In this magister study ,,Christian Christmas and its Practice in Prague" I write about Christmas in Prague. I write about a Christmas traditions, weather sayings and about the ways of celebration Chistmas in Prague. This diploma has two parts. The first part is a theoretical part and the second part is a practical part. In the theoretical part I write about Christian traditions, traditions and weather sayings. For example I write about saint Barbora, Mikulas, Lucy and Stephan. In this magister study I also write about Christmas Eve. This day has a lot of traditons, for example people cut an apple or throw the boot. They also sing Christmas carols and watch the fairy tales in the Czech television. The Czech Christmas has a lot of symbols, for example the Christmas carols, Christmas trees, Christmas decorations, a carp, Christmas candles and Christmas concerts of popular and Christmas music. The new tradition is watching the fairy tales in the televiion or shopping a lot of Christmas gifts. In the practical part of my study I write about a Christmas celebration in Prague in the 21st century. I know that the most important is the Christmas Eve with a Christmas dinner, the Christmas tree, the Christmas traditions and the Christmas gifts. Η συγκεκριμένη διατριβή ειδίκευσης αποτελεί μια προσπάθεια συγκριτικής μελέτης νέων πολυμερικών ηλεκτρολυτικών μεμβρανών για στοιχεία καύσιμου υψηλής θερμοκρασίας, με το PBI (πολυβενζιμιδαζόλιο). Αρχικά πραγματοποιήθηκε μια φασματοσκοπική και ηλεκτροχημική μελέτη των μεμβρανών. Πιο συγκεκριμένα μελετήθηκαν η μεμβράνη ADVENT TPS® και τα μίγματα SFSX-PBIY (σουλφονωμένο δεκαφλουοροδιφαινύλιο με εξαφλουοροισοπροπυλενό- διφαινολη - πολυβενζιμιδαζόλιο) εμποτισμένα με πυκνό διάλυμα φωσφορικού οξέος 85%. Η ηλεκτροχημική μελέτη αφορούσε τη μέτρηση της ιοντικής αγωγιμότητας συναρτήσει του βαθμού εμποτισμού, ενώ η φασματοσκοπική μελέτη πραγματοποιήθηκε με τη χρήση δονητικής φασματοσκοπίας FT-IR και FT-Raman επίσης συναρτήσει του βαθμού εμποτισμού, κάνοντας έτσι δυνατή τη συσχέτιση των δονητικών φασμάτων με την ιοντική αγωγιμότητα. Με τη φασματοσκοπία FT-Raman μελετήθηκε το φαινόμενο της πρωτονίωσης των μεμβρανών με το φωσφορικό οξύ. Η συσχέτιση του βαθμού εμποτισμού με τις σχετικές εντάσεις συγκεκριμένων κορυφών (1589 cm-1 και 1632 cm-1 για το TPS και 1593 cm-1 και 1570 cm-1 για τα μίγματα SFSX-PBIY) δίνει την δυνατότητα υπολογισμού των μορίων φωσφορικού οξέος που απαιτούνται για να πρωτονιώσουν έναν πυριδινικό δακτύλιο στην πρώτη περίπτωση και δυο ιμιδαζολικούς δακτυλίους στην δεύτερη. Το δεύτερο μέρος της μελέτης αφορούσε την εξέταση του φαινομένου αποβολής του εμποτίζοντος μέσου από την μεμβράνη, γεγονός που αποτελεί το κυριότερο πρόβλημα μη εμπορικής διαθεσιμότητας κυψελίδων καυσίμου αγωγής πρωτονίων μέσω ηλεκτρολυτικής πολυμερικής μεμβράνης υψηλών θερμοκρασιών. Μέσω φασματοσκοπίας FT-Raman παρακολουθούμε τη διαδικασία της πλήρους πρωτονίωσης των μεμβρανών που είναι προαπαιτούμενο για τον περαιτέρω εμποτισμό τους. Στη συνέχεια ακολουθεί η διαδικασία σταθεροποίησης τους υπό θέρμανση και υπό θέρμανση και πίεση ταυτόχρονα σε διαφορετικές θερμοκρασίες, που μας επιτρέπει να υπολογίσουμε τα μόρια του εμποτίζοντος μέσου που συγκρατεί τελικά η μεμβράνη και την ποιοτική τους κατάσταση στο τέλος της διαδικασίας. / Proton exchange membrane fuel cells (PEMFCs) have gained international attention as candidates for alternative automobile and stationary power sources. The electrolyte is a polymeric membrane. Poly(benzimidazole), PBI, has been widely studied with various strong acids and bases as a promising electrolyte for high temperature PEM fuel cells but it seems that the doping agent is leaching out with time, something that causes problems in their operation. For these reasons have been developed novel polymeric membranes that can be used as electrolytes at HT-PEMFCs. Two promising membranes are the ADVENT TPS® that contains pyridine units and alternative PBI polymer blends with partially fluorinated polyether ionomer (SFS). In this work our efforts were primarily concentrated to the examination via FT-IR and FT-Raman of the structural characteristics of the membranes and via the four probe interruption method to the examination of their electrochemical properties. The emphasis was given to the correlation of the spectroscopic evidence of acid interactions with the doping level attained and the ionic conductivity obtained. Then, we were concentrated to the examination via FT-Raman of the leaching out of the doping agent from the membranes that were protonated /doped by high concentrated phosphoric acid in different doping levels and in different temperatures. The influence of the doping temperature and the effect of the heating, under pressure or without, to the decisive leaching out of an acid-doped PBI membrane were investigated. Both novel membranes seem to bond phosphoric acid better than PBI.

This dissertation argues for the hope that is found in G. C. Berkouwer’s doctrines of providence and bodily resurrection in relation to the terrorist attack on September 11, 2001, and the rising pervasiveness of the doctrine of hyperpreterism among American Reformed circles. In Part I of the dissertation, Berkouwer’s doctrine of providence is explained and then evaluated and applied. By way of explanation and exposition, Berkouwer’s knowledge of providence is examined, along with his theology of providence in sustenance and government, in relation to miracles, and the dilemma of the existence of God and evil. Following that is an evaluation and application of the doctrine to the 9/11 terrorist attack on America. In Part II, a theological/doctrinal study is undertaken concerning the doctrine of resurrection. Hyper-preterism is examined, along with its leading proponents, and placed into interaction with Berkouwer’s views of the doctrine of the physical resurrection of the body at the eschaton. / Theology / M.Th. Die doel van die verhandeling is om pluraliteit binne die Sewendedag-Adventistekerk aan te toon. Die konsep "pluraliteit" word gebruik om verskille en groepvorming aan te toon, terwyl die konsep "pluralisme" verwys na 'n ideologiese standpunt ten opsigte van pluraliteit. Verskille en groepvorming is kenmerkend van die Milleriete of Adventbeweging waaruit die Sewendedag-Adventistekerk ontwikkel het. Die oortuiging dat die Sewendedag-Adventistekerk die "oorblyfselkerk" is, lei daartoe dat Adventiste eksklusief aanspraak maak op die "waarheid". Gevolglik staan die "oorblyfselteologie" voor die uitdaging om verskille en groepvorming sinvol te verdiskonteer. Daar is tans polarisasie rondom verskillende sake. Sewendedag-Adventiste sal dit voordelig vind om dialoog te voer oor die moontlikhede wat 'n prakties-teologiese benadering bied in die hantering van pluraliteit. Teorievorming wat die empiriese werklikhede verdiskonteer sal bydra tot die ontwikkeling van 'n teologie wat kennis neem van die mens se behoeftes binne sy leefwêreld. Die benaderings van Van der Ven en Tracy word bespreek. / The aim of the dissertation is to create awareness regarding plurality within the Seventh-day Adventist Church. The concept "plurality" refers to differences and group forming, while "pluralism" refers to an ideological view regarding plurality. Differences and disputes were very much part of the Millerites or Advent movement out of which the Seventh-day Adventist Church developed. The conviction that the Seventh-day Adventist Church is God's remnant church leads to the exclusive "truth" claim of Adventists. Consequently, the remnant theology is facing the challenge to deal with differences and group forming in a constructive manner. Presently there is polarization within the church on various issues. Seventh-day Adventists will find it beneficial to dialogue about the opportunities that a practical-theological approach offers in dealing with plurality. Theory that accounts for empirical realities will contribute to the development of a theology that will be aware of the needs of people. Die Thematik beschränkt sich auf das Ende, wie auf den Anfang des Kirchenjahres, genauer gesagt auf den 2. Advent. Das Thema der Parusie Jesu ist nicht unbedingt ein Hauptthema in der Predigtarbeit. Aber die Parusie Jesu ist das Hauptziel des Glaubens der Christen. Durch diese Arbeit soll der Predigtarbeit, sowie dem Thema der Parusie Jesu mehr Beachtung geschenkt werden. In dieser Arbeit wird die DDR Sozial- und Kirchengeschichte mit den Kurzbiographien der Prediger vorgestellt. Diese sind zum Teil Hintergrundinformation für die Predigtanalysen. Die Arbeit widmet sich einer Predigtanalyse zum biblischen Hintergrund und zum historischen Hintergrund der DDR, um den Stellenwert der Parusie Jesu in den Predigten zu erforschen. This thesis is designed to outline the systematic-theological and theological-historical basis for the Eschatological Gospel of Both Comings of Jesus Christ (Yeshua Ha Mashiach). This cohesively combines Jesus‘ First Coming (for redemption, reconciliation and restoration) with His Second Coming (for the Rapture/Resurrection of the Church/Body of Christ and judgment at the Day of the Lord/Yahweh) into the complete salvation of the Church. The historical writings of the Patristic, Ante- and Post-Nicene Fathers are examined to ensure the continuity of this Eschatological Gospel message being communicated through their writings to the Early Church. The remainder of Church history is examined to ensure the Eschatological Gospel continued to be communicated by the Church as a part of the Great Commission in Matthew 28:18-20. Then, in keeping with the eschatological prophetic intent of the Parable of the Wheat and Tares (Weeds) in Matthew 13:24-30, 36-43, of both the kingdom of God and the kingdom of Satan coexisting and growing until ―the end of the age,‖ the antithesis of the Eschatological Gospel is examined—Satan‘s plan of lies, deception and heresy throughout history, culminating with the explosion of activity since 1948. This satanic plan is described as being not only insidiously deceptive by recruiting converts to the kingdom of darkness in rebellion and opposition to the kingdom of God, but also as preparing the way for the End-time/Last Days‘ ten-nation confederacy to be led by the antichrist. Biblical chronology is used to trace the history of both the kingdom of God and the kingdom of darkness to the present day. Finally, the ―Signs of the Times‖ in modern history are examined, thereby showing the need for the Eschatological Gospel to be taught in the twenty-first century, especially as the day of the Lord Jesus Christ‘s Parousia rapidly approaches. / Systematic Theology and Theological Ethics / D.Th.
