A presente pesquisa tem como objetivo tratar das relações de poder na prática das intervenções visuais, a fim de colaborar para ampliar a compreensão e leitura das paisagens na cidade. As relações de poder foram apreendidas através da observação e vivência com interventores visuais da cidade de Porto Alegre a fim de descobrir como se dá a relação entre esses grupos, deles com a sociedade e de como a intervenção em si interfere, não só na paisagem estritamente, mas nas relações sociais do espaço da rua de maneira geral. Nesse sentido foi apresentado um recorte de paisagem que é a que sofre a intervenção, foram tratadas em seguida as relações de poder descobertas através de entrevistas e acompanhamento da área de estudo, que foi o bairro Cidade Baixa, para se chegar numa redescoberta da paisagem. Essa nova paisagem construída após uma perspectiva territorial mostra uma realidade menos generalizante e preconceituosa das intervenções. Assim, a pesquisa demonstra a partir das diferentes relações de poder que se estabelecem nessa prática que a intervenção é um mero instrumento e que se torna necessário numa cidade que consome cada vez mais com os espaços de livre expressão. Quand nous nous penchons sur la ville en tant que lieu d'expérimentations, il faut saisir son évolution tout au long des années, l'histoire de ses quartiers en tenant compte les caractéristiques de l'espace urbain ainsi que les conditions sociales et culturelles de ses habitants. Il est possible d’étudier la ville dans la diversité de ses emplois et de ses utilisateurs, bien comme étudier les conflits et négociations qui sont à l'origine de cette pluralité. Le noyau de notre recherche a été le conflit entre deux groupes d'utilisateurs, des habitants et des commerçants, du quartier Cidade Baixa à Porto Alegre – RS. Telle situation a déployé des efforts de la municipalité pour améliorer la convivialité entre eux, car mettre en accord leurs intérêts, tout à fait différents, posait des problèmes. When investigating the city as a place of experiences, it is required an appreciation of its evolution over time and stories of its neighborhoods’ both from the urban environment point of view as in the social and cultural conditions of the population who lives on it. The city can be studied in its diversity of usages and users, as well as in the conflict and negotiations’ coexistence resulting from this plurality. The research focuses was the conflict between two groups of users, residents and traders from the Cidade Baixa neighborhood in Porto Alegre – RS, which resulted in efforts from the municipal public power to improve the conviviality between them, due the difficulty of reconcile the distinct interests which overlap. The purpose was to indentify and comprehend the characteristics from the two users groups in the way which they assign value and meaning to neighborhood they make use from. Based on that, I discuss the perception of value from both groups when committed in the neighborhood Cidade Baixa. The goal was to identify and understand the relation between the composition of personal values and values from both groups of users in relation to the neighborhood’s characteristics. The concept used originates especially from areas of environment – behavior and marketing. The research made use of the concept of territory and its derivations. The investigation was divided in three big stages, the first one had the purpose of understand the Cidade Baixa neighborhood’s and users context, as well as perform the selection of the users groups to be analyzed; in the second stage, data about perception of neighborhood and individual values from both studied groups were collected and analyzed; in the last stage, data about value perception from the groups of users were collected and analyzed, applying the data from the previous stages in the discussion and analysis. The main research’s contributions are related to the understanding and comparison of perception of value from the users groups in the neighborhood’s scope, the comparison from different analysis techniques and collected data, as well as the conceptual contributions about the concept of perceived values in the territory context: the neighborhood.

Essa pesquisa abordou a relação da boemia com a cidade, mais especificamente com trechos dos bairros Centro Histórico e Cidade Baixa em Porto Alegre. Valendo-se de um ferramental teórico-metodológico que defende que a experiência de pesquisa do urbanista se dê pelo cruzamento de diferentes saberes e, além disso, que defende também a importância da ida a campo, exploramos a relação da boemia com a cidade sob dois grandes eixos: (a) através do processo de construção de lugares e (b) enxergando a própria boemia tanto como uma forma de vida pública da noite relacionada à diversão das pessoas, quanto também como um imaginário construído. A partir de fragmentos colhidos na pesquisa de campo foram construídas narrativas a partir das quais evidenciamos como: (a) o processo de construção de lugares é intimamente ligado a experiências-vivências de sujeitos e coletividades que resultam em memórias e afetos; além disso, mostramos como em paralelo existem também processos de subjetivação e de valorização, todos eles ligados a materialidade dos espaços urbanos; (b) como o termo/imaginário/ideia de boemia se renova por um conjunto de práticas contemporâneas, misturados com sobrevivências de outros tempos e lugares em que a ideia de boemia se constituiu. Por fim, abordamos também questões ligadas ao próprio fazer dessa pesquisa, buscando compartilhar aprendizados obtidos e na defesa de um conhecimento fragmentário como um importante caminho para um urbanismo em que a sensibilidade possa entrar no jogo de análise espacial. / This research approached the relation of boemia with the city, more specifically with sections of the districts Centro Histórico and Cidade Baixa in Porto Alegre. Using a theoretical-methodological tool that advocates that the urbanist's research experience must be based on the cross-fertilization of different knowledge and, in addition, that also defends the importance of field research, we explore the relationship between bohemia and the city under two major axes: (a) through the process of building places and (b) seeing the bohemia itself as both a public form of public life at night related to the amusement of people, and also as a constructed imaginary. From the fragments collected in the field research were constructed narratives from which we show: (a) how the process of building places is intimately linked to the experiences of subjects and collectivities that result in memories and affections; In addition, we show how in parallel there are also processes of subjectivation and valorization, all linked to the materiality of urban spaces; (b) how the term / imaginary / idea of bohemia is renewed by a set of contemporary practices, mixed with survivors of other times and places in which the idea of bohemia was constituted. Finally, we also address issues related to the proper conduct of this research, seeking to share acquired learning and defending a fragmentary knowledge as an important pathway to an urbanism in which sensitivity can enter the spatial analysis game.
