O objetivo consiste em problematizar as redes tecidas entre memória, cidades, tempo e história, perscrutando sua escrita política e seu papel na construção de múltiplas sensibilidades e subjetividades em torno do urbano, bem como seu exercício de apreensão, registro e testemunho do tempo. Nas tramas políticas da escrita, indago não apenas o recurso à memória e à história, nos diferentes e paralelos processos de rememoração que evoca, além do recolhimento de recursos materiais, simbólicos e afetivos para o processo criativo, mas também a trajetória do intelectual, pesquisador, escritor e jornalista que apresenta aguçada sensibilidade em relação à percepção do tempo e seus desdobramentos, além de nutrir grande interesse pela história em suas variadas possibilidades. Pautando-me por uma leitura histórica, recorto narrativas - nas quais a cidade e seus personagens constituem tema central - que figuram percursos, itinerários e viagens, sublinhando nos escritos a capacidade de enunciar complexos meandros entre razão e sentimentos, sensibilidades, desejos, medos, indiferenças e humilhações; multifacetadas dimensões da condição humana que dizem respeito a formas de experiênci... (Resumo completo, clicar acesso eletrônico abaixo) / Abstract: From the analysis of a documental corpus constituted by different narrative forms, such as tales, chronicles, romances, personals reports and travel diaries, I attempt to invest in a hybrid textual production - which takes place in the intersection of literary and journalistic fields - of Ignácio de Loyola Brandão. The aim is to problematize the networks among memory, cities, time and history, inquiring his political writing and his role in the construction of multiple sensibilities and subjectivities around the urban, as well as his exercise of apprehension, registration and testimony of time. In the political intrigues of writing, I inquire, not only the use of memory and history resources, in the different and parallel processes of remembrance that evokes, besides the gathering of material, symbolic and affective resources for the creative process. However, I inquire also the trajectory of the intellectual, researcher, writer and journalist that demonstrates a sharpened sensibility regarding to the perception of time and its unfoldings. Assim, resume revemente as formas como aquela experiência foi tratada pela historiografia, seja nas análises mais genéricas sobre o período colonial brasileiro ou nos estudos voltados para o caso de São Paulo. Em seguida,aborda documentos administrativos para traça um esboço das formas de organização e dos usos do espaço urbano de São Paulo, entre 1765 e 1822, para tentar indicar possíveis alterações decorrentes das políticas administrativas implementadas pela Coroa portuguesa durante e após a atuação do Marquês de Pombal. Para tanto, emprega o conceito de paisagem, aqui entendido como a representação social do espaço, e privilegia o ponto de vista dos administradores locais / Abstract: This dissertation has its basic purpose to analyze the urban experience in the city of São Paulo, between the second half of the eighteenth century and the beginning of nineteenth. In doing so, it briefly resume the ways historiography treated that experience, either in the most generic analysis on the brazilian colonial age or in specific treatises about São Paulo. After that, it approaches to administrative records to outline the ways of organization and using São Paulo's urban space between 1765 and 1822, as an attempt to indicate possible changes due to administrative policies implemented by the Portugues Crown during and after the acts of the Marquis of Pombal. Para tanto, toma Franco da Rocha, espaço exemplar de alocação do desvio. Através da análise da relação da cidade com o hospital psiquiátrico que a instituiu, o Hospital do Juqueri, o que se põe em visibilidade são os discursos que instalam a 'corporeidade¿ da cidade, ou seja, os discursos que fazem funcionar a contradição constitutiva que esse lugar inaugural funda e que se materializa nas formas de pertencimento e de inserção no espaço urbano. Buscamos a escuta das vozes que se materializam na cidade e que materializam o corpo da cidade: corpo fluido, sítio de significação, espaço de ancoração simbólica e cambiante dos sentidos que fundam modos de subjetivação, processos de identificação marcados por saberes e poderes que ditam aos sujeitos as ordens discursivas que determinam os processos possíveis de espacialização dos mesmos nos espaços urbanos.Trazer a espessura dos discursos que circulam na cidade constituída como espaço de alocação do desvio implica ainda em tomar as relações de litígio que aí se produzem, não apenas como efeito, mas como lugar de materialização da contradição constitutiva. O corpo da cidade, sua corporeidade, diz, então, da análise do corpo posto, do corpo exposto e do corpo que circula sentidos que se filiam aos seus movimentos fundantes / Abstract: The present work has as purpose the comprehension of the deviation in the process of constitutivity of a city. Therefore, it takes for analysis the city of Franco da Rocha as an example of allocation of deviation. Through the analysis of the relation of the city with the psychiatric hospital that instituted the referred city (the Hospital of the Juqueri) what is put in visibility are the speeches that institute the corporeity of the city, that is, the speeches that make the constituent contradiction function that this inaugural place founds and that materializes in the forms of belonging and of insertion in the urban space. We listened to the voices that materialized in the city and that materialize the body of Franco da Rocha: body fluid, place of signification, space of symbolic anchorage and changeable of the meanings that found modes of subjectivity, processes of identification marked by knowledge and power that dictate the discursive orders to the subjects that determine the possible processes of spacialization of themselves in the urban spaces. To bring the thickness of the discourses that circulate in the city constituted as a space of allocation of deviation implies also, into taking the litigious relations that are there produced, not only as effect, but as a place of materialization of constitutive contradiction.The body of the city, its corporeity, so it says then, analyzes of the body presented, the body exposed and the body that circulates meanings that affiliate in its founded movements / Doutorado / Linguistica / Doutor em Linguística

A intenção é acompanhar e analisar o olhar dos médicos pertencentes ao departamento de Higiene para as cidades paulistas. Para tanto, primeiramente, recuperamos aspectos do campo médico paulista no início do século XX, por meio de pesquisa bibliográfica. Analisamos também as mudanças na legislação estadual que deu origem à Faculdade de Medicina, bem como a trajetória da Fundação Rockefeller, pois levamos em consideração o fato de que a cadeira de Higiene possuía um laboratório anexo, o Instituto de Higiene. Tanto a cadeira como o Instituto de Higiene são frutos de um acordo entre a Faculdade de Medicina e a Fundação Rockfeller. Assim, buscamos enfatizar em nossa leitura que a cooperação entre essas duas instituições coaduna-se com a atuação internacional da Fundação Rockefeller. Para analisar especificamente a estrutura da disciplina de Higiene, utilizamos os relatórios dos professores responsáveis pela disciplina no Instituto, enviados à Fundação Rockefeller e também a inspeção sanitária realizada pelo médico Mário da Costa Galvão em Mogi das Cruzes para demonstrar que o olhar dos médicos voltava-se especialmente para os equipamentos sanitários das cidades / Abstract: This text dissertation analyzes the relationship between medicine and urban space in the present chair of Hygiene, Medical School, São Paulo, between 1918 and 1928. The intention is to observe and analyze the look of doctors belonging to the department of Hygiene for the cities of São Paulo. To do so, first, we recover aspects of the medical field São Paulo in the early twentieth century, through literature. We also analyzed changes in state law that gave rise to the Faculty of Medicine as well as the trajectory of the Rockefeller Foundation since we take into consideration the fact that the chair had a laboratory attached, the Institute of Hygiene. Both the chair and the Institute of Hygiene are the result of an agreement between the School of Medicine and the Rockefeller Foundation. So we try to emphasize in our reading that the cooperation between these two institutions is consistent with international operations of the Rockefeller Foundation. To specifically analyze the structure of the discipline of Hygiene, we use the reports of teachers responsible for discipline in the Institute sent to the Rockefeller Foundation and also the sanitary inspection performed by the doctor Mario Costa Galvão in Mogi das Cruzes to demonstrate that physicians look-back especially for sanitation of cities / Mestrado / Politica, Memoria e Cidade / Mestra em História
