Les recherches menées ont pour objectif de dresser un bilan, le plus exhaustif possible, sur la céramique gallo-romaine de la partie occidentale de la province de Lyonnaise définie par les territoires des civitates des Vénètes, des Coriosolites, des Osismes et des Riédons. Cette synthèse régionale à d'abord consisté en l'élaboration d'un catalogue de formes, puis d'une approche typo-chronologique. Ce premier corpus est constitué de 792 formes qui se répartissent en 20 grandes catégories techniques et fonctionnelles. Un système de classement ouvert a été employé afin de pouvoir être complété en fonction des nouvelles découvertes. L'analyse de 34 assemblages de céramique issus de 21 sites a permis de définir huit horizons chronologiques couvrant la période de la seconde moitié du Ier s. av. J.-C. jusqu'aux premières décennies du IVe s. ap. J.-C. Ces horizons offrent un premier aperçu de l'évolution des céramiques consommées et des stratégies d'approvisionnement au cours de cette période. / The research aim to take stock, as exhaustive as possible, on the Gallo-Roman ceramic of the western part of Lyonnaise province defined by the territories of the civitates of the Veneti, of Coriosolite, of Osismii and Redones. This regional summary presents the development of a catalogue of forms and a typo chronological approach. This first corpus is composed of 792 forms divided into 20 major technical and functional categories. An open ranking system was used in order to make additions according to new discoveries. The analysis of 34 pottery assemblages from 21 sites defined eight horizons from the second half of the 1st century BC until the first decades of the 4th century AD. They offer a first look of the evolution of consumed ceramics and supplying strategies during this period.

Un tel habitat intelligent améliorera ou lui redonnera son autonomie et l’aidera à réaliser ses activités, voire interviendra pour éviter des situations à risque. Le développement d’habitat intelligent amène de nouveaux défis en matière de sécurité, de fiabilité et de sûreté du patient. Il nécessite que les questions de sécurité, de fiabilité et de sûreté soient prises en compte dès le départ par les développeurs d’applications du domaine des habitats intelligents. Malheureusement, ces développeurs ne sont pas experts en sécurité, en fiabilité ou et en sûreté. Ces aspects sont souvent remis à plus tard, ce qui aboutit généralement à des applications fonctionnelles, mais peu sécuritaires. Les déficits cognitifs imposent aussi des contraintes supplémentaires ou nouvelles en ce qui a trait à la sécurité, la fiabilité et la sûreté. Dans ce contexte, cette thèse propose de répondre aux problèmes de sécurité, de fiabilité et de sûreté des patients souffrant de troubles cognitifs lors de leur séjour dans un habitat intelligent. Pour cela, un catalogue de patrons de sécurité, de fiabilité et de sûreté est créé pour fournir un outil aux développeurs d’application de ce domaine. Dans un premier temps, une liste de besoins de sécurité, de fiabilité et de sûreté est identifiée à partir de scénarios illustrant la vie du patient et ses interactions avec les intervenants du service de santé, sa famille et son nouvel environnement. Ensuite les solutions identifiées sont encapsulées sous forme de patrons et regroupées dans un catalogue mis à la disposition des développeurs. Les patrons de ce catalogue sont alors utilisés pour répondre aux besoins initialement formulés soient isolément, soient en combinaison avec d’autres patrons. La discussion finale permettra d’éclairer les avantages et limites de cette approche, et présentera des pistes à suivre pour étendre le catalogue de patrons.

A study of packing constructs a critique of the everyday: a dialogue between chaos and order, surface and area, interior and exterior, gravity and lightness. In search of tangible expression of the spatial processes I am responsible for, I have become both master architect and expert packer. I have composed this thesis the same way I pack: I have assembled piles of fragments, regrouped them, reconsidered, edited, alloted them more or less space. Things have become more and less valuable. Quotes and images are precious, like artifacts, tucked delicately between text-filled pages. Each word I write, each line I draw, creates a boundary, a parcel, a unit of space set apart from the white of the page. This book is my suitcase.

A museum catalog is a legible, interpretable information system that acts as a rhetorical exposition of the museum’s collection and work. The unity of a collection is of course distinct from that represented in a catalog, and still further from the reader’s experience of it. But the information that comprises such an assemblage of individual records or representations, consistent metadata, support the ability to “read” collections as finite, enclosed, or complete. Here I perform a close reading of the elements and relationships that underpin the Walker Art Center’s online Permanent Collection catalog, an emergent publication funded by The Getty Foundation’s Online Scholarly Catalog Initiative (OSCI). I incorporate multiple layers of interpretation into my reading of the structure and contents of the museum website, drawing on concepts developed in information science and textual studies by Bonnie Mak and Johanna Drucker. My performance of reading of the new catalog helps me begin to address how collectively, online representation in virtual frames, contextualization within a website, searching, and browsing support divergent interpretations of a collection catalogue as a text. I conclude that to engage a catalog at a scholarly level, and to interpret and synthesize meaning of the catalog as a text, the museum must situate its self-representation spatially and temporally. / text

Während Wissenschaft, Literatur, Bildung und Lehren den intellektuellen Kosmos repräsentierten und die Buchproduktion den materiellen und kommerziellen Pol konstituierte, übernahmen die Kataloge und Bibliographien die Aufgabe, kognitive Instrumente für beide Realitäten anzubieten, Karten des Zugangs, der Erforschung und des Nachweises zur Verfügung zu stellen. Es kam zur Herausbildung von drei Realitäten, deren jede sich in einem eigenen System verkörperte und zugleich mit den anderen in Korrespondenz stand: Weil jede von ihnen auf der Ebene der schriftlichen Kommunikation, des wissenschaftlichen Fortschritts und des Buchhandels notwendigerweise die jeweils anderen implizierten. In der Folge kam es dazu, dass zwischen den drei Systemen begriffliche und andere Isomorphismen zur Geltung kamen, sowohl im Reich der Literatur als auch in dem der Kultur und der Systematik.

In this thesis we construct a B-band catalogue of the local universe which we call the Millennium Galaxy Catalogue (MGC). The MGC is photometrically and astrometrically accurate to +/-0.03 mags and +/-0.08" respectively and covers an area of~ 36 sq deg in the NGP. Colour and redshift information are available from overlapping regions of the two-degree Field Galaxy Redshift Survey (2dFGRS) and the Sloan Digital Sky Survey Early Data Release (SDSS-EDR). With an exposure time of 750s and an isophotal surface brightness limit of 26 mags/sq arcsecs, the MGC is the largest and deepest photometric survey of the local universe to-date. As well as containing photometric information, by making use of a newly developed software package-Galaxy Image 2D (GIM2D), and assuming a standard de Vaucouleurs and exponential galaxy profile, the MGC also contains structural parameters (half light radius and (B/T) etc) to all galaxies in the magnitude range 16 < BMGC < 20. By making use of the information in the MGC we are able to classify our galaxies into three morphological types (E/SO, Sabc and Sd/Irr) using (B/T) cuts. In doing this we find that 30.52% of the galaxies form a "new" galaxy population identified by having a (B/T) of exactly 0. After visual inspection this population is found to be a mixture of early and late type star-forming Spirals and Irregular galaxies, all of which have a disk component that is flatter than an exponential. After visually redistributing these galaxies we find that the local galaxy population consists of 28.1% E/SO, 39.64% Sabc and 31.37% Sd/Irr. From the redshift information contained within the MGC we are able to look at the galaxy distribution in terms of physical parameters. We find that the galaxies are distributed in absolute magnitude, surface brightness and half light radii in a manner that is consistent with the hierarchical formation scenario. We derive total and morphological galaxy number counts and, after combining them via a step wise maximum likelihood (SWML) technique, we arrive at morphological LFs. From examining the galaxy counts we find that there is no steep rise in the bright end, eradicating the need for strong local evolution. Also one does not need to renormalise the morphological or total galaxy counts in order for them to be consistent with faitner counts. The Sabc and Sd/Irr LFs are surprisingly similar with both showing a mild faint end slope. We look at the properties of bulges and disks of galaxies. We find that as galaxies become more diskey there bulges move away from the Kormendy law for Elliptical galaxies. Due to the similarity of the Spiral and Irregular population LFs, as well as apparent and intrinsic parameter distributions, we are forced to conclude that one can only reliably distinguish between the Ellipticals and the general galaxy population, and that investigating the bulge and disk components of a galaxy may be more useful than Hubble types.

This diploma thesis deals with usage of bayesian filtres. Bayesian filters are used especially as defensive mechanism in fight with unsolicited emails. The main aim is to try whether these filters may operate not only with emails but also on behalf of web pages distinction. The introductory part provides basic information about fight against unsolicited emails. Above all is mentioned bayesian fighting method that is more detailed developed with simple example. The second fundamental half is focusing on attempt where are experimentally analyzed possibilities of web pages distinction with the aid of bayesian filter into legitimate and spam pages. Furthermore it handles with possibility web pages sorting into several categories more than only into legitimate and spam. Both experiments are described in detail and it includes descriptions of all used tools.
