O presente trabalho tem por objetivo o estudo crítico-teórico da comediografialatina pré-clássica e portuguesa humanista nas figuras de Plauto e Gil Vicente,considerando os aspectos relativos ao conceito de família, de casamento e de vidaprivada. Investigando as obras "" e "Comédia do Viúvo", realizamosAululariainicialmente um minucioso estudo da função e importância social destes conceitosnos contextos específicos da Roma Antiga, no período republicano, e de Portugal natransição da Idade Média para o Renascimento. Procedendo então a análises dasobras, à luz dos temas propostos, identificaremos como se expressam nodesenvolvimento temático no interior da encenação. A partir do conceito decomicidade e possíveis estratégias para sua obtenção fundamentadas em teóricoscomo Henri Bergson e Vladimir Propp, procuramos encontrar pontos deconvergência e divergência entre os tratamentos temáticos dos autores de modo aelucidar também a influência do modo de pensar social como elemento decisivo daexpressão literária. The subject of this work is analyses and interpretation of David Lodge´s campus novels. In the concrete, the diploma paper is focused on sources and elements of comicality, especially humour, satire and parody, in Lodge´s free trilogy Changing Places, Small World and Nice Work. The starting point of this diploma paper is characterisation of the genre of the campus novel, with the inclusion of the social situation in the period of the genesis of this genre, and the short outline of its representatives, with emphasis on the novel of Kingsley Amis Lucky Jim. In the following the work considers the ways of the realisation of comicality in the text and from this basis the practical part derives. The main aim is to point out the ways of usage of comic in Lodge´s campus novels and this purpose is achieved in the analysis of the particular texts.

Entender a multiplicação das faces e funções do humor na prosa de Antônio Lobo Antunes é o objetivo desta tese. Frente à vasta obra, o foco da análise foi dirigido para a Trilogia sobre o poder. Agrupados pela temática e sem prejuízo da feição individual de cada romance, o trio, O Manual dos Inquisidores, O Esplendor de Portugal e Exortação aos Crocodilos, tece painel sobre a violência e o medo que se instauraram em Portugal e suas colônias de África no período pré e pós- Revolução dos Cravos com enredos aparentemente incompatíveis com o processo da comicidade, do humor e do riso. Sem explicitar apenas os recursos técnicos e o fazer artesanal do texto antuneano, estudou-se a tessitura estilística da comicidade para entender os mecanismos e elementos que imprimem representatividade cômica ao texto de Lobo Antunes. Mesmo que Bergson, Propp, Bakhtin, Kyser tenham contribuído com a base teórica de produção do cômico, são as teorias de Freud sobre humor e chiste que melhor abarcam a prosa de Antunes. Essas teorias ajudaram a mostrar que, em Lobo Antunes, os processos que resultam em humor, muita vez, possuem características antagônicas aos \"modelos\" estabelecidos. Para demonstrar as dimensões possíveis do jogo textual e do jogo irônico nos romances da Trilogia, lançou-se mão das teorias, entre outros, de São Tomás de Aquino, Huizinga, Callois, Piaget e Iser. Evidenciou-se, também, que o humor da Trilogia é áspero porque corrói, desbasta e denuncia os abusos do poder, das instituições e os absurdos do mundo moderno. / The aim of this thesis understands the multiplication of the faces and the humour functions in Lobo Antunes\' prose. Facing his great literary work, the analysis focus was pointed towards the Trilogy about power. Gathered by the thematic and without prejudice the individual feature of each romance, a set of three, \"O Manual dos Inquisidores, O Esplendor de Portugal and Exortação aos Crocodilos\", comments about the violence and the fear that was established in Portugal and its African colonies in the Pre and Post Cravos Revolution period with plots apparently incompatible to the comicality, humour and laugh process. Not only making explicit the technical resources and Antunes\' handicraft text, but it was also studied the comicality stylistic contexture to understand the mechanisms and elements that transcribe comic representativity to Lobo Antunes\' text. Bergson, Propp, Bakhtin, Kyser contributed to the theoretical basis of the comic production, but Freud´s theories about humour and pleasantry comprise better Antonios\' prose. These theories helped to show that, in Lobo Antunes, the processes that result in humour may have antagonistic characteristics to the \"established models\". To demonstrate the possible dimensions of the textual and ironic games in the Trilogy novels, it was made use of Callois and Iser from among. It also became evident that Trilogy humour is austere because destroys slowly, devastates and informs against the abuse of power, the institutions and the nonsense modern world.

The specific objective of this work of research is: a)chart to the biographical profile of Ant?nio Alves da Silva; b) analyze to the nature of popular comicality, especially taking into account its aesthetic formatively and its resources linguistic-literary expression and c) exam to the specifically picaresque women, with cronotopo particularly adapted to the northeastern Brazilian reality. The position taken in this dissertation, in that respect, took the view that Maria Besta Sabida is a legitimate Brazilian picaresque, in a line of continuity of the Iberian matrix picaresque, of the centuries XVI and XVII. As appendix, will be presented a (new) of all works of AAS, catalogued the second thematic classification of Ariano Suassuna. / Esta pesquisa tem como tema principal o estudo do ciclo c?mico-picaresco na Literatura de Cordel, tomando-se como base os quatro folhetos que narram as proezas de Maria Besta Sabida, do cordelista radicado em Feira de Santana, Ant?nio Alves da Silva, analisado sob o enfoque interdisciplinar, envolvendo a teoria liter?ria, a est?tica do ris?vel e os estudos da cultura popular. It focuses mainly on his theatrical practice the several influences and experiences in the first period of his artistic production in Munich in between the years 1920 and 1925, when he lived with many artists, among them the comic Karl Valentin from whom he received contributions to the elaboration of his further works in which the irony and the grotesque are introduced. This research tries to understand how Bertolt Brecht always worried about the aesthetic fruition of the work (feel and instruct), and how he appropriates these elements and recreates them giving a new perspective inside his work as a constitutive element of criticism / O presente estudo propõe uma reflexão contemporânea por meio da análise e identificação da presença da comicidade na obra artística de Bertolt Brecht. Focalizam-se, sobretudo em sua prática teatral, as várias influências e experiências na fase inicial de sua produção artística em Munique, no período compreendido entre 1920 a 1925, quando conviveu com vários artistas, dentre eles o cômico Karl Valentin, de quem recebeu contribuições fundamentais para a elaboração de suas futuras obras, em que a ironia e o grotesco se apresentam. Coordenação de Aperfeiçoamento de Pessoal de Nível Superior / Este trabalho tem por objetivo analisar o riso e os elementos propiciadores do risível nas obras Alô, Doçura! Os protocolos secretos da AMOAL (2008), do escritor amazonense Simão Pessoa, e Era uma vez o amor mas tive que matá-lo (2006b) e Técnicas de masturbación entre Batman y Robin (2010), do escritor colombiano Efraim Medina Reyes, à luz dos pressupostos teóricos, principalmente de Henri Bergson, Vladímir Propp e Mikhail Bakhtin. Para tanto, foi necessário discutir as relações literárias entre a Amazônia e a América Latina e inserir os escritores na narrativa contemporânea. Também foi necessário estudar os movimentos contraculturais Geração Beat e Geração McOndo, assim como a estética do realismo sujo, com o objetivo de verificar suas influências na produção literária dos referidos escritores. A partir da metodologia utilizada, imbricada na Literatura Comparada, busquei um diálogo entre o corpus ficcional e os pressupostos teóricos e percebi que o humor do riso medieval, ou seja, o riso carnavalizado e grotesco, está presente ainda hoje na contemporaneidade. Ao final da análise pude constatar que Simão Pessoa e Medina Reyes estão filiados à tradição literária carnavalesca e à estética do riso. / This work has for objective to analyze the laughter and the elements which do it of the laughable in the works Alô, Doçura! Os protocolos secretos da AMOAL (2008), of the amazon writer Simão Pessoa, and Era uma vez o amor mas tive que matá-lo (2006b) and Técnicas de masturbación entre Batman y Robin (2010), of the Colombian writer Efraim Medina Reyes, to the light of theoretical presuppositions, mainly of Henri Bergson, Vladimir Propp and Mikhail Bakhtin. For so much, it was necessary to discuss the literary relationships between the Amazonian and Latin America and to insert the writers in the contemporary narrative. It was also necessary to study the counterculture movements Beat Generation and McOndo Generation, as well as the aesthetics of the dirty realism, with the objective of verifying its influences in the referred writers literary production. Starting from the used methodology, interlaced in the Compared Literature, looked for a dialogue between the corpus fictional and the and the theoretical presuppositions and I noticed that the humor of the medieval laughter, in other words, carnivalization and grotesque laughter, it is still today present in the contemporary hood. At the end of the analysis I could verify that Simão Pessoa and Medina Reyes are adopted to the carnival literary tradition and the aesthetic of the laughter.

This master thesis is concerned with biblical epic poem (or "epos") by Slovak author Augustin Dolezal, called Memorial Tragedy (1791, originally in Czech language). In this type of genre author takes well known biblical stories, such as fall of man or murder of Abel and adds his own fabricated circumstances. In this particular case author is trying to provide reader with catechesis and religious education on top the tale. Tragedy is mainly focused on the nature of sin and its connection to human condition, fall of man and possibility of evil in the world. Method of this paper is mainly theme analysis and comparison with Bible and its well known exegesis throughout the history. It is focused on comicality, which shall be defined in the theoretical part. Practical part attempts to come up with interpretation of the text in such a way, that certain themes, tropes or figures from the literary text are interconnected with certain features of comicality and shown as such.
