The Red Scare of the late 1940s and 1950s was fueled by claims of governmental espionage from former members of the communist underground. Harry Dexter White, Assistant Secretary of the Treasury was accused of being a Soviet agent of influence. This paper will analyze the current issues in the discussion of Soviet espionage and focus on White's activities in this regard. The evidence on White is clear enough to show that he did pass sensitive information to the Soviets. He also succeeded in subverting American policy to favor Soviet interests over U.S. interests. White's activities in government service suggest that American government officials passed on vital government information to the Soviet Union and subversive activity went on in the U.S. in the 1930s and 1940s.

Abstract Taiwan is a potential area for selling super sport cars. In 2008, the year of financial crisis, the volume of sales in Taiwan is not only didn¡¦t descend but also rose 20~30%, even present multiple growth. It shows that the purchasing power of Taiwanese rich is astonishing, besides it can also be attributed to many brands which establish sole agent in Taiwan for the last few years, the sale and the after-sales service would be a guarantee to Taiwanese customers, so that it attract many potential consumers appear and purchase. This research focus on comparing the differences of sales strategy of the two super sport cars brands- Ferrari and Bentley in Taiwan. The product price of these two brands is over NT ten millions dollars, but their brand images are different, so their target market and sale strategies are different, either. The goal of this research is that comparing the target markets and sale combination to know these two brands how to operate and plan their sale strategy. The research analysis shows that their sales strategies are similar (especially pricing strategy, channel strategy), except for the promotion strategies, that is because of their different brand images. Title: The issue of musicality in gymnastics programs at UK FTVS Objectives: Qualify changes in the level of musicality on students due to the intervention program of subjects Rhythmic gymnastics, Gymnastics I - Dance and Adapted movement and dance pedagogy at UK FTVS and present results of testing. Methods: In my thesis I mostly used analytic and synthetic method based on consolidation of data from written and video sources and their organization in content of my thesis and context of time period. The thesis also used an experimental method associated with data collection and their evaluation. The practical part is conceived as testing. Results: Description of the musicality test results. The objective of this study was to analyze correlation of somatic cell count in milk of buffaloes to its composition and yield of curd cheese produced in Autazes, AM. Seventy-three samples of buffalo milk were collected and analyzed for composition and somatic cell count. For determining milk composition it was used spectroscopy analysis associated with flow cytometry procedures. The animals were sorted in two groups, one with SCC below 400.000 cell mL-1 and another with SCC above 400.000 cell mL-1. The curd cheese was produced by using milk from animals of two different groups and yields were calculated on percent weigh basis. The somatic cell count showed positive correlation with fat and negative correlation with lactose present in milk. The yield of curd cheese produced from buffalo milk containing SCC above 400.000 cell mL-1 was 1.08% lower than cheese produced with buffalo milk containing SCC below 400.000 cell mL-1. / A contagem de células somáticas (CCS) no leite é um parâmetro para avaliar a qualidade, pois está relacionada com a composição, rendimento industrial e segurança alimentar da matériaprima dos derivados do leite. O objetivo do presente trabalho foi analisar a correlação da quantidade de células somáticas presentes no leite de búfalas com a composição centesimal e o rendimento de queijo coalho produzido no município de Autazes-AM. As amostras de leite foram coletadas de 73 búfalas. A composição e contagem de células somáticas do leite foram analisadas utilizando equipamentos eletrônicos. Em função da CCS os animais foram divididos em dois grupos, um com CCS inferior de 400.000 células mL-1 e outro com CCS superior a 400.000 células mL-1, de leite para produção dos queijos de coalho e calculado o rendimento de produção. A contagem de células somáticas apresentou correlação significativa positiva com o teor de gordura e significativa negativa com a concentração de lactose no leite. Os queijos de coalho produzidos com leite bubalino contendo CCS acima de 400.000 células mL-1 apresentaram rendimento 1,08% inferior ao de queijos produzidos com leite bubalino contendo CCS abaixo de 400.000 células mL-1.

In this essay, I examine the correlation between time and politics in Martin Hägglunds philosophical project. By examining the view of time and politics in the works of the theologian David Bentley Hart, I establish a discussion that exposes different metaphysical standings and raises new questions. I conduct this examination in the light of the ongoing discussion about theology and political emancipation in the field of political theology. One of the main conclusions of the essay is that an important division appear between an ontological and a Christian eschatological concept about the relationship between time and eternity. I also conclude that the belief in a transcendental sphere that intervene in history can bring forth different types of political implications, which all tend to lean towards a concept about this world as a second to last. Throughout this essay, I deepen my discussion concerning the supposed emancipatory or totalizing political consequences of this cosmology, which, in this essay, is represented mainly by Hägglund and Hart.

I dagens byggprocess läggs enormt mycket tid och resurser på hantering av pappersritningar och andra utskrivna dokument som är nödvändiga för att produktion och förvaltning ska fungera. Vid stora projekt kan det handla om tusentals olika ritningar och dokument som ska hanteras och dokumenteras vilket kan vara oerhört omständligt, inte minst när revideringar måste utföras. När ett BIM-projekt utförs idag så tappas en hel del av den information som modellen innehåller till följd av att det ska skrivas ut på en pappersritning, vilket i sin tur gör att mycket av informationen inte kommer till sin rätt. I dagsläget finns ett flertal programvaror med syftet att hantera BIM-modeller och andra dokument rent digitalt i datorn eller i surfplattan. Här har man kommit en bra bit på vägen mot ett ritningsfritt projekt men det finns mycket kvar att arbeta vidare med. Sweco Architects och NCC påbörjade under 2012 ett projekt vid namn ”Det ritningsfria projektet” som till en början delvis gått ut på att kartlägga vilka problem som kan uppkomma vid övergången till ett ritningsfritt projekt. Utifrån författarnas egna funderingar och dessa frågeställningar har examensarbetet formats. Med detta examensarbete vill författarna belysa att det i dagsläget finns ett flertal olika verktyg för hantering av BIM-modeller i byggprocessens olika led även om de inte är fullt utvecklade ännu. Genom att själva testa programmen utifrån given frågeställning kan svagheterna och styrkorna med programvaran kartläggas. Detta är viktigt för att vidare utveckling av programmen och de nya arbetssätt som dessa medför ska kunna ske. Förhoppningsvis leder examensarbetet till vidare arbete mot ett ritningsfritt projekt. / In the building process today, an enormous amount of time and resources are sacrificed to the management of paper drawings and other printed documents, which are all necessary for the production- and management-phases to work. In large projects this could mean thousands of drawings and documents that have to be managed and documented. This can be extremely tedious, especially when revisions need to be made. When BIM-projects are being performed today a lot of the information that the model contains are lost just because it has to be printed as a paper drawing. This makes it redundant to fill the model with that much information in the first place. As of today there are several software programs whose purpose are to handle BIM-models and other documents entirely digitally on the computer or on a tablet device. These software programs have contributed a lot to the movement towards the drawing free project, but there is still a long way to go. In 2012 Sweco Architects and NCC began a project named “Det ritningsfria projektet” which initially passed on to identify the problems faced in the transition to a drawing free project. Based on the author’s own thoughts and these identified problems the thesis has been formed. With this thesis the authors want to highlight that there are a number of tools for managing BIM-models today in the various stages of the building process, even though they all need further development. By testing the software available today based on the given issues the weaknesses and strengths can be highlighted and mapped. This is very important for further work with the software and the new work procedure that the software provides. Hopefully the thesis will lead to further work towards a drawing free project.
