Hledání a vytváření relací mezi sloupci v CSV souborech s využitím Linked Dat / Discovering and Creating Relations among CSV Columns Using Linked Data Knowledge Bases

Brodec, Václav January 2019 (has links)
A large amount of data produced by governmental organizations is accessible in the form of tables encoded as CSV files. Semantic table interpretation (STI) strives to transform them into linked data in order to make them more useful. As significant portion of the tabular data is of statistical nature, and therefore comprises predominantly of numeric values, it is paramount to possess effective means for interpreting relations between the entities and their numeric properties as captured in the tables. As the current general-purpose STI tools infer the annotations of the columns almost exclusively from numeric objects of RDF triples already present in the linked data knowledge bases, they are unable to handle unknown input values. This leaves them with weak evidence for their suggestions. On the other hand, known techniques focusing on the numeric values also have their downsides. Either their background knowledge representation is built in a top-down manner from general knowledge bases, which do not reflect the domain of input and in turn do not contain the values in a recognizable form. Or they do not make use of context provided by the general STI tools. This causes them to mismatch annotations of columns consisting from similar values, but of entirely different meaning. This thesis addresses the...

CSR and CSV: The Managerial Interpretation of a Blurry Line

Akundwe, Regis, Salahagic, Vernesa January 2018 (has links)
From the moment the concept of Creating Shared Value (CSV) was introduced in 2011, it was by some considered to be an evolutionary way of contributing to society whereas for others it initiated an ongoing critical debate. This debate that is taking place on the academic scene has, among other things, focused on defining what CSV really is and differentiating it from Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR). This is mainly because the critical side believes that CSV is unoriginal and strikingly similar to CSR. Interestingly, in practice companies are implementing CSV in many different ways and some are adding it to their CSR strategy. The fact that these two concepts are closely related has led to a blurry line, which in return has caused disagreements in the mentioned debate. Given the above, we aim at understanding how managers interpret and implement CSV in comparison to CSR and what the differences between these two concepts are in practice. Data was collected by employing case studies which entailed semi-structured interviews with company informants. The findings indicated that managers interpret CSV as a way of contributing to society as well as the firm’s business simultaneously, and thus the implementation of the concept is highly industry-specific. CSR on the other hand, was mostly interpreted as a way of conforming to external pressures and is therefore implemented in relatively similar ways across the companies interviewed. In contrast to academia, it was indicated that managers are more interested in infusing the above two concepts than separating and differentiating them.

Srovnání pojetí CSR koncepce ve skupině ABB Group a společnosti ABB ČR / Comparing the conceptions of CSR in ABB Group and ABB CR company

Musilová, Lenka January 2011 (has links)
This thesis deals with CSR conceptions of ABB Group and ABB ČR, compraing both conceptions. Its aim is to prove these two hypotheses: "ABB ČR applies glocal attitude to CSR" and "In ABB ČR, creating CSV is not an element of its CSR conception, whereas within ABB Group, CSV is already being implemented." In order to prove these hypotheses, this thesis presents the theory of CSR and CSV to its reader. As for the CSV, this thesis offers a relatively broad theoretical framework, supplemented by up to date critique of the conception and my personal evaluation of the relation of CSR with CSV. In the practical part of the thesis, particular instruments of both (ABB Group and ABB ČR) CSR conceptions are analysed with the aim to prove both aforementioned hypotheses. After a comparison of both instruments, the first hypothesis is confirmed. In order to verify the second hypothesis the method of synthesis is employed to establish a strcture of CSV and to enable a final comparison, which, however, disproves the second hypothesis.

Creating shared value through the mediating role of CSR

Hamzaoui, Ahmed Amine, Tsegay, Meron Negasi January 2020 (has links)
Background: The automotive industry is more often subject to pressure and scrutiny from consumers, environmental organizations, as well as state regulators. Therefore, this industry is making major investments in implementing a robust CSR strategy in order to tackle these ramifications. The discussion among academia asserts that CSR does not always contribute to creating value, and this leads to the assumption that the implementation of CSR may be detrimental for some companies. Thus, it is questionable whether companies can create shared value through the mediating role of CSR. Considering the automotive industry as among the largest and most criticized industries from a CSR point of view, it was worth to investigate the topic of creating shared value through the mediating role of CSR under this context. Purpose: The overall purpose of this thesis is to broaden and deepen the knowledge about how companies can create shared value through the mediating role of CSR in the automotive industry. Method: In order to attain the research purpose, we conducted a qualitative content analysis, used an inductive approach, and collected the primary data through semi-structured interviews. A total of eight interviews were held with participants, and the respondents were representing car dealerships and automobile manufacturers. Conclusion: Throughout the analysis, we have identified eight dimensions that impact shared value creation for the companies. These dimensions are CSR initiatives, employee relations, consumer relations, supply chain collaboration, local businesses partnership, the potential of local cluster, government regulatory compliance, and barriers to CSR. We have therefore developed a framework to orientate managers on how to tailor a CSR strategy that takes into consideration the aforementioned dimensions, and eventually create shared value.

Användargränssnitt för systematiskt experimenterandeCoordination_oru

Alkeswani, Maria January 2023 (has links)

Social hållbarhet inom fastighetsbranschen : En studie om hur privata bostadsbolag arbetar med social hållbarhet / Social sustainability in the real estate industry : A study of how private housing companies work with social sustainability

Johansson, Julia, Emini, Klodina January 2022 (has links)
Studien representerar fyra olika bostadsbolag i Malmö.

Bernau, Maja, Olsson, Tobias January 2014 (has links)
The goal of this project was to streamline and automate a business system. This was achieved through the implementation of four subtasks. This report describes what parts of the system that needed to be updated and why. It also describes how the development was carried out and what results the project ultimately led to.   The project's tasks were to: Create a report generator designed to generate Excel documents. Develop a symbol generator where a user, through a web-based interface, could generate symbols. The symbols could then be used in the company's mobile application. Create an interface for a web service, and to develop an add-in for the modeling software Revit Architecture 2014. / Målet med detta projekt var att effektivisera och automatisera ett företagssystem.
