The thesis in form of study discusses the possibilities of modernization of road I/11 in section between Opava and Bruntál. The need of modernization comes from fact that the road I/11 will remain in mid-term and long-term in its actual tracing and it needs to be adjusted to up-to-date requirements on road network. The thesis is based on safety inspection of road I/11 that was carried out by company Enviroad s.r.o. Proposed adjustments are divided into three stages depending on structural, economic and administrative demands. First stage introduces the least difficult adjustments that can be realized in short-term (e.g. chicanes, traffic islands, shortening of pedestrian crossings, adjustments to bus stops) and aims primary to increase road safety. Second stage presents more severe adjustments that requires greater amount of construction works but still reasonable administration level so it can be achieved in mid-term (e.g. intersection realignment, slow traffic lanes). The third stage introduces the most complex adjustments, that involves complicated administrative and construction works (all relocations of greater scale, design is based upon territorial reserves).

The purpose of the thesis is to design new bus terminal and suggest reconstruction of a road in the street Nadrážní in town Broumov. Thesis deals with the appropriate design of arrangement of bus stops. Part of the thesis is design of reasonable width arrangement of the road in the street Nádražní. Furthermore there is a design of parking spaces for personal vehicles, design of communications for pedestrians and suggestion for appropriate usage of remaining areas.

This work aims to create transport–urbanism study which will lead to the improvement of attractivity of the whole region, whether for permanent or migrant populations, converts the traffic so that the least interfere with visitors of the city center while retaining its good accessibility, supports the development of pedestrian and cycling routes in context of the surrounding area. Traffic-urban solution will work with the master plan of Ostrava city and also take into account results of performed architectural and urban design competitions of a city in the area of interest. Emphasis will be placed on an economically resonable solution with connection to the future development of the site, construction phasing and quick implementation.

Seit der Liberalisierung im Jahr 2013 wächst die Anzahl der Fernbusfahrgäste immer weiter an. Durch ein vielfältiges Streckenangebot und günstige Ticketpreise erfreut sich der Fernbus immer größerer Beliebtheit und ist zu einer guten und umweltfreundlichen Alternative für Fernreisen geworden. Allerdings kann die Reisezeit bei den Angeboten der Konkurrenten wenig mithalten, was vor allem an der Lage der Haltestellen liegt. In dieser Arbeit wird mittels auswahlbasierter Conjoint-Analyse die Kundensicht zu Haltestellen in der Stadt und Hal-testellen in Routennähe untersucht. Dabei nehmen vor allem Reisezeit und Reisekosten Einfluss auf die Entscheidung. Sozioökonomische Merkmale von Kunden spielen nur eine untergeordnete Rolle. The concept of offering a large variety in routes as well as attractive pricing, helps intercity buses to a great popularity. Moreover, this option of traveling impresses with its eco-friendliness. Due to the location of the bus stops, the traveling time in intercity busses cannot keep up with the one of comparable competitors. Within this thesis, a selective conjoint analysis is conducted. The goal is to gain an insight on the option of potential customers towards bus stops within the city compared to their view of bus stops close to the traveling route. The decision is primarily based on travel costs and travel time whereas socioeconomic factors are only considered briefly. Uppsatsen syfte är att undersöka tillgänglighet vid busshållplatser i Västerås kommun och se om prioritering av tillgänglighet skiljer sig åt mellan stad och landsbygd. Arbetets utgångspunkt är att titta på huruvida Västerås kommun förhåller sig till de nuvarande riktlinjer för en tillgänglig busstrafik som Region Västmanland tagit fram. Studien fokuserar sig främst på fysiska funktionsnedsättningar och bygger på kvantitativa datainsamlings-metoder. För att kunna besvara arbetets syfte och frågeställningar, så tog vi hjälp av insamlad tidigare forskning, empiri och förhållning till Region Västmanlands riktlinjer. Resultatet vart att Västerås kommun prioriterar tillgänglighet i högsta grad i tätorten, medans det råder stora brister på landsbygdstrafiken. / The intention of this essay is to investigate accessibility at bus stops in Västerås municipality and to see whether priority of accessibility differs between the city and countryside. The main point of this study is to see whether Västerås municipality relates to the current guidelines for an accessible bus traffic, as the Region of Västmanland has developed. This study focuses mainly on physical disabilities and is based on quantitative methods. To answer the purpose and questions, we took help from previously collected research, empiricism and relation to Region Västmanland guidelines. The result was that Västerås municipality prioritize accessibility mainly in the city, meanwhile there are major shortcomings in rural traffic.

My master‘s thesis is concerned with study of location of tram stop, part od North - South Railway Line Diameter, which is supposed to be in underground level below Konečného square, important transfer junction. According to this location find out the best place to situate pedestrian exits and elevators in nearby streets Nerudova, Kotlářská and Veveří. After building up the station, pedestrian transfers will be safer and time to get into the centre of Brno/ job for commuter people will be shortened. This master thesis also deals with enlargement of tram islands, repositioning of trolleybus stop from Kotlářská street, movement of pedestrians in area and optimization of traffic lines.
