särskild artikelnummerordning eller klassificering av något slag. I plocklagret är hyllorna till stor del tomma eftersom endast 12 % av lagerplatserna faktiskt ockuperas. Vidare är nästan 90 % av antalet artiklar placerade på den bortre halvan av hyllsektionerna. Med artiklars plockfrekvens som kriterium utfördes ABC-analyser för att klassificera artiklarna och föreslå nya placeringar. Förbrukning av artiklar användes som sekundärkriterium i dubbla ABC-analyser men bedömdes missvisande och användes därför inte i förbättringsförslagen. Med de endimensionella ABC-analyserna som grund förslås att placera artiklar utifrån fallande plockfrekvens samtidigt som någon typ av artikelnummerordning uppehålls samt att den höjdnivå som är närmast åtkomlig prioriteras.

The diploma work is focused on a store layout optimization and the related areas. The work is divided into four parts where the first three parts described the theoretical thesis. The first chapter is about the marketing theory -- a customer's behavioral rules in a retail store and a correct store layout. The second chapter is based on the logistics theory and describes the methods of a range of goods categorization according to the different views. The third chapter is focused on the operations research theory and the assignment problem's models. The last chapter describes in detail a real example workflow -- the store layout optimization for Linde Gas Company. The objective is identification of the lucrative areas in the stores, the sold range of goods analysis and the creation of the store layout which will respect a customer's behavioral rules and which will also promote the sales of the selected goods.

This Master's thesis focuses on chosen logistic processes of the specific e-shop. In the theoretical part, the specific environment of e-shops is described. This part also contains theoretical base for providers of courier, express and parcel services. The practical part of the thesis is divided into two parts. The first one shows ABC analysis and its suitability for the chosen entity. In the other part, sent parcels are analyzed, focusing on its structure and frequency. In the conclusion of the paper, there is an evaluation of benefits from the proceedings taken during the elaboration of this thesis.

The thesis is inquiring into theory of reverse logistics, its processes are demonstrated on the example of the company Becker Bohemia s.r.o. The aim of the thesis is to define the position and function of reverse logistics in supply chain and its description on the basis of activities of a company that deals with waste collection. The research is divided into 3 theoretical chapters and one practital chapter. The theoretical part introduces the selected topic. The practical part presents Becker Bohemia s.r.o. at first, followed by a description of its technical base and the processes handling with different types of waste. The conclusion of the practical part is devoted to an analysis of the grounds of the company.

Benznidazol (BZ), fármaco utilizado para o tratamento da doença de Chagas, apresenta eficácia limitada na fase crônica da doença. Falhas terapêuticas foram atribuídas majoritariamente a diferenças na suscetibilidade a BZ entre as cepas do T. cruzi. Resultados prévios de nosso grupo indicam que o gene de um transportador ABC da subfamília G, TcABCG1, encontra-se super-expresso em cepas resistentes a BZ. Transportadores ABCG foram associados a resistência a drogas em vários organismos. O objetivo central do presente estudo foi caracterizar o gene TcABCG1 em cepas de diferentes linhagens e cuja suscetibilidade a BZ foi definida. A sequência do gene TcABCG1 (1.998 pb) de 14 cepas foi determinada. Observamos algumas variações de aminoácidos na proteína ABC entre as cepas. Análises genealógicas de TcABCG1 definiram quatro clados (TcI, TcII, TcIII e Tcbat). Os dois haplótipos das cepas híbridas TcV e TcVI agruparam com os clados TcII e TcIII. Dados de imunofluorescência indireta em epimastigotas indicam que TcABCG1 está localizado em vesículas intracelulares. / Benznidazole (BZ), drug employed for Chagas disease treatment, has limited efficacy in the chronic phase of the disease. Treatment failures have been attributed mostly to differences in BZ susceptibility among T. cruzi strains. Previous data from our group indicate that one ABC transporter gene of the G subfamily, named TcABCG1, is overexpressed in BZ-resistant strains. ABCG transporters have been associated to drug resistance in several organisms. The central goal of the present study was to characterize TcABCG1 gene in strains belonging to different lineages and of defined BZ susceptibility. TcABCG1 gene sequence (1,998 bp) of 14 strains was determined. Few amino acid substitutions were detected in the ABC transporter protein among the strains. Genealogic analyses of TcABCG1 showed four distinct clades (TcI, TcII, TcIII and Tcbat). The two haplotypes of TcV and TcVI hybrid strains clustered with TcII and TcIII clades. Indirect immunofluorescence analysis in epimastigote forms indicated that TcABCG1 is localized to intracellular vesicles.

The diploma thesis is focused on analyzing the range of suppliers in the IFE - CR, according to the used methods for finding the suitable candidates for implementing a returnable packaging. Apart from there are identify the materials, which could be used for reversible covers. The part of thesis is the proposal of covers and their economic evaluation and comparison with actual using containers. For getting the advantage of introducing the returnable packaging, the payback time of the project is determined. The characteristics of including area such as logistics, supply chain, production and used methods of analysis are part of the diploma thesis.

This thesis focuses on the management of a selected part of the production process in IMI Precision Engineering and aims to present a proposal for the introduction of a new approach to managing the production task of the given production process part using the Kanban model. The subject of the analysis is the inventory of the given production process part, which are analysed based on ABC / XYZ analysis, the conclusions of which, presented in the design part of the thesis, serve as basis for the creation of a proposal for the introduction of Kanban.
